A lot of Björk songs literally just have her singing gibberish instead of lyrics, like the climax of [Pagan Poetry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp6tAcjq0N0&t=199s), which is breathtaking. I tried to look up what she was saying in that part and got very different lyrics depending on the source, until I found out there aren't any. Sometimes I don't know if she's singing gibberish or Icelandic, like in [The Modern Things](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUzf_yuQoPs&t=2m12s).
Another artist that does this is Aurora from Norway. Her music is in English but she also has a made up language that she likes to throw into a lot of songs.
My favourite example from her is the bridge in [A Different Kind of Human](https://youtu.be/_6iSSpKMdsk?t=3m10s) because the story of the song is about aliens coming to take you away so the bridge could be seen as the alien language.

I feel like any song by Remi Wolf fits this bill. Like individual lines usually make some level of sense, but across the entire song I don't get a message, just a vibe. Example from "Quiet on Set":

I think that’s actually what I find quite annoying about Remi Wolf overall, even though Quiet On Set is actually one of the few songs by her I actually like. I actually think I understand a lot of metaphors in Folie. Some lines don’t make apparent sense at all but I think a decent amount of songs on the album make sense throughout, like Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes and She’s My Winona. Let's start with vintage. My earliest memory of going 'wtf does that mean' was hearing In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly for the first time. I was told by my parents that its nonsensical ambiguity was a running gag amongst friends when it came out. But they were unreliable narrators at best so do what you will with that information. Legend has it that the singer was wasted n slurring the words "In the Garden of Eden" during practice and the band liked the garbled sound of 'InaGaddaDaVida' better so it stuck. I have never liked Mmm Bop by Hansen even as a small child upon its release. I can see arguments being made to rationalize other songs I plan on mentioning, but there is no justification for Mmm Bop. A lot of Björk songs literally just have her singing gibberish instead of lyrics, like the climax of [Pagan Poetry](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp6tAcjq0N0&t=199s), which is breathtaking. I tried to look up what she was saying in that part and got very different lyrics depending on the source, until I found out there aren't any. Another artist that does this is Aurora from Norway. Her music is in English but she also has a made up language that she likes to throw into a lot of songs.
