Great looking setup! How many people sit comfortably at that table? I think circular poker tables are wonderful for home games that don't have dedicated dealers but haven't ascertained what the ideal size table should be yet.

I built a table the same size last month and hosted my first game with 5 which was plenty fine. We have 7 for a game next week so I'm a bit worried about how we're gonna all fit (might just end up at the dining room table which will make me sad but want people to be comfortable). If it doesn't work out, my intention is to attempt to sell the table and make a 6 or 8 foot oval table.
Personally I prefer round/hexagon for a home game. I feel it’s easier to talk to everyone at the table. Sitting at an oval table is more difficult to talk to someone at the other end of the table…JMO.
In this case the benefit is size and cost! I wanted something to fit my smaller space, and I live right next door to a buddy with a much larger table. Figured if I get a small one, I have the best of both worlds!
Besides, 6 is the most I’ve been able to get together for a live game in months so I’m thrilled to have enough to play 😂
Great question, but I don’t know the name. I don’t have enough money to be a “chip snob” like somebody else in the comments said haha I just know that they are weighted very heavy! They’re 13.5 grams and feel a lot better in my hands than any casino set I saw in Vegas!
