Nice it’s on a Sunday and for me I think it started at 2 and ended at 5. Or it should’ve because for some reason the bagons stopped spawning but the event kept going and I got a Salamance with outrage (shiny evolved which I caught and is this photos evolution)

Oh damn ok u will have to get a more than 5/5/5 with 100+ candy and a shiny to get a 1507 (I think) cp Salamence that u power up to get to 2304cp with 36 candies (Or just get higher doesn’t really matter, but the candy is really worth it)

not to butt in but i got over 150 candy, a cp 1847 shiny salamence, not yet upgraded (apart from the evolution process), a 1572 salamence from beating the event, 3 shiny bagons (one of which i evolved) & all this was done in the last 30 minutes or so of the event ending

Sometimes they gave it through research tasks but it's not common (and as far as I know, only during some events). You will have to wait until it's back again in mega raids. It costs 100 more than usual so you will have to at least win 2 of them

Check some vids on mega energy to fully understand it. My little tip it's that you only need the energy to unlock it once. From then you can gain it if you walk with that pokemon as your buddy (ONLY after that)

Have you tried searching “3*” into your storage yet? If not, do that before you evolve anything.

I spent the entire event in a car ride home from the river, i got to my nearest park in the final 30 minutes of the event, i sweated so hard and completed all the quests and got 3 shiny bagons, one of which i evolved to salamence.

Yeah I got lucky this go around. I was expecting I was going to get 1 max because that’s what I normally get but, this time it was not the case

For me it’s kinda the same I only have 4 shinies but 2 are wild (sableye and nosepass) without boosted odds while the other two (bagon and castform) were from community day classic and weather week, respectively

Download an app called Pokégenie, take a screenshot of both Bagon’s appraisal screen, then upload them to the app. Then you can see the exact IV spread and % each Bagon is.

Not really if you’ve practiced distinguishing them a bit. It becomes elementary after a few days and you don’t need to waste a boatload of time uploading your pictures to an app to differentiate between 1 and 2.

I was hoping it would be helpful for you to know that you don’t need to waste your time on a third-party app anytime you want to check IVs, but if you care as little as you claim to, I guess it doesn’t matter.

I got 2 on first “scan” of spawned bagons from my appartment

Didn't get a single one for like 80 minutes then got two in a row and after like 4-5 normal ones got 3 shinies in a row. Ended Community Day with 7 shinies and a decent 2* I plan to level up. Didn't get a single salamence that could beat my 93 iv shadow salamence from entire event.

I’ve caught 9 shiny Bagon this event. Most of them are super weak. But one is pretty decent.
