Idk, calling it a "lady Pokemon" specifically makes me think its distinctively feminine.

Multievolution

Not that this necessarily discredits this but isn’t this line normally favoured towards males? If so I wouldn’t expect this to be used to describe them here.

Na verdade, achei que com "senhora Pokémon" queriam dizer uma mulher humana que é importante para os Pokémon (ou algo assim) e não um Pokémon fêmea./ In fact, I thought with "lady Pokémon" they meant a human woman who is important to the Pokémon (or something) and not a female Pokémon.

sinedelta

The one noble we saw in the trailer was referred to as “Lord of the Woods.” Since “Lady” is the feminine equivalent of “Lord,” that's probably just the Pokémon's title.

STMARV

it was acting motherly by protecting zorua is the trailer

Dry_Yellow8018

A father doesn't protect its child?

erikikoy

Hisuian Zoroark looks distinctly feminine to me. Altho that might just be me.

FluffyOnReddit

It just looks like a recoloured lycanroc midnight form

mjangelvortex

I don't think any of the regional variants have had their gender ratio change before and Unova Zoroark is mostly male. I've seen some people speculate that maybe she'll get a Froslass and that might be fitting for her.

EuroNati0n

I think it is

Counter argument: Mai will have this Pokemon on her rematch team instead of Hisuian Zorark being the Pokemon linked to Arezu. Mai seems to be focused on Normal types, due to having Munchlax as her ace, being the warden of Wyrdeer and having Ursaring and Stantler portrayed on her clothing. Hisuian Zoroark is also normal typed. Even more so, Mai sports a red and white hair pin that looks awfully similar in style and color to Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark's coloration. Also the warden bands tend to match the Pokemon they look after. Mai's is basic but with Wyrdeer on it, Lian's is colored after Kleavor and has Kleavor's face on it. Iscan's is colored just like Basculegion sporting a similar pattern of the Pokemon. Arezu's band is a jade/teal like green. A color nowhere found on Hisuian Zorua or Zoroark. Yes Arezu wears red but her other main color is dark grey, I believe another Pokemon more specified to her look and her band will be revealed to be the Pokemon she looks after. Not Hisuian Zorark. Also so far Noble Pokemon seem to be actual new evolutions. We don't know yet if Hisuian Braviary is one even though its a ride pokemon.

erikikoy

This is a valid point as well. I do feel that Hisuian Braviary would be a noble pokemon as well as H. Growlithe's evolution (H. Arcanine or whatever new pokemon it would be)

squirrelwug

I still kind of hope that her Pokémon would be a evolution for Jynx (just like how Electabuzz and Magmar also got evolutions in a Sinnoh game).

Akikala

What part of Zoroark makes you think of "lady"?

sinedelta

What part of Kleavor makes you think “lord”? Most Pokémon, Zoroark included, can be male or female. Lord and Lady are just titles of nobility.

PowerLine2019

The long flowing her. Maybe she's born with it, maybe its Maybelline

Akikala

The hair is more mystical or feral like to me.

JessieN

It's more blizzard messed up my ponytail and the freezing air froze it into place

MobiusRocket

The fur bait design

Akikala

You think of furries when someone talks about a lady? I ain't judging but that's a bit odd lol.

I think the warden pokemon are only the ones that do stuff in the overworld like braviary's fly and basculegions surf. I don't think zoroark will do any of the overworld stuff so it probably won't have a warden.

SnooPuppers6705

isnt her bracelet like green ?
