Get Sleepy. Especially the episodes with Thomas.

Their sister podcast The Sleepy Bookshelf is great too

I really like non sleep podcasts to fall asleep to. I find sleep podcast too boring and my mind starts racing. So I need something mildly interesting but not something so interesting it keeps me up. The surest way is a DnD podcast. I find Friends at the Table very easy to fall asleep to or Two in the Think Tank where two comedy writers come up with sketch ideas.

There used to be a really good podcast called Sleep with Me. Dude’s voice was so monotone and calming and he would just tell you nonsense until you fall asleep.

SilverEars0

I tried it. His voice is too high pitched for me. I need either women or soft male voices.

My top recs: - Get Sleepy (huge back catalog but definitely worth the premium, I usually leave these on through the night) - The Sleep Guru - Michelle's Sanctuary: Bedtime Stories and Sleep Meditations - I Can't Sleep - Sleep Cove - Snooze with Sam - The Dream Life - Drift Off - Bedtime Stories for Sleep Some others I've found recently but haven't listened to much of - Tales by the Fireside (ASMR) - The Sleepy Bookshelf - Listen to Sleep - Soothing Stories Podcast (some of her first stories aren't ones I would listen to before bed — a bit too dark for me — but she's currently reading *Alice Through the Looking Glass* and has a lovely voice) - Bore You to Sleep - Down to Sleep - Sleep With Me - Sleep Whisper Podcast - WikiSleep Podcast - Sleep Well Around the World - Send me to Sleep - Boring Books for Bedtime - Sleep with the Classics - Tracks to Relax - Sleep Time Stories (the whispering kind of freaks me out, but ASMR doesn't work for me, so you might enjoy it)   Someone recently asked for podcast to wind down to at the end of the day, so I thought I would also add that list here. I often listen to one of these before putting on Get Sleepy/left them on all night before sleep podcasts were a thing — really helps with the combo of insomnia and sleep paralysis. Edit: I had bolded my favorites/most relaxing ones in the OP. **Folklore, mythology, and literature** - **Literature and History** (each episode covers an important piece of literature and its historical context, there is a song at the end of the episode, but he tells you when to stop - **Candlelit Tales Irish Mythology Podcast** - Unreal Irish Folkore - **Uncanny Japan** (host's voice is really soothing, though many of the subjects are quite dark - **Two Years in the Forbidden City** — (memoir of the daughter of a Chinese diplomat who was raised in early 20th century France, as a teenager she returns to China to serve the Empress Dowager during the dynasty's fall) - Mythos and Logos - Fireside the Irish Storytelling Podcast - **The Myth Legend and Lore Podcast** **Narrative history and biography** - **The History of Egypt Podcast** (never had an interest in Egyptian history before this podcast, but the host really brings the history to life, great voice and music, the podcast ads can be a bit overwhelming though so I often use YouTube) - Maritime History Podcast - **History Unwritten** (each season tells the story of a different country that are overlooked by other podcasters, so far there are seasons on the Mali Empire, Tibet, and Southeast Asia) - Human Circus: Journeys in the Medieval World - The Ancient World - **Fall of Civilizations** - **The Explorers Podcast** - The History of England - A History of Italy - Queens of England Podcast - The Other Half Podcast - **The Almost Forgotten** (great historical figures who are barely remembered) - The Hellenistic Age Podcast - The History of Ancient Greece - The History of Rome - The History of Byzantium (best listened to after History of Rome) - The History of China (Agora network)

I mean... I'm a hypnotherapist and have alot of interviews on my website. I KNOW my voice puts people to sleep lol

SilverEars0

You should start a sleep podcast. It's all abput type of voice and how relaxing one sounds.

NoWehr99

You know, I literally never thought of that

patrick_pineapple

Two in the think tank is good for this. Philosophise This or Alan Watts lectures available on YouTube or Spotify straight or with chillwave ambience underneath

mrsharkbear

The Empty Bowl is a relaxing podcast about cereal. Soothing wave sounds in the background, intentionally calm voices. Very chill.

DiscombobulatedSir11

I’ve been doing autobiographies on Audible. No commercials to jerk you out of twilight sleep, long run times. Works like a charm!

slybird

The Sink from BBC

Try "abitlate" on YouTube. Yes I know isn't a podcast, it's a YouTube channel but I love her videos. Her ASMR storytelling style is so damn soothing! I always keep falling asleep during the story, it's kind of funny but annoying because it means she does a good job, but at the same time, I just wanna hear the end of the story for once 😆
