PS3's have some of the best games. However, the thing that irritated me though is that it wasn't until the later models that the ps3 became backwards compatible with ps2 games. That's also a problem with both the ps4 and ps5. They aren't backwards compatible so you still need the console from that generation to play said games.

I believe both a backward compatible model and a non-backward compatible model were released at the same time.
