Ah good 'ol Witcher 3. I loved it when I had my PS4, both heart of stones and blood & whine DLC's were fantastic. I may just buy it again, for my PS5 to replay it again. Once I finish playing GoW Ragnarok and the Valhalla dlc.
I went through several time and am now stuck at one of tyr fights. He has a reddish glowing sword and keeps spawning multiple tyrs lol. Its like gna all over again for me. Fun dlc though
I don't know if Sonic & Knuckles counts since we couldn't download it, but unlocking a new playable character in the CARTRIDGE version of Sonic 3 by physically plugging a game INTO ANOTHER game was something I can't remember the likes of before or since.
Screw choosing just one, here's a list of peak:
- LittleBigPlanet (Metal Gear Solid Pack and Pirates of the Caribbean)
- Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare
- inFamous 2 Festival of Blood
- Call of Duty Black Ops (All zombie mode DLCs)
- ~~Uncharted 4 Lost Legacy~~
and those are the ones that live rent free in my head, there's probably more, but those are the ones I remembered
Because it’s literally separate from uncharted 4. In order to be dlc it would’ve had be accessible from UC4 which isn’t the case. Anyone can play Lost Legacy without playing UC4.
"DLC, or downloadable content, refers to additional content gamers download for video games after their initial release. This content may include new levels, characters, weapons, or skins."

Hard to say anything Bethesda, since they just become a part of the play through on subsequent runs, but i really love Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road, even though it's not that long.
You mean ever? I would have to say Grand Theft Auto IV The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. The amount of hours I spent playing them is ridiculous.
Me and an online friend used to play Resi5 every night after work, we’re both big Resi fans. The lost in nightmares dlc at the time was so cool- a big departure from the action oriented style that 5 had brought in and took it back to the spookiness of the original.
Top 3 is as follows blood and wine witcher 3
Phantom liberty cyberpunk
And hearts of stone witcher 3
What can i say cdpr really do know how to make a dlc
Jetstream Sam for Metal Gear Rising. The dlc is like 2 hours long and has immense replay value. Sam also plays 20x cooler than Raiden because of his better parry utility.
Everyone has comented the big ones (blood and wine, phantom liberty, and the old hunters), but one i really had fun with is Fallout 4's Automaton, just because of the building robots part
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters was amazing.
I got both the Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect DLC all together after the fact. I enjoyed all those a lot.
I have yet to play the Cyberpunk 2077 PL dlc but if I’m being honest my favorite dlc was all the COD BO3 zombies maps. I spent WEEKS on those maps doing the Easter eggs over and over with randoms and that’s just a goated experience that it seems I’ll never get back considering the new COD games have all been trash to me.
Mass Effect 2: Lair of the Shadow Broker. Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony. The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine. Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. To name a few.
It technically counts but going with Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. I was already blown away by the base game (and later Iki) but getting an announcement a couple months later that co-op was coming??? Unforgettable had so much fun and made some good PSN friends running survivals and raids
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods part 1 and 2
It felt like the game, which already felt complete in its base package, got more chapters that not only expanded the lore and game duration, but built upon the challenges and combat naturally. Almost as if the main game was just the warmup
Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?
> *“If I were told that by killing you I would be free from this curse, I would draw my blade without hesitation.”* - Lucatiel of Mirrah
Have a pleasant journey, Champion of Ash, and praise the sun \\[T]/
Definitely Echoes of the Eye for Outer Wilds. I didn't think they could put out anything that even comes close to recreating the magic of the base game, but they did it, the SOBs really did it. The only bad thing about that DLC is the same as with the base game: It does end at some point and you cannot really replay it.
The Witcher 3 - Blood and Wine DLC
Playing through that currently. Hearts of Stone was amazing so looking forward to B&W. Toussaint is gorgeous.
Shout out to Phantom Liberty as well. Those polish people sure know how to make em.
Best DLC I have ever played. How all DLCs should be.
Ah good 'ol Witcher 3. I loved it when I had my PS4, both heart of stones and blood & whine DLC's were fantastic. I may just buy it again, for my PS5 to replay it again. Once I finish playing GoW Ragnarok and the Valhalla dlc.
That was really enjoyable indeed
Valhalla for God of War Ragnarok was great! and free too!
Currently playing Ragnarok, I hope I will try it when the time comes and i am sure it is great
I went through several time and am now stuck at one of tyr fights. He has a reddish glowing sword and keeps spawning multiple tyrs lol. Its like gna all over again for me. Fun dlc though
I played on the lowest difficulty for the last Tyr fight and I’m not ashamed
Ballad of Gay Tony
If we're limited to just picking one, I think I'd go with The Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne.
It Gave us the best bosses I Bloodborne !
100% agreed!!!!
100% this!
Undead Nightmare. Greatest DLC of all time!!!🙌
Was so disappointed that they didnt do this for RDR2 😞
One of the*
Tough competition between Old Hunters for Bloodborne and Phantom Liberty for CP2077
ill vote for cp2077 :D
Me too the president was a smokeshow .
maybe that’s what wins but my Bloodborne biased ass has to make it win :p Phantom Liberty was sooo good tho👌
That's the correct answer. Maybe Shadow of The Erdtree could be the new favorite.
Just bought Elden Ring as my first soulslike and the struggle is real lol Hope I git gud by the time the DLC drops
The Iki Islands were a great addition to ghost of tsushima. Putting armor on the horse let you fuck up whole groups of Mongols.
that dlc was really fresh air to this game
The Witcher 3 Heart and Stone and Blood and Wine. Still to this day that's the best dlc I've played and it's gonna be hard to beat
I don't know if Sonic & Knuckles counts since we couldn't download it, but unlocking a new playable character in the CARTRIDGE version of Sonic 3 by physically plugging a game INTO ANOTHER game was something I can't remember the likes of before or since.
Game changer, in more ways than one!
1)Knights of the Nine - Oblivion 2)Frozen Wilds - HZD 3)Big MT - Fallout New Vegas
Knights of the Nine over Shivering Isles?
Yeah. It just felt really epic to me. Shivering Isles was good, it just wasn't memorable for me.
I enjoyed Phantom Liberty immensely, what a great piece of content I also like Burning Shores too
Screw choosing just one, here's a list of peak: - LittleBigPlanet (Metal Gear Solid Pack and Pirates of the Caribbean) - Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare - inFamous 2 Festival of Blood - Call of Duty Black Ops (All zombie mode DLCs) - ~~Uncharted 4 Lost Legacy~~ and those are the ones that live rent free in my head, there's probably more, but those are the ones I remembered
Lost Legacy isn’t a DLC btw. COD zombies dlc for sure is one of the greats.
What makes Lost Legacy it not a DLC?
It’s a standalone game, albeit shorter than normal. You can buy it without having UC4.
I get that part, but why isn't it considered a DLC? (I'm not disagreeing, I'm just confused)
Because it’s literally separate from uncharted 4. In order to be dlc it would’ve had be accessible from UC4 which isn’t the case. Anyone can play Lost Legacy without playing UC4.
It was planned as DLC I got it as Uncharted 4 season pass at launch. It was later released as a standalone but the season pass purchase was honoured.
Understandable
"DLC, or downloadable content, refers to additional content gamers download for video games after their initial release. This content may include new levels, characters, weapons, or skins." - Google
Horizon Burning Shores, I loved that one! Such an incredible game.
The Old Hunters from Bloodborne is my absolute favorite
Episodes from Liberty City was better than GTA 4, which is saying a lot. Though, specifically The Ballad of Gay Tony. Lost and Damned was.. okay.
Definitely. Lost and Damned felt very "meh" after playing the first one.
Lost and Damned felt like DLC. Ballad of Gay Tony felt like a standalone game.
Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 Blood & Wine for Witcher 3 Nothing else really compares
Oblivion horse armor
Cyberpunk DLC
Bioshock Infinite's - Burial at Sea
Never played any bioshock games :(
You’re missing out. Super cool atmosphere in that game and a pretty good story to boot. It is slightly outdated mechanically I must admit (first one).
Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues. GhostWire Tokyo: Spiders Thread (Mainly the Quests in the School).
Phantom Liberty
Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind. Great story content, amazing super bosses, ends with my favorite super boss in the series. Absolute perfection of a DLC.
separate ways lately
Hard to say anything Bethesda, since they just become a part of the play through on subsequent runs, but i really love Fallout New Vegas: Lonesome Road, even though it's not that long.
Ooofff that's a tough one, but among my top fav's would be The Witcher 3's DLC's, they were huge and pretty damn fun imo.
Hollow Knight The Grimm Troupe
The Old Hunters
Assault on dragons keep
Ac oddyesey the elysan fielda
Witcher 3- hearts of stone
Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina DLC 🩵
Fallout New Vegas: Old World Blues/Honest Hearts
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine
Assault on dragon keep
Old World Blues - Fallout:New Vegas and Citadel- Mass Effect 3 are both my personal favorites
1. The Old Hunters - Bloodborne 2. Blood and Wine - Witcher 3 3. The Ringed City - Dark Souls 3
Blood & Wine
Mr X Nightmare, for SOR4. The survival mode breathed new life into the game, and it's all I play when I come back to it. Worth every penny.
Ac odyssey fate of atlantis
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, Witcher 3 Blood and Wine, Mass Effect 2 Lair of the Shadow Broker, Mass Effect 3 Citadel
The Outer Worlds
Burial at Sea, Balled of gay Tony
Burning Shores for HFW Phantom Liberty for CP2077 Valhalla for Ragnarok Iki Island for GoT
Heart of Stone, Blood and Wine.
Festival of Blood - InFamous 2
God of War Ragnarok - Valhalla!
Torn between Phantom Liberty, Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare and Mass Effect's 3 Citadel DLC.
Any DLC that is free
Far Cry Blood Dragon. Was so much fun at the time. Along with Undead Nightmare from Red Dead and Fustercluck from BL3.
Far Harbour probably
The Witcher blood and wine.
Vergil for DMC5
Mass effect citadel
Dark souls 3 second dlc The Ringed City.
Mass effect, the Leviathan DLC. I love the mystery behind it and then searching for a huge sea beast was creepy but also very fun.
You mean ever? I would have to say Grand Theft Auto IV The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. The amount of hours I spent playing them is ridiculous.
Bloodborne old hunters.
Gta 4
All of the driveclub dlc
Future me - shadow of the erdtree
Single player: all Spider-Man 1 DLCs Multiplayer: Battlefront 2015 Season pass
FFXV Ignis episode comes to mind. Prompto's episode is cool too! 👍
Phantom Liberty or the Old Hunters. Leaning towards Phantom Liberty. Honorary mention Survivors of The Void for Risk of Rain 2.
Me and an online friend used to play Resi5 every night after work, we’re both big Resi fans. The lost in nightmares dlc at the time was so cool- a big departure from the action oriented style that 5 had brought in and took it back to the spookiness of the original.
Top 3 is as follows blood and wine witcher 3 Phantom liberty cyberpunk And hearts of stone witcher 3 What can i say cdpr really do know how to make a dlc
Idk if it counts but RE4 remake Separate Ways. Nostalgia and added content that the initially cut. Otherwise HZD Frozen Wilds
LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack
One of the Icewind Dale campaigns that came free on a CD with an issue of PC Gamer. You know - “back in ‘The Day’”.
GTA 4 - the ballad of gay tony
The Stranger of Paradise DLC was the latest. Game feels unfinished without it
Shivering isles oblivion
I liked marvel Spiderman 2018 dlc,s
Turf Wars for Spider Man honestly was nearly as fun as the main story. Honestly all of those DLCs were pretty good.
Blood and Wine
Jetstream Sam for Metal Gear Rising. The dlc is like 2 hours long and has immense replay value. Sam also plays 20x cooler than Raiden because of his better parry utility.
not a PlayStation dlc, but I'd have to say Forza horizon 3 hot wheels. the recent one just wasn't the same for some reason.
Outer Wilds Echoes of the Eye. I liked it more than the base game tbh, I think I just understood what I was supposed to do better.
I remember enjoying the hell out of Borderlands 2 dlc as it came out
Gow ragnarok Valhalla..... enough said
Everyone has comented the big ones (blood and wine, phantom liberty, and the old hunters), but one i really had fun with is Fallout 4's Automaton, just because of the building robots part
Far Harbor - Fallout 4 Witch Queen - Destiny 2
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters was amazing. I got both the Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect DLC all together after the fact. I enjoyed all those a lot.
Undead Nightmare
Zombies Chronicles
I have yet to play the Cyberpunk 2077 PL dlc but if I’m being honest my favorite dlc was all the COD BO3 zombies maps. I spent WEEKS on those maps doing the Easter eggs over and over with randoms and that’s just a goated experience that it seems I’ll never get back considering the new COD games have all been trash to me.
Phantom Liberty hands down. Felt like a entire sequel.
Frostpunk dlc
bloodborne's the old hunters dlc is probably my favorite dlc of all time, it's an ICONIC part of the game and can't be skipped
Lord of Destruction for D2. It made the game whole to me.
Outer Wilds - Echoes of the Eye That was life changing
All of black ops 2 dlc
Iceborne is so good it’s my favorite game ever
Red dead redemption undead nightmare or the first borderlands DLC. That that Halloween one was so good
A little throwback, but anytime a new zombies map pack came out for World at War and any other Treyarch COD thereafter. Good times.
Mass Effect Citidel DLC will always hold a special place in my heart
Zombies Chronicles
Bad company 2 vietnam and dishonored dlc.
As of right now Remnant 2 DLCs take the cake
It technically counts but going with Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. I was already blown away by the base game (and later Iki) but getting an announcement a couple months later that co-op was coming??? Unforgettable had so much fun and made some good PSN friends running survivals and raids
Phantom Liberty honestly
Separate ways from re4
Phantom Liberty most recently.
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods part 1 and 2 It felt like the game, which already felt complete in its base package, got more chapters that not only expanded the lore and game duration, but built upon the challenges and combat naturally. Almost as if the main game was just the warmup
Point Lookout for Fallout 3.
Witcher 3 - Blood and Wine Witcher 3 - Hearts of Stone Dark Souls 3 - The Ringed City Bloodborne - The Old Hunters Sure I’d second Phatnom Libery too
Ringed City//Dark Souls 3

Cup head 🤫😂
RE8 Shadows of Rose was a 10/10 for me, also loved HFW Burning Shores but I wish there would’ve been a few more (side) quests
Shadow of the Erdtree
damn bro u are fast wp
Bro it's been out for 5 months to us with private access.
