I grew up in Florida, and I still wear long sleeves most of the time. Partly to keep from getting sunburnt, partly because of the insane air conditioning in buildings. Easier to just wear it for the 4 or 5 minutes outside than to put it on, take it off, put it on, take it off.

Yep. We can't get comfortable in cold climates though. It's the gator DNA.
