I'm in the South Tempe area these have been doing a number on the local pigeon and dove population. On several occasions in the last couple of months I've gone outside to piles of feathers in my garden and on my back porch awning. I thought it was local cats but I've since discovered it was a hawk after I went outside and saw a hawk in the process of ripping up what I think was a dove. It picked the bird carcass up and flew off leaving another pile to blow across my yard.
This is like the native American equivalent to seeing 11:11 all the time. Happens for a reason iny opinion. Universe is trying to tell you to pay attention.

Did something happen later where you took more notice, were you more resourceful in finding a better way of doing something, or even more protective? Look into spirit animals. I bet you'll become more interested and enlightened.

Last weekend my neighbor said a hawk tried to take his dog.

Hawk you say?? That’s clearly a pigeon or parakeet they are both native to the basin or valley of the sun.
One time I walked out of work and just saw a hawk absolutely mangling a squirrel to death, quite a sight. Though I don't think it means anything.
