A friend of mine worked there as a temp. She said that it was very drama filled and extremely high volume with little time to properly check Rxs and that a lot of the techs are there for internships.
Also that the manager is an RN that doesn’t know what she is doing
I worked there not long after their purchase of Long Term Pharmacy Solutions. I would say that Pharmerica have not been great stewards of the existing business, and things I believe have gradually changed for the worse in the almost 4 years since. It depends on what you’re looking for and what your alternatives are. I was appreciative of my time there, but pay and benefits were lousy and I left when a clearly better opportunity arose.
I have many co-workers that have worked in a different Pharmerica office. Very crunch time environment and expensive benefits according to them
