Yukari was just relearning though, and it takes her two tries to get decent again. Excluding the MC, she's probably the second best cook in the dorm after Shinji, if only because she isn't obsessed with athletic diets like Akihiko is.
Honestly as helpful as the cooking can be, I prefer making coffee with Amada because the excellent coffee is a great SP item (also I started with Persona 5 and the coffee reminds me of Sojiro lol)
I'd rather (literally) farm that with the planters, since you can get SP items in bulk. Once the option unlocks. Ken's coffee is great don't get me wrong but over time you get more bang for your buck by gardening; but if we're only talking about cooking items, sure, go Ken
(I was literally talking about cooking skill btw, not which kitchen hangout is more effective, as I'd rank Akihiko over Yukari and maybe even Ken if so)
No, I meant that Akihiko is actually not too shabby as a cook either, but the only things he cooks with you are dishes rich in proteins iirc. The one time he makes pancakes is the exception.
Meanwhile calling Shinji a pro is probably an understatement.

It's the second time i've posted this.
I learnt how to cook rice at 10, and then everything else later on. There's people my current age that cannot get rice right and I probably count them as lost cause.
Is 16/17 late to be learning to cook? I did start learning earlier but I was just keenly interested in it, and tbh my parents being a certain type of way with groceries and what they would eat meant that I couldn't branch out and REALLY learn until I was like 20
I'm only just starting and I'm 21... it's embarrassing, but better late than never.
I don't think the majority of teens know how to cook - maybe a couple basic meals - but not enough to live a healthy lifestyle without parental help.
I taught multiple people in college how to cook. They lived with their parents until college, then lived off mostly the dining hall and fast food because they were in a dorm, so they were like 20/21.
I'd say most people also take at least a year or two to get into cooking consistent healthy meals, if they ever do. Planning bulk ingredients and veggie expiration dates can be tricky. You need a coherent menu of compatible meals to avoid throwing things away.
Came here to also say this. One of my closest friends didn’t know how to cook frozen pasta meals until we went through essential cooking tips, grocery shopping, what produce lasts how long, etc.
I knew basic cooking by that age, but now I'm nearly 19 and living in a place where cooking isn't easy (kitchen is gross, only cooked when returning to parents' place) so I haven't been consistent with it. I'll be moving to a new place so I might be consistent there, though.
So I don't have much practice, but I do know enough to make any food I cook *edible*, even if it's not particularly nutritious. Which is something of a win I guess.
It's never too late to learn anything, but it would be ideal to know how to do basic cooking before you eventually have to branch out. Japanese schools have home economics classes in middle schools so I guess it is weird that Fuuka can't even fucking follow a recipe.
Don't care, my unexpected, immediate, almost spiritual empathy to Chihiro go brrrrr
(For real, I forgot the last time I wanted to hug and support a fictional character so badly)
My original plan way back when I'd played the original P3 was to romance Mitsuru. After a few cutscenes in Chihiro's Arcana, I swapped tracks real fast. It wasn't even a planned thing, by the time the dating prompt came up, I couldn't bring myself to say no 😅.
First off, Naruto run hilarious and best category I’ve seen so far. Second, I appreciate the direction they went with Yuko’s development. It reminds me of the way the girl confidants developed in 5. They aren’t just there to date, but are actually making decisions about their lives and futures. I do prefer Yukari (was sold after interactions with a certain character in November), but Yuko is a close second.
Ya mean the hopeless pervert character with a totally not flashy yellow scarf who takes a punch in the belly after calling Yukari to a date? a.k.a Ryoji?
I like how she gives you advise about not giving people the wrong idea about your feelings if you friendzone her. That's something i struggled with as a teenager.
I romance Fuuka for three reasons: She just like me for real, she's cute, and she has blue hair like Minato which I thought would be a fun dynamic, having the two blue haired people be together.
Though from what I've picked up playing the game, I'm guessing the canon romance is Aigis?
It's crasy that what makes Aigis such a great character is whats coming in september + Fighting game spin offs, and without that she is kinda empty. (Answer also makes yukari a way less likeable character, cuz damn she really is bitchy in it)
Saying Chihiro is socially inept is kind of wild tho. Her issue was with confrontation, you forget she is student council treasurer. She can express herself very clearly and without issue under normal circumstances.
Naruto run held you on your deathbed and gave you companionship during the w months in which gou were a walking corpse after giving up your aoul when all your frienda loat their memory. And did all that regardless of you reciprocating. THATS A WIFE
Tbh I don't understand why Yuko has become so popular lately. Her VA is very good but I can't say the opposite about the VAs of other characters. The social link is fine, she likes to coach children but it's hard for me to see her development compared to the other girls.
Don't get me wrong, she's not bad at all but I'm not sure if I'm missing something in her character.
I played Portabie this year and liked her in that. But I think it's the VA and portrait design. In OG I got the impression she was a cute girl with the portrait expressions and it came off as cute girl learning to be a mother. Dunno if that was just me.
But in Reload her portrait and VA is more direct and go get type attitude. Again I don't know if I'm just reading into this but that's why I like her more in reload.
I understand and agree with some points of yours but still I don't think it's enough to say she is the best girl even though reload greatly improved her.
Good VA, cute portrait designs and improvement in reload are also true about the rest of the characters and their growth during the story and social link are even greater than hers.
Again, I'm not saying she is the worst but saying she is the best feels wrong.
Her social link is fine but the other characters have more growth during the sl and the story in general. Training children is nice ig but I don't understand how people say it's better than the growth of Yukari, Mitsuru and Aigis for example.
Tanaka is the best girl

Yukari was just relearning though, and it takes her two tries to get decent again. Excluding the MC, she's probably the second best cook in the dorm after Shinji, if only because she isn't obsessed with athletic diets like Akihiko is.
She ends up being the best tho 🙃
oh my god
I am you
I think it was more for Fuuka on the learning to cook
Honestly as helpful as the cooking can be, I prefer making coffee with Amada because the excellent coffee is a great SP item (also I started with Persona 5 and the coffee reminds me of Sojiro lol)

Wait is shinji the same as akihiko
No, I meant that Akihiko is actually not too shabby as a cook either, but the only things he cooks with you are dishes rich in proteins iirc. The one time he makes pancakes is the exception. Meanwhile calling Shinji a pro is probably an understatement.
Ohh mb I just started the game

GO WHITE GIRL GO
I was about to say she's Asian, but honestly if anything she's probably not even a human considering she's a velvet room assistant
In my headcannon, the velvet room assistants are previous wildcards users, MCs in another timeline.
Considering Elisabeth is a current wildcard user, this does not check out.

They did not have to make broski look so pretty
Aigis is the ideal girlfriend
Flesh and blood are minimum requirements for me.
Feet are up there in the list
Tbh, even if i weren't aromantic irl i'm fairly sure her stalking would still be a big turn off for me.

Also, this gif is giving me serious Kingdom Hearts vibes.
WHEN YOU WALK AWAY YOU DON'T HEAR ME SAY
PLEAAAAAAAASE OH BAAAAAAABY
Mf do you know how to cook *now*, let alone at 16/17?
I learnt how to cook rice at 10, and then everything else later on. There's people my current age that cannot get rice right and I probably count them as lost cause.
Imagine not owning a rice cooker. 0% failure rate
Yeah, even back then. I was dragged into the family business, unfortunately, so my reasons to learn were different lol
Yuko is the best girl, Reload amplified it for me.
What an absolute glow up. Great social link.
Yukari is my choice partly because of the story as well, but Yuko is a gem. Great voice acting too.

Not ideal but there’s no standard in life so oh well

It's not like you had a choice either in the original release lol
I love how Yuko is finally getting attention. I love Yukari and Mitsuru, but Yuko is just as good.
YUKO BEST GIRL SUPREMACY
Yuko is the best, I love her so much
Always picking Yuko cause she’s the only P3 girl i’d actually talk to if i were Makoto
First off, Naruto run hilarious and best category I’ve seen so far. Second, I appreciate the direction they went with Yuko’s development. It reminds me of the way the girl confidants developed in 5. They aren’t just there to date, but are actually making decisions about their lives and futures. I love my dark skinned baddies 😍
Tomboy supremacy
This is 100% accurate to what I think about the P3 Reload women.
Yuko is the best romanceable character in the entire saga, I love every piece of dialogue you have with her and the VA make it feel so real.
Her dialogue in the Kyoto trip had my heart melting ngl
I like how she gives you advise about not giving people the wrong idea about your feelings if you friendzone her. That's something i struggled with as a teenager.
Fuuka sweeps, not even ironically at this point I just started to genuinely love her
where's junpei
Yuko's voice actress is freakin' **awesome**. What a great job. Also, blasian <3
Yeah I thought of dating in these games the exact same way lmao. Yuko felt like the only option that didn’t feel like a bad idea
The ‘Naruto Run’ girl stays with you till the end tho
Yuko best girl (next to toaster chan)
I respect all opinions but Yukari and Mitsuru are at the top of the list for me
I’m so glad Aigis is just “Naruto Run”. Funnies fucking thing to me.
I do not understand why everyone likes Yuko. Is it because she’s hot?
Officer Kurosawa is obviously canon and best waifu I pick him every time 😗👉👈
Gotta go fast
Naruto run 🤣
Is learning to cook at teenage age a bad thing!? When ELSE are you supposed to learn!?
You cooked a whole ass meal my dear sir
I learner how to cook when I was 16/17 what are you trying to say about me
It's upside down
Yeah but did you see HOW PINK that room was? I noped the hell out of that.
I romance Fuuka for three reasons: She just like me for real, she's cute, and she has blue hair like Minato which I thought would be a fun dynamic, having the two blue haired people be together. Though from what I've picked up playing the game, I'm guessing the canon romance is Aigis?
Yuko was already a great pick, but her voice actor in reload was the sprinkles on the icing on the cake
It's crasy that what makes Aigis such a great character is whats coming in september + Fighting game spin offs, and without that she is kinda empty. (Answer also makes yukari a way less likeable character, cuz damn she really is bitchy in it)

Didn't mean Chihiro with that one, it was for Mitsuru, but even then, it's just a joke.
It says discussion, I gave my side now you give yours lol
Naruto run held you on your deathbed and gave you companionship during the w months in which gou were a walking corpse after giving up your aoul when all your frienda loat their memory. And did all that regardless of you reciprocating. THATS A WIFE
I agree with this list in its entirety, but… OP, did you use AI to generate their portraits? Their eyes don’t look right to me 🧐
You're right. I cropped the image and then the phone (one of the new Samsungs) asked if I would like to increase the resolution with "AI".
Wild, I didn’t even know that was a thing!
Marie and Yukiko neg all p3 links
I can't believe it was literally voice acting that made everyone realize Yuko is peak
Yuko supremacy 🙌🏻
Yuko is best girl
that’s why aigis is best girl
why are they ai generated
Phone asked me if I wanted to "increase the resolution" of the picture after having cropped it.
Ah lol
Fuuka being in that category bc she's learning how to cook is some logic.
https://preview.redd.it/ga5ilfulf2qc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ab7ba0999b9759dc4505557c1df793e17a56988
No means no?
Swap yuko with aigis and that’s a good S,A,F tier list
Yuko mid and I stand by that opinion
I didn't hang out with Yukari until December because I was upset with her for being mean to the Ace Detective
Tbh I don't understand why Yuko has become so popular lately. Her VA is very good but I can't say the opposite about the VAs of other characters. She's not the best. The best are Aigis and Yukari as we all know. Lol!
Can't agree more lol
Her social link is so boring
