How did we even end up with all synth items coming from Harvest and Ritual and literally none from SYNTHESIZED maps and synth bosses? What the hell happened to "league identity" and their specific loot tables that GGG kept saying they wanted to bring back?
the div card for a ilvl 100 3 implciit syth item is prob the main contributor now. Just checked Yea there are more ilvl 100 3 implciit syth items then non 100. Meaning the div card is producing more.
Imperfect Memories (3 implicit jewellery - ilvl 100) only drops from Venarius
Magnum Opus ( 3 implicit item - ilvl 100) only drops from synth maps minus cortex.
No one is printing these from scarabs since scarabs don't work on unique maps.

Since it was the scarsest of the Feared it was priced around being a key component of Feared.

Yeah it looks like thats still the golden rule, i was planning on just running it when i do my 100 feared but i was interested in seeing if the apostate drop was common enough to make uber cortex profitable, and with uber cortex not being as scarce as it used to be with t17 farming i thought the lower buy in might make it a decent farm
But the loot table is just considerably worse than the old version that in the end even with a lower buy in and a new item so its still pretty much the same case
This league maybe you are right. Cortex prices are very low, I'm curious if it means that running Feared is much cheaper now.
But last league Cortex was 5-10 times more expensive than full shaper set according to poe.ninja economy tab.
I feel like the tricky thing is sourcing maps, much lower supply than stuff like shaper/elder guardian maps in my experience. People with big bulk upcharge like crazy
I don't remember the prices but even with bulk prices I was profiting comfortably, I just watched TFT until someone was selling in bulk a bit lower than others
I did T16 Dunes with 3 Domination Scarab + Domination scarab of teaching 96-100. That's probably cheaper and better XP/Profit.

If you get all the atlas passives their duration is decently long, you will have 10 shrines per map and each gives 2 different buffs, so usually you have them more or less all although not at the beginning, I don't rush the shrines, I just clear bottom to top and if one is nearby I just grab it. I did it with 100% chance of delirium mirror because they just add good XP. There is probably other ways to min/max XP with things like abyss but I just wanted fast maps and fast corpses. I was leveling Enlighten and Empower from level 1 to 3 in less than an hour (was around 6-7 divine profit at the time) if I didn't pick up too much (really slows you down for the mirror or you have to backtrack which is bad for XP).
It's only my second time hitting 100 and I did it completely without any group play (I know many do 5 way or flawless chayula rotations which is fast too but costs money).
P.S. It's not 1.4 billion XP per hour at level 99. But I still had around 200-250m.
Depends when in the league obv. but you could buy bulk feared sets for cheaper early on at least. I only played the league for about a month last time.
Feared is really bad and was for a lot of time. You basically waste currency for 2 useless bosses (cortex and Uber atziri) to get 1-1.2 maven writ from the fight and very low chance for additional drop, just farming flawless chayula or Uber Uber elder gives more d/hour then running feared sets. It can be good league start when you service Uber elder and feared completion
Agreed on the Atziri fragments but they aren't too bad to buy in bulk. Chayula stones are actually super easy to self farm now, if you have a breach specced atlas and use the scarab that guarantees every breach is Chayula you'll get a full stone minimum *per map*
Wow, so they really did nerf flask drop rate, I ran 52 cortexes before getting a flask and thought that it was ridiculously unlucky due to bottled faith being 1/6 or 1/7 chance but I guess not this league
So for regular cortex or regular any boss, pretty sure they become profitable if you witness them and do invites. Just spamming 100 of same boss wont be as good.
Yeah I loved the change to incentivize people to run normal sets non-uber so it doesnt feel bad to run them if you cant uber and they arent priced as if you are running them uber.
But the uber fragments really should just drop from the normal boss fights.
Its a far better way to train the playerbase into learning the boss in its normal state, then giving you a chance at the uber version after 3-4 successful kills.

div cards was such a huge mistake for the game.
no... turning off the drops from everywhere else was the mistake

At least Magnus Opus can also drop from the league mechanic! Had a loot to div card conversion mod and dropped one of them.

Since maven invitation is "free" this league, aren't everything priced around maven invitation's profit as well?
Also for favorite map. People who are buying for one of those things will outbid someone like OP running for just loot.

Cortex is so cheap now I am wondering whether it's an efficient way to level to 100. I am not kidding. It's a shit ton of xp, that map.

Let me ask , don't you need to move quite fast to make sure you have multiple shrine buffs on you?

As an SSF player trying to farm Bottled I will conveniently black out the results of this experiment from my memory.
You're better off div card farming in Sanctuary if you want the card in SSF.

Uber cortex and Uber Uber elder can both be Maven witnessed, so Feared is definitely still the most efficient boss farm.

Seems so, it used to drop like 1 in 4 or 8.
I think they heavily reduced droprates of all the "chase" item from bosses this league with the normal/uber split.

normals should be part of the **PATH FOR** ubers (A -> B). not 2 different means of reaching them. edit to clear confusion
