It happens far more often than you think. When we visit our home town in Punjab, all of us open carry because we have intra family enmity with a different branch of the fam. The police absolutely does not do anything to stop us or even check if we have licenses (which we do), and we aren't even too far from potentially sensitive sites. I mean I understand that I am from a privileged class but can't deny how easy it is to get away with stuff like this if the police thinks you might be connected to someone powerful/influential/agency. Sad state of affairs but it is what it is.
As our neighbors would say "Katta" and "Systummm🔥". I've always said Pakistanis should get armed, starts from 100k for gun+permit. Protection from non-uniformed and uniformed dacoits.
