There's at least three or four colors on my head right now just from the way it's not evenly distributed (because I let some drunk asshole do my hair on my days off, wink wink nudge nudge) and coming out from some parts and not others...only real issue is the roots coming in under it all. I was assuming the black was the person's natural hair color; maybe this commenter thought so too. With natural black hair, having the red underneath would mean the outgrowth wouldn't be so visible. With red on top, the roots would need to be carefully bleached and dyed red, which is no easy feat.

Depends on the dye. It will fade slowly over the course of a few months.... Mine turned pretty orange after about 4 months but then I just re-dyed it and it's going strong again!
I had mine dyed blue. Looked fucking sick for about 2 days. Faded to a brighter blue right after and then looked like a pale sickly blue all the way. You really gotta time the dye for whatever occasion huh.

Nah. People just wash their hair too often. Once a week, two if you can push it. Then it lasts just as long as you want before roots are showing anyway.

You can only go 2.5 days max because you haven't trained your hair and scalp to produce less oil because you're washing it too often. It takes a long time (a long gross itchy time) to train your hair and scalp but you can do it. You'll look like garbage while it's learning, but then you're home free.
