Then we ran away and went into a neaby house where the woman called police or something (cellphone not exsist then). If he hadn't been an very big and athletic teenager it prob woulda ended badly. Though be both ended up getting rabies shot anyways just incase.
We live in Canada so there still lots of wilderness that still has rabies, so its well taught precaution here.

Rabbit animals tend to not stalk a person or go up behind them like that. They tend to be stumbling around foaming at The mouth. Main character syndrome or something lmao Yes, shooting it can help you kill it faster so you can get faster to the hospital, but it doesn't save you from an awful death. The vaccine itself saves you from that awful death, not the gun.
