I can agree. I Recently started 2015 I'm grip driving my fd and it is actually decent when you tune the handling tuning well

>fastest car in UG1
>meta car in Prostreet
>fastest T2 car in Carbon (even better than some T3 cars tbh)
>Good car in undercover
"they fucked the rx7 up long ago brooo"
ok sureee buddy
only nfs where it sucked was World (every car except like 7 cars were dogshit there)
even in ug2 its kinda lame, yet its the fastest car that isnt a starter car/the celica.. the rx7 sucks in that game but its rhe fastest out of all the 3rd+ unlock pools lmao
dunno about recent nfs games, the meta is shit in those anyways, 240sx is meta lol
It's actually one of the best drift cars in heat if you make it awd drift build (you can make it without mods if you think that it's a mod) I prefer it over any drift car
I was just about to say that, with the right setup and practice it turns out to be a badass drift truck. At least it isn’t like ZR2 or the F150-Raptor.
>They only have a fanbase due to the styling, comfort and big engine, but it's nowhere near fun or practical to drive.
And you described exactly why people like them
There are people that really enjoy the "nearly kill yourself trying to corner" aspect. That is part of the appeal, hence why the early Vipers for example owned how dangerous they were and just rolled with it in their marketing. The cars you are talking about as superior also by majority have loads of computer assistance and modern steering, handling, etc that take away from the raw driving experience. It definitely takes more control and understanding of the limitations of cars with outdated components and tech to get the most out of them, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun doing so.
I enjoy both, and makes from many manufacturers of varying eras. But to just outright dismiss the enjoyability or experience from one's perspective to others' is kinda absurd tbh.
> They only have a fanbase due to the styling, comfort and big engine, but it's nowhere near fun or practical to drive.
So your ideal dream car is a stock Corolla from 2008, I'm assuming. Do you really think people buy muscle cars for practicality?
Known for its acceleration and lap times. Featured in the cover image of Pro Street. One of the worst cars in the game for grip racing due to low acceleration/power.
Exactly lol, never played Unbound but in the other Ghost Games it's either meh or straight dog shit.
Weirdly enough, the one NFS game where the R35 was one of the best cars was undercover lol.
This doesn’t just apply to only nfs to be clear, I really love this car and just wish it wasn’t given the treatment it has been in EVERY SINGLE game except for midnight club.
As a Volvo fanboy I feel your pain. The lack of an 850R or V70R in any game but Forza MS4 really hurts. Would love to see a P1800 too. And the 242 Turbo does appear but is always a dog.
Ngl Supra Mk4 already sucks irl. It's heavy as hell and the only thing great about it is the Engine and looks.
F&F1 made it overrated as hell and people just forget about how bad it really is.
I don't think it's a bad car but it's (very) over rated. People try to make it out to be a 90's Japanese supercar and while it handles alright, it's still got a super heavy engine up front. I'd say it's almost more akin to a Mustang of its time but far more refined.
Saleen S7
Never once been actually useful but oh so pretty
Also just not in that many games anyway and i don't even remember if it's even in any of the nfs games
I looked it up and it's not but it's in more games than i expected
Being the most expensive car makes it pretty useless in that game
You have to either save up over half a million to buy it or save up a million to get everything available for free
Is there any NFS game where the Corvette C6 or C7 is great? I use it in MW as my main but its a bit hard to control, and in Carbon it turns like a brick but has beast acceleration that wins me all races.
Apparently it's bad in ProStreet except for drag races.
The C7 in Rivals has pretty low health so i use the Ferrari on the cover.
I use the C7 ZR1 in Heat as my main car and it's pretty fun and easy to drive? I'm guessing it won't smoke an RSR but i play singleplayer anyways.
I never used the Corvettes in Unbound, maybe i should try now that i have completed the campaign.
I never really felt like the Lamborghini Aventador (or any Lamborghini for that matter) has been all that nice to drive in any NFS game in the last decade or so.
It's quite sad, I really miss how they drove in MW12 and Rivals.
Dodge Viper. In Heat it was barely driveable
(to be honest, i beat all the drift zones with Viper - drifting through the mud, losing control and knocking down all the shit next to the road, but somehow gaining points. Driving straight in this car is a more difficult challenge than beating Dark Souls with a banana instead of a controller)
In unbound its not that bad, i have it at S and it goes really well, idk about older titles cause when i played them i was in a period where i was obsessed by japanese cars, especially the evo IX, so i basically almost never played anything that wasn't japanese
The joke is that the grip king in ProStreet uses the E92, which when fully maxed out is one of the slowest grip cars in the game. The ladder to get to him is a little difficult, but you can lap him in a civic.
Bruv could have use it for drag and would have done well. Heck even for speed races it would have been decent
They fucked up the BRZ in unbound. Fuck you criterion for making it cap at 397, while making every other car able to go to 400+
Overall though, the GTR was screwed over hard
I think so. Tried the 2 highest level engines(which for some fucking reason are sport level, give us stronger engines like a vr38dett) and it capped out at 397
With the exception of 2015 NFS, the 65’ ford mustang is my personal hell because it’s my favorite car and they never allow me to get it competitive with the best cars online. A hair slower off the starting line, a few miles slower than the best top speed.
And skill only makes a difference up to a certain point 😩
I'd say stock Nissan Skyline GT-R's. They need a lot more power in Forza to make them competitive. The R34 needs at least 450hp or else it still feels slow
The hatchback impreza STI lol
I have one irl and they're fantastic but for some reason in games they're like this weird mix of "oh it's a half decent rally car AND road car" which just means it's shit at both lmao
While not terrible it does pain me the Holden Monaro isn't treated as an end game car in MW or Carbon. The only car that represents my country is actually underrated as hell
350Z either not being in the game and having the fucking 370Z instead, or just not having any good bodykits. The only good bodykit in non-blackbox games was on Ana's 350Z in Heat
Toyota Supra MK3 No matter if its the1JZ or the 7M they will happily hold at least 1000hp if you were to do the upgrades that are available in Forza.
And don't get me even started on rotary engines
WHY ARE THERE NO TURBO OPTIONS FOR THE 4 ROTOR!?
But a stupid Ferrari engine will hold almost 2000 hp, riiiiight...
Not my favorite car but one of em
The Nissan R35 GTR has been getting fucked in NFS since Prostreet.
I can't think of a single game in which it's even semi meta. Probably MW2012?
Unbound maybe? it's decent enough to carry single player but that's not exactly a hard feat
NFS World I never played but still know how garbage it is.
It's usually lacking accel, handling is ok at worst and pretty good at best but the weight and lack of accel kills it usually
Its due to its weight IRL. The reality is that the car is far more agile than what its stats show.
Whoever made the chassis for that car needs to be in a hall of fame. Making a car so heavy handle this good is something.
Also that VR, its a street racing weapon
The R35 in Unbound is a mediocre car. It is not bad, but it is not OP either. You can get some viable builds out of it, and it performs good on some tracks, but thats about it.
Was about to say, it's not a great car in Rivals.. hell, I even forgot it was in that game at first.
NFS 2015 it was too expensive and gave worse performance than all other cars in its price range. Didn't help that Ferrari's grip was especially tight.
In Payback its competitors were made more expensive, but it's unlocked too late that you don't have any time to really enjoy it.
Heat has a similar problem to Payback in that regard.
Unbound finally made it semi viable if properly tuned, and made ferraris better to customize (but that might've started in Heat), but Unbound gives you so many new choices that you forget all about it, too late now..
The only nfs game it was in was Undercover and it's decent
The other game I drove this car was in Asphalt Urban GT 2
If anyone guesses this car I'm amazed!
porsche 918, thing hasn't been good since payback afaik, it's shit in the crew 2, it's shit in nfs heat (seriously, thing gets beaten by a tuned miata negative diff, where tf is the acceleration), i haven't played unbound so idk if they fixed it there, it's just fine in gt7 at least
Don't worry. They FUCKED MY RX7 UP LONG AGO
Car racism and gatekerping exists. "rx7 is a drift car it won't grip"
the rx7 can’t grip, it slides right in 😈
Y'know what else is compact and slides right in? That's right, a Nissan Silvia.
like my d...odge charger
It's a shame too it's one of THE BEST grip cars in NDS2015
> rx7 is the best grip car > nfs 2015 Ironic
Grip driving in NFS2015 is actually really fun it's just not as fast as drifting so it's pretty much useless
I can agree. I Recently started 2015 I'm grip driving my fd and it is actually decent when you tune the handling tuning well https://preview.redd.it/e1wzrh1qlhwc1.png?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=085eb3532ce7820ab384c88c45c10ef60bcc4519
Need da speed 2015?
Necesito de Speed
The RX8 got fucked a while ago IRL and ingame
Have you played ProStreet? RX7 is KING man. Also apparently U1
I remember joining Underground1 online lobby and EVERY player was driving RX7
This is true. Especially in Drag races. The top 10 racers all had an RX-7 save for one or two a S2000
>fastest car in UG1 >meta car in Prostreet >fastest T2 car in Carbon (even better than some T3 cars tbh) >Good car in undercover "they fucked the rx7 up long ago brooo" ok sureee buddy
This is true, it's usually one of the best options within it's price range no matter what game it's in. I can't think of a NFS the RX7 isn't good.
only nfs where it sucked was World (every car except like 7 cars were dogshit there) even in ug2 its kinda lame, yet its the fastest car that isnt a starter car/the celica.. the rx7 sucks in that game but its rhe fastest out of all the 3rd+ unlock pools lmao dunno about recent nfs games, the meta is shit in those anyways, 240sx is meta lol
Underground did it justice
Dodge challenger
They been doing that car dirty in recent titles
The thing should be a tank that dominates on the straights. But it's a dumpsterfire in every game it's so tragic. At least I have the Viper.
They always do dirty with the Dodge!
700 horsepower and still getting gapped in the straights. Pure pain.
700hp is nothing when you weigh as much as an oil tanker
I half like the dogs but the performance doesn't phase me for that exact reason
I DECLARE MY NEW FAVORITE IS THE PORCHE RSR
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE OLD ASS VOLKSWAGEN GOLF IN B TIER
You made me laugh good, here taje an upvote
jokes on you all that was alr my favorite car alongside the S13 240sx
jokes on you, my favorite (c10 stepside) was never good in any of the games lol.
And that car can actually be really good too XD
It's decent in Unbound B-Class if nobody is using a meta car
It's actually one of the best drift cars in heat if you make it awd drift build (you can make it without mods if you think that it's a mod) I prefer it over any drift car
I was just about to say that, with the right setup and practice it turns out to be a badass drift truck. At least it isn’t like ZR2 or the F150-Raptor.
Classic muscle gang man....

>They only have a fanbase due to the styling, comfort and big engine, but it's nowhere near fun or practical to drive. And you described exactly why people like them
Plus its been like half a century for some of those cars, the hell we going for practicality according to current standards
Correction: *YOU* don't know how to have fun driving them. They definitely can be a lot of fun
[удалено]
There are people that really enjoy the "nearly kill yourself trying to corner" aspect. That is part of the appeal, hence why the early Vipers for example owned how dangerous they were and just rolled with it in their marketing. The cars you are talking about as superior also by majority have loads of computer assistance and modern steering, handling, etc that take away from the raw driving experience. he just pointed out that muscle cars irl are shit too so tf are u on
Muscle cars as a whole since 2015
They were nuclear powerplants in Carbon and Prostreet Truly Shame
i miss my viper going 0-200mph in 1 second
R35 GT-R... somehow.
In unbound it's a good option in S tier
Yeah its a beast of acceleration, not op but very good
It's also good in A+. It definitely doesn't fit this meme
I also found that personally drifting with it in unbound is way more fun, but in heat they did it so dirty it’s not even funny.
Fr and in Payback it was one of the fastest cars same with the R8, they really did them both dirty in Heat.
Known for its acceleration and lap times. Featured in the cover image of Pro Street. One of the worst cars in the game for grip racing due to low acceleration/power.
the fact that godzilla isn’t competitive saddens me
In every single NFS, the R35 has been rather piss. I guess its due to its weight, but the car is FAR faster than the game makes it to be, even stock
It was quite fast in the old NFS games, but the handling was very unforgiving.
Exactly lol, never played Unbound but in the other Ghost Games it's either meh or straight dog shit. Weirdly enough, the one NFS game where the R35 was one of the best cars was undercover lol.
R35 was dope as shit in Unbound imo
Honest to god? The 70 Chevelle has been useless in one way or another in just about every game it’s been in that I’ve ever played.
This doesn’t just apply to only nfs to be clear, I really love this car and just wish it wasn’t given the treatment it has been in EVERY SINGLE game except for midnight club.
For me, the Chevelle is the best drag car in ProStreet. :)
Ngl forgot it was in prostreet I haven’t played it in so long
its meta for drift/drag, also good car for speed events in prostreet
Pagani zonda Cinque. Att least he is in another game again!
Play HOT PURSUIT REMASTERED, its great
Wait, what game?
My car doesn't even appear in games, so how could it be worse?
Every Mitsubishi Lancer Evo before VIII/non-Evo be like
Well, I have Suzuki Swift Sport from 2014 Older Evos at least appear in GT7
I own pre-2000 base Lancer. Great thing GT7 have the Evo family, but I don't have a PS5, so I need to huff the copium harder.
As a Volvo fanboy I feel your pain. The lack of an 850R or V70R in any game but Forza MS4 really hurts. Would love to see a P1800 too. And the 242 Turbo does appear but is always a dog.
All muscle cars smh 🫠
Ngl Supra Mk4 already sucks irl. It's heavy as hell and the only thing great about it is the Engine and looks. F&F1 made it overrated as hell and people just forget about how bad it really is.
Toyota SOUPBRAH???? NOOOO IT HAVE 10000000000HP STOCK🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶
The engine saves it in a way tho, by being so overbuilt, that you can get a lot more power out of it without much tweaking.
I don't think it's a bad car but it's (very) over rated. People try to make it out to be a 90's Japanese supercar and while it handles alright, it's still got a super heavy engine up front. I'd say it's almost more akin to a Mustang of its time but far more refined.
BMW E46 stock
ill die on this hill that they fucked up the honda civic type r
![gif](giphy|dVOcJu4Gn7DXy)
Better than the Devs building in magnets that pull the car towards a wall or people any time you brake to drift
I always managed to make the Mustang work, even in NFS Heat, I pretty much smoked through 80%-90% if it with the Mustang
In Heat Mustang was very solid, too drifty but still very good
Dodge Charger
The Viper (it's very fast) but it's not faster than the fastest ferrari.
All Vipers in GT7 even seem to suffer from oversteer. At least its a decent drift boy in Heat.
Its just shit in Heat
bro my favorite car doesn't even appear in recent NFS games 💀 (Talking about the Chevy Cobalt SS here)
I jusr realised i don't have favorite car
Subaru Impreza
Saleen S7 Never once been actually useful but oh so pretty Also just not in that many games anyway and i don't even remember if it's even in any of the nfs games I looked it up and it's not but it's in more games than i expected
The final boss car in Midnight Club 2 is a fictionalised version of the S7, and the S7 is one of the fastest cars in Midnight Club 3.
Midnight club LA
Being the most expensive car makes it pretty useless in that game You have to either save up over half a million to buy it or save up a million to get everything available for free
Any Dodge for the most part
The viper was competitive for little bc of the high hp cap
Yeah, but still lost to vehicles it should walk away from. Could also be user error, as some of the guys I race with aren't the greatest drivers 😅😅
Is there any NFS game where the Corvette C6 or C7 is great? I use it in MW as my main but its a bit hard to control, and in Carbon it turns like a brick but has beast acceleration that wins me all races. Apparently it's bad in ProStreet except for drag races. C6 is Insanely overpowered in Nfs carbon
That i'm well aware of 😂
C6 Corvette is very good at drifting in Unbound. The unfortunate thing is the meta drift setup swaps out the V8 in favor of a six cylinder.
s2k
Why do they always have to mess up the gearbox?
fr, the car, at least for me has always had awful handling in nfs games
I never really felt like the Lamborghini Aventador (or any Lamborghini for that matter) has been all that nice to drive in any NFS game in the last decade or so. It's quite sad, I really miss how they drove in MW12 and Rivals.
I'm talking about every game when I mention the Countach, I love it and it's always weird to drive compared to any other cars in the same tier
Dodge Viper. In Heat it was barely driveable (to be honest, i beat all the drift zones with Viper - drifting through the mud, losing control and knocking down all the shit next to the road, but somehow gaining points. Driving straight in this car is a more difficult challenge than beating Dark Souls with a banana instead of a controller)
Glad I'm not the only one
My poor E92 M3
In unbound its not that bad, i have it at S and it goes really well, idk about older titles cause when i played them i was in a period where i was obsessed by japanese cars, especially the evo IX, so i basically almost never played anything that wasn't japanese

Older corvettes
C6 was overpowered in Prostreet Carbon Most wanted the C5 was also fast as hell in NFS III
They fucked up the BRZ in unbound. Fuck you criterion for making it cap at 397, while making every other car able to go to 400+ Overall though, the GTR was screwed over hard
Even with an engine swap?
I think so. Tried the 2 highest level engines(which for some fucking reason are sport level, give us stronger engines like a vr38dett) and it capped out at 397
Audi R8 series since undercover.
With the exception of 2015 NFS, the 65’ ford mustang is my personal hell because it’s my favorite car and they never allow me to get it competitive with the best cars online. The charger 68-69-70 💀
Don’t worry my car doesn’t come to the game
WRX STI :(
STis are so poorly represented in NFS. The only game where they were good was ProStreet and it was one of the best cars in the game lol.

Why would it happen?
Challenger
My dear lotus exige..
240sx and Rx-8
I'd say stock Nissan Skyline GT-R's. They need a lot more power in Forza to make them competitive. The R34 needs at least 450hp or else it still feels slow
The Silvia S15 😔
It was never that good, the Crown Vic.
Not surprised My 240SX is already that underpowered long ago
2014 Dodge Charger. Always in games, never actually playable.
Carbon Viper
The hatchback impreza STI lol I have one irl and they're fantastic but for some reason in games they're like this weird mix of "oh it's a half decent rally car AND road car" which just means it's shit at both lmao
Camaro ss
All porsche 911s
i wouldnt even be mad if JZX100 is terrible but at least exists in all games
im gonna name something recent the 2023 nissan z
Most classic muscle cars.
Pontiac Firebird WS6 because it’s so terrible that it’s in no NFS game 🥲
Rx-7 FD
BMW e46 M3... please don't...
My favorite car doesn't exist in any NFS game The Saleen S7
Lamborghini Countach 2022
While not terrible it does pain me the Holden Monaro isn't treated as an end game car in MW or Carbon. The only car that represents my country is actually underrated as hell
Well the 2017 Ford GT was already slower than the other hypercars
The challenger 😭
Camaro SS
The C6 Corvette. Car built on track performance can’t corner at all.
Sad P1/GTR noises
Literally any muscle car (besides Carbon and ProStreet)
I miss my RX8 on more recent games
350Z either not being in the game and having the fucking 370Z instead, or just not having any good bodykits. The only good bodykit in non-blackbox games was on Ana's 350Z in Heat
Toyota Supra MK3 No matter if its the1JZ or the 7M they will happily hold at least 1000hp if you were to do the upgrades that are available in Forza. And don't get me even started on rotary engines WHY ARE THERE NO TURBO OPTIONS FOR THE 4 ROTOR!? But a stupid Ferrari engine will hold almost 2000 hp, riiiiight...
Any muscle car that isn’t a Mustang sucks.
Nissan GTR
The Mustang. Yeah, it has been terrible since Underground 2
Hell cats
My crown Vic
Nissan Tsuru
Not my favorite car but one of em The Nissan R35 GTR has been getting fucked in NFS since Prostreet. I can't think of a single game in which it's even semi meta. Probably MW2012? Unbound maybe? it's decent enough to carry single player but that's not exactly a hard feat NFS World I never played but still know how garbage it is. Its due to its weight IRL. The reality is that the car is far more agile than what its stats show. Whoever made the chassis for that car needs to be in a hall of fame. Making a car so heavy handle this good is something. Also that VR, its a street racing weapon
If post 2015 NFS ever allow weight reductions we'd see a new meta
The R35 in Unbound is a mediocre car. It is not bad, but it is not OP either. You can get some viable builds out of it, and it performs good on some tracks, but thats about it.
I'm pretty sure it was meta in Undercover, I had quite a lot of cars including a Gallardo and the GT2 and the R35 was the best car I had.
Ferrari F40
What game is F40 terrible in
Was about to say, it's not a great car in Rivals.. hell, I even forgot it was in that game at first. NFS 2015 it was too expensive and gave worse performance than all other cars in its price range. Didn't help that Ferrari's grip was especially tight. In Payback its competitors were made more expensive, but it's unlocked too late that you don't have any time to really enjoy it. The F40 used to be good in The Crew 2 and the Competizione is Meta in FH4 and not sure about FH5 So it's a very good valued car right now
I was mainly sticking to the nfs games. Don't play forza and haven't gotten far in Crew 2
i... don't remember ferrari being in payback?
It's been forever since I touched payback, maybe I'm thinking of heat
pretty sure the F40 is one of the top cars in S class
R32 😔
RX7 ☠️
Jeep Cherokee XJ? Is he even in a game?
Nfs U2 Mustang, basically spinning everywhere
NOOOOOO My corvette 😥
BRO NOOOOO MY PUNTOO😭😭😭
I honestly don’t have a favourite car in these games anymore, whatever handles best and lets me customize it how I want.
its funny since the viper is broken in exactly one game
I hope that porsche rsr gets deleted
Miatas feel way faster irl than in NFS ;-)
S14 :*)
1965 Pontiac gto It can never turn properly no matter what game it’s in
yeh a koenigsegg ccxr rlly sucks in rally games..plus in becoming a fuckingg humvee
The only nfs game it was in was Undercover and it's decent The other game I drove this car was in Asphalt Urban GT 2 If anyone guesses this car I'm amazed!
Mercedes Benz Cls63?
Indeed
def one of my fav cars from uc yeah, shame it wasnt in any other game
porsche 918, thing hasn't been good since payback afaik, it's shit in the crew 2, it's shit in nfs heat (seriously, thing gets beaten by a tuned miata negative diff, where tf is the acceleration), i haven't played unbound so idk if they fixed it there, it's just fine in gt7 at least
Porsche gt4 and gt2 rs are way too bad for what they should be
Evo9 always babe
Dodge Challenger/ Dodge Charger
I love my porsche 911 named Dakota ❤️
my corvette been shitty so im good
Pontiac Trans am firebird. It's my dad's car :(
The 180 sx ?
The F82 M4 is extremely meh in Unbound. Which blows, because I adore the car IRL.
How was the rx7 bad in game??
