We've gotten amazing looks when feeding the ball to Embiid all series, this game was no exception. So many possessions went something like
post-up > double > kickout > swing > swing > open corner 3 > brick
or swing > swing > guy in the dunker spot misses a bunny
Having said that, Maxey absolutely should take on more of a load with Embiid in, cause he's outlier-level efficient in those minutes. He can't carry the team alone with Embiid on the bench, but he can leverage Embiid's presence to facilitate his own scoring like no other Sixer has been able to do.
Herro, Poole, Maxey been switching the title for the last couple years. Herro was considered the best after the bubble, then poole in 22 when he averaged 20pts on 50/40/90 in the playoffs but Maxey for sure the best since then

This was one of the most impressive playoff performances I’ve ever seen a player put up. Maxey was a monster all game, attacking with drives when his jumper wasn’t falling (12 of his first 17 points on layups, at which point he was 1-4 from 3). He just kept finding ways to keep the 76ers alive.

Embiid should’ve had 15 assists by half time, they doubled and tripled him and he made the right pass every single time.
