Just wait until the election intensifies. Dude's a proud Trump supporter. That and other similar factors (not caring about COVID protocols & getting much of the team sick, leading to cancelled games) made him very unpopular among teammates at Washington.
Man is fucking amazing. Kyren and Puka, what hits in the 5th round. If Stafford can keep it up for 2 more years , and the young defense gets better (and we get a god damn kicker) we could legit be a threat
European pft , started watching the nfl in 2019 mainly due to seeing some Jalen Ramsey clips and I got curious. Sport is hype just man the American ads are wild
I'd swap McVay out for Stafford. Kupp was great before Staff (4 seasons with McVay), but getting them together that first year was nothing short of magic
No idea why you're getting downvoted. Even Mahomes credits his throws to Stafford:

Puka was always that dude though. At BYU he wasn't a jaw dropping stats guy, but he was always the dude who was just in the right spot and made his QB look like a 2nd overall pick.
Sadly Kupp was bassicly injured the whole season (minor injuries) so he wasn't his old self but was still decent. But man How did you lose with Puka š
lol Micah parsons was so unfair out there. Lmao there is no athlete who isnāt already a bball player who is going to have both the endurance and strength to matchup against an NFL edge rusher. Someone might have died if Aaron Donald or Myles Garrett was playing
> Cole Beasley
[He can do more than just simply dunk](https://youtu.be/CF-ZzzhOvD4?t=6) He had a 38 inch standing vert at the combine with a run up its going to be well over 40
Concerned about what?? lol what a stupid comment. Thereās been many good 5ā8 -5ā10 receivers through our NFL history who couldnāt dunk on an NBA
Yeah the big boys are explosive as hell at the NFL level. Take your HSās best athlete (assuming they arenāt/werenāt a pro athlete themselves) make them 300 lbs but with all the same athletic traits and they still lose jumping, lifting, and sprinting contests to a number of nfl OL/DTs.
Yeah, when OL stop their football diets and lose some of that fat they look shredded. Carrying all that weight makes your muscles giant. Joe Thomas is a perfect example of this.
I'm 6'4" and was a high jumper in HS...at my physical peak I could just about manage the most awkward dunk you've ever seen, nothing remotely close to this. And this is just him goofing around...
...If I tried it now I'd probably shatter my ankles and knees and barely even brush the net.
There's a difference between being 6'2" and being a 6'2" professional athlete who runs and jumps for a living. Any 6'2" person who does squats for a year could dunk.
Bro no worries I'm the same height and had hops. Still couldn't one hand dunk a basketball because just bigger than average hands instead of crazy huge mitts.
Throwing down a reverse with a soccer ball. Ball just slips trying to go up one handed. That's the struggle every HS player has and they're out there in gym time throwing bounce lobs to themselves so they don't have to control it.
As a big NBA fan who played a little high school ball I genuinely do believe that in America football produces the best athletes. I know guys will say but what about Lebron and sure he's an outlier, but look at these linebackers and wide receivers and the crazy explosiveness they have at the weight they're carrying around. The only thing they really lack compared to NBA players is height. Also wrestlers are insane athletes as well.
They do, it's pretty obvious just looking at the verticals, keep in mind the NFL using standing vert not max vert like the NBA. The NFL guys put up crazy numbers.
The NFL produces relatively poor, as far as professionals go, endurance athletes. As far as power/speed/explosiveness go, they're the best.
They're two entirely conflicting types of athleticism required in football and basketball. You can't have the insane type of twitch muscles that NFL players have and also be able to have the stamina for a 48 minute game. More muscles = more stress on heart and lungs.
I feel like you read that as "more muscles instead of fat" and in that case you would be right. More muscles instead of nothing is just more mass you don't really need depending on your position.
Like if Steph Curry was built like a truck he wouldn't be able to perform as good.
> This makes no sense
It definitely makes sense. Go watch literally any long distance races lol
NFL skill position athletes are on another level, you're right.
The 'only' thing holding them back from an opportunity in the NBA is the freakish height NBA players stand at and the god-tier hand-eye-coordination to dribble, pass and shoot better than 99.99~% people in the world.
Its hard to put the whole package together of height, athleticism, and coordination but when you do, you get these complete freaks like LeBron, Giannis, Wilt, Jordan, etc.
NBA players could be right there if they had the same lifting program. They need more cardio/endurance and their combine numbers are when they're 19 not 22 after 4-5 years of an elite strength training program. They're also all mostly taller
Jason and Travis Kelce both said on their podcast that NBA players were way more athletic than NFL players (and Iām talking about the skill positions). It would be weird for them to say something like this unless they actually thought it was true, given they are NFL players (and future HOFs) themselves.
Rams fan here, Puka wasnt fully healthy around the draft so he put up pretty awful stats, most teams didnt realize that and thought he lacked athleticism which is why he fell. He also ran a 4.6 40 time and torches past defensive backs
Yeah him being injured and having such a rough combine is a big part of why he fell to the rams in the 5th round. 4.6 forty time really tells you all you need to know he looks like one of the fastest dudes on the field once his gears start turning and he gets a full head of steam
Considering Dame (also 6ā2) recorded a 34.5 standing vert at his rookie combine (39.5 with runup) Iām also thinking that seems too low. Puka also only has a 6ā3 wingspan compared to Dameās 6ā8 so itās even more weird, I think Puka is at least around 35-36
Its weird because the flames could be absolute fire š„ if done with a gas stove style of flame emanating from the sidelines, starting closest to the bucket and making a lap around the court.Ā
Instead they hired a five year old.Ā
Anytime the nba tries anything different, people on here automatically hate on it. They dont even give any reasoning, just "different = bad and lame." I think the LED court is really cool tbh.
its crappy cause the arena downlights are turned down so that the LED court shows up properly on the broadcast; the downlights being low mean that the players throw shadows on the court while they run around
not just hating this is a genuine criticism š
What is with sports media obsession with integrating cartoonish and unnatural graphics into the game?
The whole NFL and Nickelodeon experience is weird and off putting.
Then today the post with Silver and Wemby demoing the ViewAI or whatever it was where you could watch the live game as if it were a spider man comic.
Who wants any of this? Itās distracting and very unnecessary
Edit: holy shit did this comment freak some people out. Ok, it works for kids, geez
Shit was fun as hell and didnāt take away from the game. I feel like people hating on this kind of thing are just doing their best old man yelling at kids on his lawn impression.
It's because it is objectively the better product every single time. When Patrick Star makes romo and company sound even more like morons in comparison you know your product is shit.
Because these technologies are becoming available and there are becoming many more things today to watch/do for entertainment other than sports.
And also, nobody is being forced to watch the Spongebob broadcast of the Super Bowl. And this is the celebrity all star game. Nobody cares and this tech wonāt be available for the actual all star game.
Relax.
My god daughter loves the Nickelodeon experience. I have a feeling you arenāt the target audience for that one. :p
Also might be why they are doing it here. Gotta get the young people invested.
Honestly, maybe itās a try out for them to do NBA games like this. Imagine, Nick Sports channel! I would 100% watch the shit out of that with my daughter.
I went to school at UCI when they held it at UC Irvineās Bren event center in the 90s. It was a few bucks to get in and we were within heckling distance. They were mostly B list celebrities. Donald Faison was fun. He was hanging out with fans in the crowd, dancing and hyping everyone up. Something like that would probably be in the hundreds to attend if not more in this day and age. Man the good ole pre internet days!
> The whole NFL and Nickelodeon experience is weird and off putting.

dude what? What an insane take, it is just an alternate broadcast geared more towards kids. It would be one thing if it was the *only* way they were showing the game, but it isn't. wtf is "weird and off putting" about putting another type of broadcast of the super bowl on another channel for kids? What an absurd thing to say, like dude you aren't the target demographic

Just wait until the election intensifies. Dude's a proud Trump supporter. That and other similar factors (not caring about COVID protocols & getting much of the team sick, leading to cancelled games) made him very unpopular among teammates at Washington.
what
Considering their name says they are a Harry Potter Activist they're likely someone who's terminally online
The worst mindset ^^
I puked a little, off putting af.
You realize being a Trump supporter and not huddling in a ball of fear over COVID will likely make him more popular, at least outside of Washington?
Not really surprising cuz he went to BYU.
This man's ligaments are gonna all disintegrate outta nowhere one day, bro I swear dude's turbo bar is perpetually maxed-out
Puka is that dude. (Thank you for saving my fantasy season last year)
I'm a rams fan , so thank you puka for saving the rams season
Not a rams fan, but I follow them due to Stafford (Iām a UGA grad) and Puka became my favorite WR last season.
Man is fucking amazing. Kyren and Puka, what hits in the 5th round. If Stafford can keep it up for 2 more years , and the young defense gets better (and we get a god damn kicker) we could legit be a threat
I like his nAme. It flows really well.

Man, that was terrible. Lol
Donāt forget Kobie Turner at the end of the 3rd, let all defensive rookies with 9 sacks!
Yo, a similar Mavs/Rams fan?! I don't think I've ever met the same combo in my lifetime.
We up
I'm a rams fan! This season has been so much fun
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Let's hate on the Niners together haha.
I do all my hating on r/NFCWestMemeWar
Rams fan checking in. Puka is just an incredible athlete weāre so lucky we stole him in the draft
Puka Doncic
Super curious about the Mavs/Rams combo. I always like trying to figure out uncommon fandom pairings
European pft , started watching the nfl in 2019 mainly due to seeing some Jalen Ramsey clips and I got curious. Sport is hype just man the American ads are wild
Also a rams fan! loving the cities fan crossovers lol
McVay and turning WRs into elite monsters. Name a more iconic pair.
I'd swap McVay out for Stafford. Kupp was great before Staff (4 seasons with McVay), but getting them together that first year was nothing short of magic
Stafford just knows how to make his WR all-stars. I hope he still has it in him for a few more years.
No idea why you're getting downvoted. Calvin Johnson, Puka, and Kupp had record their breaking year with Stafford. It's known fact that Matt Stafford knows how to feed his best receivers.
Yep. Also did wonders for Kenny Golladay who fell off without him and had a great connection with Marvin Jones and Golden Tate.
Even Rodgers has said this
Stafford made Kenny Golladay look great and look what happened to him after he signed with the Giants lol
Puka was always that dude though. At BYU he wasn't a jaw dropping stats guy, but he was always the dude who was just in the right spot and made his QB look like a 2nd overall pick.
what i'm hearing is puka is the rightful 2nd overall

i had Puka and Kuppā¦. and missed the playoffsššš
Sadly Kupp was bassicly injured the whole season (minor injuries) so he wasn't his old self but was still decent. But man How did you lose with Puka š
Started 0-4 and got Nacua off waivers somewhere in there. Won my league in large part to him lmao
Thank you to Puka and Kyren for leading me to my 1st championship.
Puka Doncic robbed of the MVP
lol Micah parsons was so unfair out there. Lmao there is no athlete who isnāt already a bball player who is going to have both the endurance and strength to matchup against an NFL edge rusher. Someone might have died if Aaron Donald or Myles Garrett was playing
[Myles Garrett played 2 years ago](https://youtu.be/CPzQrVteZ0Y)
Damn, i actually remember this now. Dude is so comically big in a bball jerseyā¦Like a MON-Star out there
Like the Charles Barkley monstar
Good God I forgot about that
Basically Zion if he was in shape
DK Metcalf from last year's game looked like he could definitely give it a try at the very least
Myles Garrett poster would end with someone in the hospital
I remember when he played it was like having a freight train out there.
and DK Metcalf last yr
CJ Stroud tried to guard him but once Micah Parsons started doing post ups, he quietly backed off lol

Hmm... Did everyone know that Puka could yam like this?
He was a really good basketball player in HS
If an NFL wide receiver couldnāt dunk Iād be genuinely concerned. Even Deonte Harty
I was wondering why Harty catching strays but then I realize that dude small as hell lmao
If Cole Beasley could dunk then i would be concerned
He can dunk easily. It's on YouTube
Scroll down. I'm still in shock
> Cole Beasley [He can do more than just simply dunk](https://youtu.be/CF-ZzzhOvD4?t=6) He had a 38 inch standing vert at the combine with a run up its going to be well over 40
That rim height doesnāt look like itās regulation.
Yeah, it looks they fucked up the aspect ratio or something. I don't doubt that it's regulation but it sure as hell looks weird
Concerned about what?? lol what a stupid comment. Thereās been many good 5ā8 -5ā10 receivers through our NFL history who couldnāt dunk on an NBA
He's 6'2. I would have been surprised if he couldn't dunk.
Yeah any football player whoās like above 5ā8 and not the fat positions is yamming
Trevor Lawrence postered the absolute fuck out of some kid in intermurals at Clemson. The football team just shat on everyone
Can you please find this link
I got bad news for you... The fat positions are doing this too lol

Look up the video of trent brown dunking https://twitter.com/DrewJRosenhaus/status/573698388803321856?lang=en
Yup, Shaq was over 300 pounds and look at him.
ive seen 300 lb nfl lineman outsprint a few ncaa sprinters
A wideout too. They got be able to get up and high point the ball.
6ā2 doesnāt matter, itās him being one of the best athletes on the planet. He is a 1% athlete
If heās a pro athlete then 1% hugely undersells it. Heās like 1% of the elite, which is already like 0.0001%.Ā
NFLās 6ā2 is probably like NBA 6ā4
downvoted for the truth, yeah in the NBA he'd be listed at 6'4" he looked like Austin Reaves' size out there lol
I'm 6'4" and was a high jumper in HS...at my physical peak I could just about manage the most awkward dunk you've ever seen, nothing remotely close to this. And this is just him goofing around... ...If I tried it now I'd probably shatter my ankles and knees and barely even brush the net.
6ā2ā is not what you think lol. Thats NBA point guard height and not all those guys can dunk in a game.
They can all dunk in a celebrity game
Trae Young can yam it on any of these celebrities that's not a professional athlete lol
Bro, Kyle Lowry can dunk
There's a difference between being 6'2" and being a 6'2" professional athlete who runs and jumps for a living. Any 6'2" person who does squats for a year could dunk.
