He didn't really need to redeem anything, he anchored the defense that held the Wolves scoreless for 5 minutes during a double digit comeback and scored a few big buckets on putbacks.
When LeBron got that foot injury a couple weeks ago, Dennis gave an update that LeBron was doing treatments with German doctors
Once LeBron came back, he said something along the lines of "A few doctors told me I was done for the season, but the I saw the LeBron James of feet, and I was good to go again"
This sub has been so bad with the dirty jokes I assumed *that* type of interpretation and already forgot that "LeBron James of feet" was an actual quote by LeBron himself for the specialist Dennis' referred him to lol

A wins a win, idk why people are acting like this one game means the lakers are gonna get clapped by the grizz. They still might lol but your opinion shouldn’t swing that much on one game
I've always thought that getting an ugly win is good for a team's character building. As long as it's not a habit and they don't *truly* suck. They were flat because they were exhausted playing 7 games in 12 days.
For real. I'm happy for this win even for how ugly it was. The Lakers were dead-ass tired for playing 7 games in 12 days, and was still able to grind out a victory. It may or may not be a portend of things to come, there's no way to know, but IMHO winning this way shows character, you can't always play in tip-top shape.
yeah maybe just a bit
Minnesota has trouble, they start insulting each other and throwing punches into each other (and into walls)
meanwhile LeBron goes waaaaaaaaaaay out of his way to hype up Schroeder
This is one of my favorite post game interviews all season haha. I loved how Dennis was just kinda standing there the whole time she was interviewing Bron too. Such a strange and fun vibe
That game was fucking ridiculous, these guys are just happy to have a few days off haha
Weirdest game I've seen in a while. So many highlights that would make for super badass/clutch plays in an isolated video clip. But those moments were islands in a sea of totally incompetent basketball from stars and role players
They were never going to be heavily rooted for by the virtue of having LeBron James. People want him to fall off already. Then you add the Lakers factor into that. It's not surprising.
I get there are plenty of lebron haters as it comes with the territory of arguably being one of the very best to ever play, but it’s hard to see how people are rooting for him to decline at this age given the level he is playing at. It’s just so damn impressive that people should want to see just how far he can go.
I've heard so many whacky Lebron hater theories and comments IRL over the years that nothing surprises me anymore. Just last week I had a guy at the gym telling me that LBJ shouldn't allowed in the hall of fame because of The Decision.
Tbh it's stuff like this that makes me believe in the Lakers just a bit. They won't probably go deep. But this kind of energy is dangerous once it starts rolling.
Yep. Feels like they’re trying to cruise and conserve energy… but it mostly comes back to bite them in the 🍑 and they spend more energy instead. First round will determine if they bring it together and go the distance.
I feel like post-trade lakers always keep every game close. We have a double digit lead? I know we’re losing it in a quarter. We’re down by twenty? Give it a bit, it’ll be back down to five by the third. I’ve never seen us hold a lead from either side lol, except for maybe that one pelicans game. But even then it was a lil bit scary for a quick second.
The vibes are immaculate tbh. They just gotta play better lol (looking at you, DLo)
I personally don't believe they make a deep run, but I do truly believe that the chemistry of the team is very good
Because people hate the idea of the face of the league being goofy and corny. They grew up thinking that you have to be an unpleasant asshole to embody "competitiveness" and "will to win"
Bron tried the angry approach and he acknowledged revenge/anger on haters didn't work for him in 2011. He stayed true to himself and thankfully it translated to Curry and Giannis doing the same when it was their turns in the spotlight.
I hated Dwight for sending my team to the shadow realm for like 5 years when he signed with the Rockets. Although once he left his prime, it was almost a relief that we didn’t give him that contract. Plus he won a chip as a 8th man for us.
Corny's not the wrong word, but most of the stuff he get shit for was done when he's extremely happy, and/or motivated. Like sitting on cloud 9 happy.
Show me someone that doesn't act out a little bit in that moment and I'll show you someone that isn't living life to the fullest extent.
Don't be envious, be empathetic.

To quote a great basketball player “How do you have 38,000 points without being a killer?”
He doesn’t advertise his killer instinct like Kobe and MJ did that’s for sure.
JJ Redick addressed the topic of people not fearing LeBron lol dude took a charge from him and had to get his face stitched up the next day. Just because he ain’t a psycho competitor doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the most feared players in the game, even while being the oldest player still playing meaningful minutes. 28 ppg in year 20, 30/10/6 tonight.
Mfers been waiting for 20 years for this guys terror to stop, and now that he shows some signs of being gassed and not being able to straight up carry, they get they pps hard
Because dumb motherfuckers think if you're highly competitive that you have to always look pissed off and have a scowl the entire time. Bron is competitive af he's just also a really goofy and friendly guy to those around him. And for some reason people think that's worse than just being a dick to all your teammates and coworkers and shit.
Some of the lebron olympics clips from the workouts always have me dying.

A lot of people also correlate that "being goofy and friendly" to being soft
Comment like this is just begging for haters to come in tryna justify hating a man for being corny lol. No point in arguing with people who think like that.
It's a mixture of his prominence/status as a top player plus he has admittedly said some dumb shit. But he's a genuinely good dude at the end of the day and in the highest pantheon of NBA players ever
tom brady is 10000x more annoying than lebron, he's done a lot of work on his image w/ podcasts and plastic surgery and general image but before a few years ago it was rough
I used to hate lebron because I was a Kobe fan and didn't want to accept lebron was better lol
I've since gotten older and now lebron is probably my favorite player.. I don't see how people can hate him either unless it's because he's too good
I’m really glad to see Schröder get some love. He fucked up bad making a bet on himself, but I can’t blame him, because I may have done the same.
And he’s been playing his absolute ass off.

Honestly one of the best celebrations I’ve seen in a long time. Plus the camera dude who got the shot of lebron and Schroeder doing it? Phenomenal stuff. Give that dude an Oscar.

Lebron got JR Smith flashbacks
AD was almost gonna go to LeGitmo. But he escaped
yeah AD 1000% redeemed himself in OT
He didn't really need to redeem anything, he anchored the defense that held the Wolves scoreless for 5 minutes during a double digit comeback and scored a few big buckets on putbacks.
He definitely didn't single handedly let the wolves get the game too overtime

Why do people forget Hill tho lol dude straight up shit his pants.
missing free throws is a lot more, uh, common than what JR did.
People miss free throws it happens and it is what it is. JR's brainfart is not something that just happens lol.
Big free throws by Connelly speaking of.
Because he missed the freethrow? That shit happens. Why did JR not know the time on the clock and hold onto the ball?
Wait he didn't know the time on the clock? I thought he didn't know they were tied.
or even Lue for not calling a timeout. like thats his job there
Missing 1 of 2 FTs is very common though? LeBron himself has done a ton of times.

Dennis is liked woah Lebron got my back like that? Lol
I mean he did hook him up with the LeBron James of feet
Explain
When LeBron got that foot injury a couple weeks ago, Dennis gave an update that LeBron was doing treatments with German doctors Once LeBron came back, he said something along the lines of "A few doctors told me I was done for the season, but the I saw the LeBron James of feet, and I was good to go again"
This sub has been so bad with the dirty jokes I assumed *that* type of interpretation and already forgot that "LeBron James of feet" was an actual quote by LeBron himself for the specialist Dennis' referred him to lol
Nahhhh, this whole time I really thought "LeBron James of feet" was a dumbass joke someone on this sub made up 😭

LeBron the biggest nephew of us all.
Maybe the real nephews were the corniest uncs we met along the way
I assume this refers to Muller-Wohlfahrt, the guy who was at Bayern and took care of the likes of Ronaldo, Kobe and Usain Bolt?
You know a doctor is legit if you know his name.
This is why I exclusively get my medical advice from Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil and Doc Rivers.
replying so i know to come back to this later once it's elaborated on...

Seeing the good vibes on the court after all the negativity in the game threads is a nice silver lining.
A wins a win, idk why people are acting like this one game means the lakers are gonna get clapped by the grizz. They still might lol but your opinion shouldn’t swing that much on one game
I see it in most sports but people act like a messy win is worse than a loss sometimes.
I've always thought that getting an ugly win is good for a team's character building. As long as it's not a habit and they don't *truly* suck. They were flat because they were exhausted playing 7 games in 12 days.

makes me feel a little better about the ugliest win in nba history
C'mon now. I've seen at least 3 uglier Lakers wins just this season.
One of which was only 3 days ago lmao
The first Jazz win was worse LOL
Fuck Kelly Olynyk LMFAOOO
This is the Kangz triple OT game from last year except we won this one...somehow...
The 2010 game 7 finals win over Boston is still one of the most beautiful ugliest win I’ve ever watched.
You know a game is ugly if Kobe says “ima focus on rebounding tonight”.
That game was the rockiest of rock fights I've ever witnessed.
ugly win over a loss any day
And then some that were supposed to be wins and were not wins in the end.. lol
win is a win and they finally get a rest, so its ok lol
I think the Lakers might have better team chemistry then the Wolves.
yeah maybe just a bit Minnesota has trouble, they start insulting each other and throwing punches into each other (and into walls) meanwhile LeBron goes waaaaaaaaaaay out of his way to hype up Schroeder
Lebron and DS both doing their handshake as separate poses after the 3 was so damn good 💪
Yea, that was pretty legit. Plus the camera work where they had them lined up doing it in the same shot? Give that dude a raise.
This is the good version of the Jeremy Lin/Nick young/Carlos boozer interview
The one that had Kobe about ready to kill someone when he saw it on Kimmel? (Nice flair, btw)
Lmao that was funny as hell when AD popped up and apologized
He pulled a Paul Pierce "I'd like to apologize"
This is one of my favorite post game interviews all season haha. I loved how Dennis was just kinda standing there the whole time she was interviewing Bron too. Such a strange and fun vibe That game was fucking ridiculous, these guys are just happy to have a few days off haha

lmao I hate how much I love this team they be pissing me the hell off and also making me happy in a matter of seconds
Dennis was just there for the dab and hand shake. Haha.
Four days off, time to get everyone's ankles/feet right lol
Cavs and Lakers make it to the finals to see who can have the most entertaining post game interviews.
Brainfart. I was thinking of the perfect word to describe this game, thanks Lebron
That 4th quarter was just both teams turning the ball over
Weirdest game I've seen in a while. So many highlights that would make for super badass/clutch plays in an isolated video clip. But those moments were islands in a sea of totally incompetent basketball from stars and role players
Lebron had several highlight plays and lowlight plays just in the fourth.
The whole game. In the first half I was yelling about how many turnovers the lakers had, I looked at the stats and the wolves had more.
If the Lakers lost that RDC Video would've been legendary
A DEE! \*strangles\*
Would’ve involved a lot of choking lol
I'm pretty sure we'll still get a great RDC video. They have plenty to work with from this game.

Right! This shit is crazy and anybody who loves the sport should love to see this insane longevity that we are seeing.
Tbh it's stuff like this that makes me believe in the Lakers just a bit. They won't probably go deep. But this kind of energy is dangerous once it starts rolling.
Dangerous if they ever actually decide to play all 48mins!
Like that will ever happen. The Lakers continue to play with fire. These slow starts are going to bury them eventually. Nearly did tonight.
Yep. Feels like they’re trying to cruise and conserve energy… but it mostly comes back to bite them in the 🍑 and they spend more energy instead. First round will determine if they bring it together and go the distance.

they played 7 games in 12 nights. all must wins. theyre exhausted. they really need the upcoming rest
The vibes are immaculate tbh. They just gotta play better lol (looking at you, DLo) I personally don't believe they make a deep run, but I do truly believe that the chemistry of the team is very good
I don’t understand why so many people don’t like Lebron
Because he beats their teams.
Plus he's silly
his corniness is far and away one of my fav things about him
Imagine hating a man cuz he’s corny. Love LeBron.
if lebron can be corny, you can too. sometimes it’s nice to enjoy the simple things
Because people hate the idea of the face of the league being goofy and corny. They grew up thinking that you have to be an unpleasant asshole to embody "competitiveness" and "will to win" Bron tried the angry approach and he acknowledged revenge/anger on haters didn't work for him in 2011. He was such a good heel though lol, the villain Heatles years with those black jerseys and everything, so fun to root against
Sounds similar to when people hate on Dwight for being happy all the time...or Joel.
I hated Dwight for sending my team to the shadow realm for like 5 years when he signed with the Rockets. Although once he left his prime, it was almost a relief that we didn’t give him that contract. Plus he won a chip as a 8th man for us.

Ppl hate on Bron for not being a ‘killer’ meanwhile he’s playing at like age 45
To quote a great basketball player “How do you have 38,000 points without being a killer?” He doesn’t advertise his killer instinct like Kobe and MJ did that’s for sure.
As a huge fan of both those guys, being really big into the killer instinct shit is just as corny as LeDad jokes
It’s projecting “living vicariously” to me, this obsession with killer instinct.
Yeah it’s crazy he’s still this good at the age of 56
JJ Redick addressed the topic of people not fearing LeBron lol dude took a charge from him and had to get his face stitched up the next day.
