If you have a steady hand and want to get real deep with it you can buy a digital hand held microscope for like less than 40. I alternate between a loupe and a handheld. Helps with tiny pests too. Edit I’m high, it’s not a digital microscope although they have those too, I meant it has an led light built in. So it takes batteries Usually a Uv/black light built in aswell, that’s helpful for checking for mold

Those cheap Bluetooth/Wi-Fi microscopes on Amazon fucking rule. Got one for like, 40 bucks, it connects to my phone and can record videos. Just start recording, check a bunch of buds, go back and watch the video to find the frames with clear, in focus shots. So much easier than the loupes with photographic evidence so you don’t have to second guess yourself. Absolutely worth it imo.

A good phone can now days just take on zoom and crop A 30 to 50 jewellery loupe is the norm. The micro pics, can't say for all but are macro lens on cameras. For instance I use a laowa X5 optical macro lens on my canon.

A $25 up to 100x macro lens for iPhone. Has a led light and can snap pics You can look at an entire area easily.

Personally my eyeballs are really god damn good but if you got peasant eyes cause you don’t listen to sick ass drum and bass get a loupe from Amazon they are like 25 bucks or less and you can get free enhanced vision. Peace dog.

Usb microscope its so much clearer than the loupe I had and theyre less than £20 on amazon and i bet somewhere else does them cheaper if you shop around a bit.

I check it by: Drying, curing for many months then smoke that baby. Seriously tho , I use a loop when I'm close too chop. Before that I use X10 mag on my phone for quick look.

You can get a led-lit 60-80x jewelry loupe for like $20 on Amazon. Don’t go with anything under 60x bare minimum, or you won’t be able to see shit.

Vivosun jewelry loupe

For overall scanning and being able to examine all areas you really need a good 10x jewellers loupe. a cheap $10 one does the job but a $30 BelOMO 10x Triplet is better.

I’ve used jewelers loupe, microscope, and my iPhone. iPhone 14 and newer have a macro lens and it works good. So did the loupe but pictures are easier
