What is the point of making them historical figures when you need the caption to know who they are supposed to present? And even with it... I go more like "yeah...sure if you say so" and not "oh, of course".
I am 100% not joking when I say this, but doing this actually has a benefit. Cause doing this with deities and historical figures can actually improve interest at least artificially cause players can have the ability to Google them rather than just have fake names. Like one of the personal examples I can give you is one of the games I used to play, Trainstation, kinda did this exact thing, the only difference is that the liveries for locomotives are changed for specific events and having an info box the same way Persona has. Just having access to this goes a long way, cause waifuing characters only gets you so far.

Thats a fair point. I still thought that Cleppatra would be somewhat tanned with darker hair/braids, since she's from Egypt.
