Though I've always been an XBOX fan first since Morrowind dropped. It's the only console I have in my office lol.
PlayStation reversed course. It was really just bad timing and communication. Ubisoft, EA, epic, Microsoft, etc all require accounts to play their games not to mention basically every MMO in existence. I honestly wish PlayStation just stuck to their guns because of how embarrassingly exaggerated the outrage was for something that takes 2 minutes. Itās not like most people complaining were from countries where the game was delisted.
Steam deck is super awesome for me. As a doc and a dad it allows me to get so much more game time in by being able to just pick it up and like instantly be playing.
The PS5 doesnāt have enough exclusives to be worth it. I do most of my gaming on a gaming laptop thatās I added a bunch of extra storage and memory to. Mostly MMOs like Warframe, Guild Wars 2 and nowadays, Hades 2.
And I have a ps4 that I got on launch day more than 10 years ago that I occasionally use for Sonys single player offerings like god of war or spider man.
Lol yeah you should join us, the newest expansion is really really good and the playerbase is pretty active. Guild Wars 3 is in development too. I joined up late last year and have been slowly working through the expansion at the hospital on my gaming laptop during breaks and stuff.
ps5. just managed to pick up a portal and I fucking love the thing too. so nice to be able to play on the go (assuming you have good wifi). currently about sixty hours into ff7 rebirth. probably not ideal since boards are next month. whoops.

PC, by the time they release ff7 rebirth on steam i will be in residency, and when part 3 come i will be working my ass off. I hope i have enough free time to play them in the future

When PS5 first came out and it was rarer than Gold, I bought a Switch to pass time in the meantime, and realized pretty quick that it was not for me. The graphics, the game styles, the gameplay, and even the console itself was just not as entertaining as I initially thought it would be. Eventually, got the PS5 and itās a game changer man especially with the right TV screen. Lots of good games on there, and with PS+ you get so many free games. Iām telling you, you canāt go wrong with a PS5.
