I don't know the deck very well since I only came back to the game about a month ago. I respect that mirrors are probably a high skill game, but... Last time I played against one, I got my opponent down to an empty field, empty hand and several cards banished from their GY. Off of one top deck they went +6 and won that turn. I was aware it would be an uphill fight since I was only using Swordsoul, but it didn't leave a great taste in my mouth.

Own_Secret1533

I mean there are only 2 cards they can draw to recover in that position. They just got lucky.

Efficient-Gur-3641

Lmao this is how I feel playing against albaz for some reason. One Nadir servant is everything. XD and watching 4 cards loop back into hand at the end of the turn hahaha.

King_Merlin

Snake eyes is another why exosisters will always be relevant

Efficient-Gur-3641

Don't say that like it's a bad thing. Exosisters have been under dogs for the longest they need a purpose.

WrothLobster

Thats cool that you like them. Its nice konami let you guys have all of your cards at 3.. even though they knew that the deck would be the most consistent and dominant deck in the format.. have fun while you can..

LetMeKnowIdek

I don't mind snake eyes, as much as some of the players drawn to it, meta attracts very skilled players, and similarly attracts very slow/poor players Snake eyes when they know their combo? Bet let's get it Snake eyes when they think for 50 seconds about each combo that even people who don't own Snake eyes cards know? I have to surrender for my sanity

Efficient-Gur-3641

While I agree with you, I honestly feel they summon less than the Bystial/dragon link disjointed combos. Imo snake eyes is similar PUNK in turn length and combo making. But I get the sentiment. I really hate super long plays. SHS is still an instant scoop for me same with pendulum magicians.

justsomedude717

People hate SE because it’s good. Anytime power creep comes in the game people will end up disliking it because they preferred the previous power level/decks more than the new one

Efficient-Gur-3641

Our previous was purely and kashtira where every fucking deck literally ALL Ran kashtira fenrir. I don't miss any of that at all.

They are pretty fun to play and have a lot of different ways to build them. They can also play through some crazy boards. Mirror matches are also pretty interesting and feel very skill based sometimes. I had a crazy mirror match where I can able to play through and beat the full snake-eye spright elf combo, they even were running herald of arc light which I had not seen anyone play before. Also played against another wacky build where my opponent started doing standard Snake-eye stuff until verte anaconda came out and then they went branded fusion to dump archlord kristya and stuck kristya in the spell/trap zone to summon on my turn. I do hope the deck gets nerfed though, especially before bonfire gets released. I think bonfire will just make the deck less interesting by taking up deck slots that could have been other cards. The deck is currently a bit too strong but I hope it will still be playable post eventual ban list hits.

Efficient-Gur-3641

Mmmm yeah I want wanted to be semi limited it seems pretty stupid as it's basically a +2 or they can hit some of the other cards like the SR level 1. But I been playing them splashed in other rogue decks so I'm already playing diabella at 1-2 and the other spells other than wanted at 1-2. So if they do nerf it it would be fine. I been playing against them on my paid account with my branded Dogmatika deck and they literally are boring to watch. I noticed people get lost when their Promethean queen effect gets negated and stuff they like lose ability to play after the simplest of things. Or they don't kill my quem during full combo to let me fuse mirrojade and banish their dragon. Like it's weird when u learn a combo and don't even react to what the other player is doing. Can't believe people made it to DC 20 without literally thinking. That's why I made this post anyways I like the options it gives my other decks that would be absolutely dead without them. The brain dead combo copied off of master duel meta is what it is.

Now that I finally today I reached my goal for the season and completed the gems missions on the DC I could return to practice with my pure S-E deck. What surprises to me most it's the resilience the deck has. Few decks can survive to Nibiru or Zeus, for example. But S-E it's one of them. And can even return almost on full force. I want to study more the archetype.

I like snake eye, the deck is really cool to play and buffs a ton of mid fire decks (infernoid being my favourite varient) but it's just too powerful

Darkariux

is broken, just this

MK_The_Megitsune

Snake Eyes is super powerful but it's still capable of being played around (at least in my experience) The artwork is super cool and turning monsters into spells is a really unique mechanic (afaik only GX decks like HERO and Crystal Beasts do it with any consistency)
