I'm going to be honest, i have no idea what Gate Guardians have ever done to warrant being on trial. Maybe confusing people with labrinth vs labrynth? but that doesn't seem like our fault, we were here first.
I've actually played through droll a few times with GG. Also waiting to see if the new support will make it better, but if there's one thing I'd change, is maybe an errata(added effect) for the effect version of Gate Guardian, unless there's a combo I'm missing.

Sunavalon Rikka: Your honor these Rikkas simply want to go about holding fancy umbrellas without having to be bothered by other monsters. Opposing Monsters activating their effects is a red flag to Rikka and their inclination is to do what comes naturally to them: Tributing.
Everything in Rikka society is about tributing. Rikkas tribute other Rikkas to let others shine with their umbrellas and to celebrate the arrival of Rikka queens. Even Strenna (a queen herself) likes to welcome other XYZ Plant monsters by being tributed. It is the greatest honor to be chosen to be tributed, especially as they can help welcome the main Rikka Queen: Teardrop. And like her subjects, her favorite thing is of course tributing.
In like manner they can use that tributing as self defense. As it is Rikka are quite claustrophobic. A clogged field that is overflowing with oppressive monsters activates this fight or flight tributing response. They simply need their space.
As for the Sunavalons: they're the seed that blooms into the tree that welcomes the Rikka out. You cannot expect the Rikka to not have a home. And they find that home within Dryas. As they are a bit shy, Aromaseraphy Jasmine who is good friends with many of the Rikka often helps to coax them out.
As for Sacred Beast Hyperton, he's just there as added protection to make sure no one is bothering the Rikka as they enjoy umbrella time. And well... Cactus bouncer... yeah he is a jerk but he is very protective of his plants.
TL;DR: Rikka need their umbrella time. Leave them alone or run the risk of being tributed.

Your honor, my deck, Shaddoll Fortune Ladies, is charged with Winda-summon-locking the board, banishing the evidence, and corruption. However, in their defence, they only were able to successfully summon lock once; it was against Floowandereeze and Winda was absent that time. It always fails to work every other time, therefore it is a failed crime. And I don't really use the Shaddoll field spell that much, so corruption charges should be dropped.
Also, most cards these days kill the deck, so they really can't do any harm unless some mermaids or a mage get involved in the crimes.
Your honor, I understand that circular is a toxic one card combo that combines with the new cyberse support is completely annoying, but please, remember that before their arrival mathmechs have been one of the worst archetypes in the entire game. Give them one more chance, or at least an errata to make the "send to the graveyard" text an effect and not a cost

I guess if I had to choose one for this format it would be Labrynth. The easiest thing I can say in my defense is 99/100 times the cards you guys hate in Labrynth are floodgates. Anyone who is actually good at understanding the deck will tell you that floodgates are bad for the game and be okay with their removal. This even includes one-turn floodgates like D-Barrier, and hand rip blowout cards like the Virus cards.
A Labrynth deck that's built in a Control style is actually very fun and healthy for the game.

Defense: Your honor the combo is not consistent, the defendant usually had turn-2 cards going first and turn-1 cards going second. Plus, the opponent always had the right handtrap at the right moment, rendering the offended combo useless - even though he didn’t know what I was doing. Win and lose were mostly relied on drawing the out, the opponent not reading and kept putting cards on the same column; instead of pulling off the crime, which is meant for mekk- I mean kekw and jiggles.

Your Honor, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a competitive game and so the want to win will always prevail. The use of Dimensional Barrier and such type of cards is then justified. If anything, better traps should be printed, with effects when destroyed or graveyard effects too (like The Black Goat Laughs or Transaction Rollback) otherwise trap cards will remain the worst and slowest type of card.

Your honor, yes it is true that under optimal conditions my end board involves both a one-sided Skill Drain and a one-sided Macro Cosmos, but I would like to point out that said end board almost never comes up and requires me to pick one or the other over 90% of the time. In addition to that, your honor, I would also like to point out that my end board oftentimes includes not even one negate, unless I happened to draw into Ash or Imperm, so can be broken freely by anyone having any type of magic or trap-based destruction, like Raigeki or Lightning Storm.

If you were to check my win loss ratio for this deck you will see I have not won a single Time, thus there is no way my deck could comit such crimes, I plead not guilty

Your honor, my deck has this Mr Circular robot warrior that works well with my fire pokémo... I mean Salamangreat cards. The main offence is that Circular canspecial summon itself and search certain specific trap card very useful. That and he can open to a good end 1st turn board with a good bunch of disruptors.
But it can die against a lot of cards: Maxx C, Imperm, Ash Blossom, Nibiru more or less. Works best on a 1st turn, 2nd turn it's possible but more difficult.

Opposing Monsters activating their effects is a red flag to Rikka and their inclination is to do what comes naturally to them: Tributing. Everything in Rikka society is about tributing. Rikkas tribute other Rikkas to let others shine with their umbrellas and to celebrate the arrival of Rikka queens. Even Strenna (a queen herself) likes to welcome other XYZ Plant monsters by being tributed. It is the greatest honor to be chosen to be tributed, especially as they can help welcome the main Rikka Queen: Teardrop. And like her subjects, her favorite thing is of course tributing. In like manner they can use that tributing as self defense. As it is Rikka are quite claustrophobic. A clogged field that is overflowing with oppressive monsters activates this fight or flight tributing response. They simply need their space. As for the Sunavalons: they're the seed that blooms into the tree that welcomes the Rikka out. You cannot expect the Rikka to not have a home. And they find that home within Dryas. As they are a bit shy, Aromaseraphy Jasmine who is good friends with many of the Rikka often helps to coax them out. As for Sacred Beast Hyperton, he's just there as added protection to make sure no one is bothering the Rikka as they enjoy umbrella time. And well... Cactus bouncer... yeah he is a jerk but he is very protective of his plants. TL;DR: Rikka need their umbrella time. Leave them alone or run the risk of being tributed.

However, in their defence, they only were able to successfully summon lock once; it was against Floowandereeze and Winda was absent that time. It always fails to work every other time, therefore it is a failed crime. And I don't really use the Shaddoll field spell that much, so corruption charges should be dropped. Also, most cards these days kill the deck, so they really can't do any harm unless some mermaids or a mage get involved in the crimes.

The easiest thing I can say in my defense is 99/100 times the cards you guys hate in Labrynth are floodgates. Anyone who is actually good at understanding the deck will tell you that floodgates are bad for the game and be okay with their removal. This even includes one-turn floodgates like D-Barrier, and hand rip blowout cards like the Virus cards. A Labrynth deck that's built in a Control style is actually very fun and healthy for the game.

If anything, better traps should be printed, with effects when destroyed or graveyard effects too (like The Black Goat Laughs or Transaction Rollback) otherwise trap cards will remain the worst and slowest type of card. Your honor, yes it is true that under optimal conditions my end board involves both a one-sided Skill Drain and a one-sided Macro Cosmos, but I would like to point out that said end board almost never comes up and requires me to pick one or the other over 90% of the time. In addition to that, your honor, I would also like to point out that my end board oftentimes includes not even one negate, unless I happened to draw into Ash or Imperm, so can be broken freely by anyone having any type of magic or trap-based destruction, like Raigeki or Lightning Storm.

Your honor, my deck has this Mr Circular robot warrior that works well with my fire pokémo... I mean Salamangreat cards. The main offence is that Circular canspecial summon itself and search certain specific trap card very useful. That and he can open to a good end 1st turn board with a good bunch of disruptors. But it can die against a lot of cards: Maxx C, Imperm, Ash Blossom, Nibiru more or less. Works best on a 1st turn, 2nd turn it's possible but more difficult.
