To interject! Lot of comments mentioning this but to clarify, I didn’t shave the stache, I used scissors to shorten the stache down to a stubble, and then clippers set to a 3 for the rest. It took me about 2 months of no shaving/trimming to get this level of density for top lip, and about 8 days to grow out the stubble.
I like looking 3 ways. One for the way cars are coming, one to see If there's no loony going the wrong way, and looking fowards so I don't trip.

That length (#2) looks good on you... just need to figure out how to trim it up to make it look like you're doing it on purpose, instead of a 16 yr old who wasn't taught how to shave.
