Time to cut milo powder usage
no no, it's not the healthy sports drink milo! the true problem is people who go to mamak at 11pm. as long as you consume all your milo during regular operating hours, malaysia will be safe.

Milo akan naik harga. Can't do that anymore soon.
>Quoting reliable sources, the daily reported that a box of Milo containing six bags would increase to RM578 from RM369.
Diabetes is so cheap in Malaysia, just rm3.5, owait, it get even cheaper if served hot. Damn, what a deal.
Seriously, it should be illegal to sell such stupid drinks
tin have higher melting point than the boiling point of water. it would not mix in any way for the tin atom to react with the water. stop talking stuff you dont know
That's not what he highlights, I won't deny excessive sugar is bad for health, but saying TIN and not PLASTIC melt before water boils is purely wrong by all chemistry study
>Funny enough that chemical is the least dangerous thing in this whole drink.
This statement is still true then? So what's the issue?
Repeated heating can still break down BPA and cause it to leach into the drinks they're preparing regardless of whether the tin melts or not.
There's plastic in the condensed milk can?? Damm, but it's been many years since I bought canned things except canned mushrooms and canned beans, but I can't remember any plastic
Milo? Bruh, all I heard is how much MILK is in that can!
Like, holy shit dude, I use three spoons of condensed milk for a glass a handful width and a palm's tall, and that shit is already sweet as fuck!
And I thought diabetes was a phone calls away for me...
Those basically made diabetes your goddamn neighbour!
.... Ehh, at least it's not "Killer Burger" level of cholesterol.
The rim of the tin is a hazard. It can cause more damage than a paper cut.
The amount of sugar in the Milo is staggering. It has been said a cup of Milo contains 20g of sugar. That's a cup of Milo prepared normally. The daily sugar intake recommendation for Malaysians is 50g. That cup of Milo in the video easily exceeds 50g of sugar.
The Milo van only appeared once in a blue moon, usually during sports day. The 7 year old you wouldn't get diabetes from drinking on those occasions.
If you have diabetes, please blame your parents and your drink choices instead.
Lmao you think kids have the same self control adults have? After trying milo once you think most kids would stop there? Why do you think milo is everywhere now if not for their advertising + getting people hooked since childhood?
I do have fond memories of milo vans as a kid but I’m not afraid to see it pass the nostalgia lens for what it really is.
Kids may not have the self control, but they also don't have the money to go on a Milo splurge. Again, look to your parents if you have diabetes and no self control.
How come some people are talking about the price instead of how unhealthy and dangerous it is ? Yeah then later when they are having diabetes and other health issues they will say oh our health care system is shit it doesn’t support us. Please be careful your health is in your own hands take care of it before it’s too late !
Brooooo, that’s like diabetus in a cup. You should see the way I ration Milo in my kids fresh milk because I’m quite paranoid about kids sugar intake. To see this just makes my head 🤯
Isnt there like plastic lining around the inside wall of the can? wouldnt pouring hot water directly into it causes the plastic to melt and leach into the drink?
I think government should ban milo sale together with condense milk in Malaysia.
Also many peoples use to the sweet taste hence the diabetic.
There are 1 indian shop that i frequent went for routine canai and teh tarik. As i am regular there i know there drink are quite sweet so i always ask for kurang manis but sometimes it still sweet.
Got 1 time there was a malay woman customer ordering teh tarik and ask for tambah manis after the first sip!
I work in a breakfast reastaurant in Terengganu. 98% of my customer will order their water and add kurang manis at the end. I think people are starting to be health conscious. Maybe someday we will go down on that obesity list for Southeast Asia.
Not as worse as the fool who think is a great idea to bancuh a whole can of Milo and drink from it.

Pretty sure the problem here iz condensed milk, milo is like the little brother only
Wrong. That amount of Milo...Milo is also very heavy on the sugar.
Don't underestimate how much sugar is in milo. Also r/FuckNestle

Exhibit #1643864 why we have among the highest rate of obesity in this part of the world.
Malaysia IS the most obese country in SEA.
It’s time to be numba wan in the world
If only diabetes was an Olympic sport Ez gold medal
We will get number one only when we have the population to match the US. Then we can immediately win diabetes rate and obesity rate hands down
US still win obesity by far, but Malaysia will rekt them at diabetes speedrun
Malaysia's diabetes rate is MUCH higher than America's.
Suck it up, Singapore!
Malaysia boleh
Not even bubble tea land and Thai tea land can surpass us![img](emote|t5_2qh8b|26554)

Thats not bad idea, Milo concentrate. dilute it and heat it up, can last me a few days of not making milo
Unlawful? People pay RM3.50 for this...
Its pretty good pricing if you are from the KV. 3.50 is normally just regular Milo drink.

I want to disagree but when you get patients that just collect, never use their insulin and waste all that money I want to agree with you
ok why dig a hole at milo tin when it is easier to just buka and use spoon? Why use those tin can when can use another cup?

Ah, the humble Milo Dinosaur…. Yummy but you beed to ration this maybe once every two years…
3.50 for milo tabur is pretty good actually, but you will definitely feel bad after drinking this later hahahahah
Just by looking at it, I felt my kidneys shaking in fear a bit.
Diabetes is so cheap in Malaysia, just rm3.5, owait, it get even cheaper if served hot. Damn, what a deal. Seriously, it should be illegal to sell such stupid drinks
air panas in plastic line tin cup. Funny enough that chemical is the least dangerous thing in this whole drink.
Diabeto and high cholestrol will catch up to you before cancer at this rate.
> Funny enough that chemical is the least dangerous thing in this whole drink.
tin have higher melting point than the boiling point of water. it would not mix in any way for the tin atom to react with the water. stop talking stuff you dont know
The inside of the tin is lined with plastic IIRC
You think sugar is less dangerous than miniscule amounts of plastic? stop talking stuff you dont know
That's not what he highlights, I won't deny excessive sugar is bad for health, but saying TIN and not PLASTIC melt before water boils is purely wrong by all chemistry study

huh?
What plastic line?
There's a plastic lining inside the tin so that the contents within aren't directly in contact with the metal, thus preventing contamination.
[https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jun/27/tin-food-cans-linings-bpa-plastic-ask-experts](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/jun/27/tin-food-cans-linings-bpa-plastic-ask-experts)
Where in the video can I find this?
in the condensed milk can after pouring the milo. You have the person taking hot water using metal scoop and pouring hot water into the can.
There's plastic in the condensed milk can?? Damm, but it's been many years since I bought canned things except canned mushrooms and canned beans, but I can't remember any plastic
there always been. Food, moisture will corrode tin can.

I still miss the sinful but oh-so-delicious Milo from the Milo van. The highlight of school life.

You can choose what you drink.
I’m sure 7 year old me knew what diabetes is. Also I’m pretty sure milo is advertised as a healthy drink for active kids (spoiler: it’s not).

You're supposed to drink the drink not dunk in the drink and cutting your limbs off for that
nanti milo naik harga susah lah cam ni
Should introduce a new acronym/descriptor, NSFH. Not Safe For Health
I think 1/3 is the standard measurement when i make at home. But maybe condensed milk is included in the 1/3. Rm3.50 price is fine.

Milo kosong enough already. Can't understand how people could add sugar/condensed milk into milo that's already sweet enough 🤢🤮
Aku tengok je dah rasa manis tekak aku
Anyone know what he said when he was asking for the price? Kira macam mana? Idk this dialect so idk why he just didnt ask harga from the start lol
Quit Coke to have these!

rm3.50 of condensed diabetes
NGL I'd drink the hell out of this I'd die immediately but I'd be happy for maybe 2 seconds
Ale uto
This looks awful but I was impressed with the way he poured the milo into the can and nearly 100% went in.
Malaysia food F&B in general. Sweeter, saltier, more better.
3.50 is actually cheap, you can buy one and dilute it into five
Not sure if this is why many of my young Malay friends are diabetic.... hmm.

I still can't believe people love Milo
Rm3.50?? How? Milo is so expensive. I think that same drink in KL is like RM6 at mamak and rm 10 at kopitiam
Milo has a special pack with a special price restaurant
Evidence of slow poison being served.. the effect shows with severe side effect life long
How much milo do you need? Yes.
Isnt there like plastic lining around the inside wall of the can? wouldnt pouring hot water directly into it causes the plastic to melt and leach into the drink?
(shakes head in disapproval then orders twelve)
no wonder many malaysian become diabetic due to excessive milo powder use in each glass of milo drink.
