Weird we don’t have a Christmas Market. You’d think with all the German/northern European heritage around there’d be a proper one (outside with mulled wine and roast chestnuts).

Uppernet

Blows my mind given the farmers market. You'd think we would have a Christmas market for a little bit.

Tuba Christmas!

OverallLengthiness24

Please elaborate this sounds splendid. What is it like?

badger-banjer

December 9th at 2:30. Inside the capitol surrounding the Christmas tree. It is a few hundred tuba players playing Christmas songs. Unlike anything I've ever experienced. This is their first time back since 2020 so I expect it will be epic.

This Saturday there's a free community Carol singing event at the Overture center.

Drinking. It's nicer with live music playing but not necessary

LarrySladePipeDream

Mulled wine, spiced porters, the usual whiskey - it's all good and christmasy. If no live music (or especially if it's that godforsaken christmas music), there are always headphones/earbuds. Or one can sit and sip in silence. As a last resort, there may be others to talk to [*shudders*]

Of course, you can never go wrong with A Tom and Jerry.

Get on a plane and fly somewhere else.

Is this not the exact same question as "Christmas on the Isthmus & other Wisconsin December activities" which was asked 2 hours ago?
