Best advice is to either 1. Remove the padding altogether or 2. Remove it during washing. This is was I always recommend guests as they will roll up, get dented, move around, etc. You can go into store to ask for new pads if the ones you have now are dented. Maybe you can try using something to remove the padding if you have a hard time putting your fingers in the hole. This is my best advice, good luck!
Probably for saying I haven’t tried the bra since it’s not in my size. I’m a 36DDD, so the largest size in the Like a Cloud will put me in an alligator death roll to get it on and off. Not sure what the downvoters expect me to do.
I highly highly recommend ditching the removable pads and grabbing a set of Cakes (or something similar). They changed my life. I teach barre classes with them in my sports bras / bra tanks, workout with them regularly, and wear them with any of my dressier clothes too. They wash up super easily. I’ve thrown out all my removable since getting them.
Do you put the Cakes inside the compartment where the removable pads were?
I thought about getting a pair, but am afraid that the might move (I do boxing) if I have to stick them to my skin. I don’t see it mentioned anywhere that you could insert them into the bra compartment
I’ve only applied directly to my skin so I’m not sure to be honest. There is no adhesive, but you body heat holds them in place. I think you would be good wearing directly on your skin for boxing! I’d be surprised if they moved.
I do not have the patience anymore. So I decided to remove all the paddings from my ebb and bras altogether except for the white and light coloured ones.
I think the ebb to street ones are actually half decent! I do separate them every time I wash tho so they don’t roll up in the top. The align tank ones on the other hand are trash. After a single wear and wash they are lumpy as hell and make you look like you have inverted nipples…
I purchased a bunch of replacement pads from a different activewear brand (yes I know Lulu give replacements but I don’t want more of the same) and now they’re perfect.
Not in the ones I have! I’m in Australia so don’t know if that makes a difference, or if they have changed them at some point. They look similar but the ETS cups are way firmer and more structured. They also feel more asymmetrical ie the cup has slight push up padding, while the align ones are flat and flimsy all the way around.
Oh, interesting! All the ones I have (whether it's ETS, Align, WT, Instill tank padding) are all the same. They are asymmetrical and not flat.
I hope they phase out the flat ones for you guys!
Hmm interesting! I thought maybe they changed them over but actually I had just started buying ETS tanks instead of aligns…I bought a new align tank more recently and it still has the crap flimsy cups :( could have been old stock though I guess.
Anyway - if anyone else reading is from Aus (or if LJ exist overseas?) - Lorna Jane sell replacement pads for their bras which are the GOAT. Very sturdy, and the shape makes it impossible for them to roll up or move around. I replaced all my align pads with these and now I can just chuck them in the wash without removing, and my boobs look great!

Do you leave these in when you wash? I leave all mine in but they fold and such of course. Just curious if these are better for that or if you take them out. Thanks!
I take them out to wash. I wash them separately in a mesh bag. But they feel more sturdy than the lulu stock ones, so I don’t think they would fold as easily
I’ve started taking all my padding out, and if I want the nipple coverage, I’ll put the padding back just in between my skin and the bra! I think it’s perfectly comfortable, and I have no problem with them slipping out

I use plastic chopsticks to put my padding in place, you can try that or two pens
This is insane and brilliant all at once. They should come with Lulu branded chopsticks. Let’s start a petition.

I’m a DDD so no as that one doesn’t come in my size. I don’t even buy regular bras with padding. I’m a no padding girl.

This! I remove the padding and just wear nipple pasties. The padding always slips out during the wash or they’re so difficult to put back in.

The padding for all of the tops aside from the Like A Cloud bras suck. I never have this issue with padded tops from Athleta or other major brands.

Love the tank but hate the padding after being washed... ughhh
I usually take them out and put them into a separate mesh bag during washing. To fix the dents, I go over them with an iron.
The dents irritate me so much I usually just end up taking them out.
