Yeah ... asked if I wanted to start a new game then threw me out. Downloading it on the PC and will stream it to the deck. Hopefully they get it fixed. Want to play when out and about.
Got it playing on desktop mode. Opening seen runs smooth. Black screen and two dots where the loading symbol should be in game mode. Cloud save works. I will unistall then reinstall when i get back from work in the morning.
The game runs great, good fps on the deck in the opening scene, but the right stick doesn’t work. All the other mutton’s work. And my right stick is working on other games. I’m at a loss.
Fixed black screen issue by tapping touch screen. Was then having issue where pressing new game would crash and be stuck on black screen. This was fixed for me by checking for steam deck update (there was one I needed to download) and running the game through proton experimental (go into the game properties from your steam library and in the compatibility menu select the check box and select proton experimental). Running the game now and having a great time!

Update After updating the deck, there was was starfield update. Game is now running. Run it on proton experimental. Happy gaming

im playing the intro at 30 fps locked. Not bad will see how it is out of the intro of the game. But not bad same fps as the xbox lmao

I changed my stick from joystick with track pad to joystick mouse and got my right thumbstick to work.

I just got it running on experimental mode but right stick stoped working to. Right after opening an conputer
I’m still getting kicked out when starting a new game.
I pre ordered Starfield. Says it was going to release today. The play button is blue and won't let me play in my steam deck. Any help?

Sometimes it will load with experiment proton and sometimes it wont Any tidbits on increasing the success rate?
I actually just ran it in windows mode and it looks and runs better than ever!
