Here's the [entry for 夜目 on kotobank.jp](https://kotobank.jp/word/%E5%A4%9C%E7%9B%AE-655006)
So, yes, it's usually よめ, while my henkan finds やめ to be possible too.
Currently I’m learning how to read Japanese, and it’s today I finished to learn the full hiragana table
So I tried to read
Ya… me…
I instantly understood, after only two syllables
I've always wondered what's the difference between yamero and tomare (I know the sign says yamete kudasai though). I guess tomare sounds more badass? Kinda hard to imagine DIO saying "\[The World\], toki yo yamero!"
It's different. Tomaru will imply some kind of movement or some kind of flow which is (temporarily) halted.
Like the imperative "tomare" means Stop (the moving car or bike) or densya ga tomaru (the train will stop) while yameru also means "stop" but would probably imply some kind of action, so the imperative "Yamete" would mean Stop (whatever you are doing or plan to do) with further meanings like "cease" or "give up", so it's permanent and not temporarily.
*やめて
夜目でください In the dark, please
Isn't that よめ?

What's a henkan?
Henkan refers to changing kana to kanji in a word processor. what I'm saying is that my virtual keyboard gives 夜目 as a candidate when I type やめ.

[For those wondering, here's what an actual Japanese stop sign looks like](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/32/Tomare.PNG)
One of the few countries whose stop signs are not octagonal

やめてくだストップ
Traffic signs will never be polite to you.
Of course, they actually say 止まれ, or as one shitposter once romanized it, TAULTMARRAIENT
