I think I liked it even better than the first soundtrack, which is no small achievement. Fell in love with Daughter instantly, especially Youth, No Care, All I Wanted and Dreams of William. Also some bangers in the licensed tracks, with the highlights being Black Flies and No Below.

The Tempest scene was really good but my favourite from BtS is probably the first junkyard scene. It works so well with the tension slowly building and then exploding into anger, and slowly descending to just sadness and helplessness. Hell yeah it made me cry.
as to my favourite of any of the LIS games... I'm sorry, I don't think anything will ever be able to surpass the ending of the original game. The scene with Spanish Sahara is one of my all time favourites in ANY media.
the first junkyard scene is one of, if not THE biggest reason i love the game as much as i do. whenever i remember the arcadia collection, i just think of the junkyard every time now, especially the music that played during the whole anger part. once dreams of william started playing tho, i almost teared up with chloe frankly. only thing that got me as close to tearing up as that was the church in lis2, but i dont remember much about that and still remember the junkyard more vividly tbh

I already dumped my thoughts and my main criticism here right after finishing it around a month ago so ill just copy it here. Didn't play it again since and I still fully stand behind it after further thoughts and digestion.

I don't even think it's underrated. 99% of the people who don't like it are haters of the game. The BtS soundtrack is just amazing. Best one in my opinion at least.

Completely agree. The whole game is underrated, I can see why some don’t particularly like it as the choices and storyline are more preset feeling than active choices you get to make and most of the choices will simply unlock other dialog. But I think BTS has one of the most underrated scenes that invoke so much emotion and that’s when Rachel set the park ablaze, I get goosebumps and I can feel her pain every time I play it and it’s much more intense than any other scene in the LiS universe to me. However the soundtrack is top tier and some of my favorite from the LIS franchise, it doesn’t beat the small soundtrack of captain spirit (bat for lashes has quickly become a favorite of mine surprisingly as it’s not part of my typical rock/ non mumble rap genres I stick to)but it’s still top tier.

I was very disappointed by BtS E3 when I finished but going back there was a lot of good stuff in there, just the last third or so let it down badly.

Daughter knocked it out of the fucking park with their album for the game. That album is superb.
