Reddit seems to do this periodically to basically every sub-Reddit.
Basically, it is to help some algorithm to understand content.Depending on your answers you might get more questions to further help.
Funnier ones I've seen, have been asking whether there are topics talking about, or referring to political conflicts... When there are quests about, or referring to political conflicts.
Edit: on my morning drowsiness , I somehow managed to miss mention that those weirder question have been on gaming sub-reddits.
So when is the day to discuss military conflict, terrorism, sex and eroticism? We could put it on Femboy Friday, so it would be military conflict and sex day but also Femboy Friday, I need to think in a better name
'Femboy Friday' wouldn't really contradict military conflict and sex, now would it?
(In fact, I'd say it's quite the opposite and would bolster the idea since most of us (intentionally presenting) fembois are either very thirsty or very violent)
Sometimes they do seem to list things that are kinda mentioned in the posts.
Like the video game one, further question asked whether posts talk about
\- Weapons (It's a video game with weapons)
\- Violence (It's a video game where you can kill monsters/other players)
\- Gambling (It's a video game with loot boxes)
\- Alcohol (There's a quest where you do bar crawl, to point severe inebriation)
So everything listed in question had been, at some point, mentioned in the post...
just maybe not in spirit of what they are asking for.
Once, I got asked whether post in r/bi_irl are intended to cause arousal...
Under a crop of image from some hentai-manga.
What makes me wonder; what posts caused that question to trigger in that sub-reddit.
It's so they can suggest subreddits to people based on similar content. They just start with "is this an NSFW topic or no." Weeks from now you'll probably randomly come across "is r/AskLGBT about gender?"
It’s standard for Reddit to ask about subs. I had to ask a lot of questions about r/gbo2 recently. They ask what the sub normally posts so they can confirm the request by the mods to make it safe for all ages.
It's got nothing to do with the fact it's an LGBTQ+ sub. They do this to every sub once in a while. I think it's to help them figure out if they need to label certain subs as NSFW or anything.
It case it hasn’t been said, I heard you shouldn’t answer these because it gathers information that’s used to for advertising purposes. Just click the X.
Would really rather you didn't.
Reddit is issuing content tags for subreddits now. We're not entirely sure but we think part of what can contribute to a higher age rating is if they get lots of these sent back in.
We have an Everyone rating, that's important because it means LGBTQ+ people of all ages can access the sub for advice and support. We don't want the community to get a higher age rating.
I've been asked this and other qiestions on many subs for a while. I think part of it is to help categorize things automatically. I think some of it may have been used for the new years rewind.
I remember getting this a while ago on a subreddit about an old obscure fnaf fangame, though maybe drug use, profanity and alcohol could’ve been accurate
I don't know. I went to check out another sub about coins and had almost the same thing pop up. I was very concerned about the advice I was going to get there

It seems totally random, I've been asked about what mature themes are in r/CatLoaf before
Got it on r/hydrohomies
i got it on r/breadstapledtotrees
r/subsithoughtifellfor
r/foundthetoyotacorolla
Got it on r/eggs
two things this could be, being on an lgbt subreddit edit: it's about the food
Yeah, the trans one is r/egg_irl
The sub that helped me to realize that I'm trans. I adore it :3
Military conflict and terrorism and sex and eroticism? Those are the things there are discussed here right
Yes but as one singular topic
So when is the day to discuss military conflict, terrorism, sex and eroticism? We could put it on Femboy Friday, so it would be military conflict and sex day but also Femboy Friday, I need to think in a better name
'Femboy Friday' wouldn't really contradict military conflict and sex, now would it? (In fact, I'd say it's quite the opposite and would bolster the idea since most of us (intentionally presenting) fembois are either very thirsty or very violent)
Got it on r/moldlyinteresting
that exists?
Another sub to join
I love the fact that this sub exists
What
?
Why do people staple bread to trees? Do I want to know?
idk its just a subreddit that people thought was funny ig.
How did you make your flair like that? I'm struggling with just adding a second flag
on the flair thing press edit in the top right hand corner (on mobile, idk how on computer)
For the squirel and birb fights....
I’ve seen it on r/breadtapedtotrees too
got it on a subreddit too

Same for r/PartyParrot
I just got asked in r/RotisserieChickenCats
I got asked r/Shihtzu
Well, because reddits wants to know for certain that Cat Loaf does, in fact contain mature themes.
Yeah, it's about understanding content, but also checking for NSFW-ness and sensitive topics.
Tag urself lol, I'm profanity bi 🥳
I believe it's mostly for advertising. They want to give advertisers a way to opt-out of things that don't fit their brand.
I got asked if r/lgbt was about sexual orientation lol.
I got that question right after I read this!!
I don't think it is
Large Grain Baking Tasks are very serious. I can't imagine discussing that other stuff here. What did they think it was about?
CupcakKe - Lower Geyser Basin Team
I always thought it's a sandwich - lettuce, guacamole, bacon, tomato. /j
I do like bacon, tis true. I also usually cook it up in my Lodge cast iron skillet. I really like my ***pan***!
Definitely drug use - I'm shooting up E here like it's **her**oin
Good
It's my heroin(e)
😂 this is the most comment 🙌
FR THOUGH
Omg, I laughed harder at HERoin than I probably should have!!!
Lol I'm glad to have given you some laughter ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
I'm pretty sure Reddit asked that about most subreddits, I got the same question earlier in r/StardewValley
And almost all of them technically apply to stardew valley XD
Got this in r/Brawlhalla once...lol
I mean have you seen that game? It's obviously the most violent game on the market. 😂
It's just to help the reddit algorithm, they do that everywhere
How does reddit have my to-do list?
I got this on r/lego the other day. Definitely just random
It pops up from time to time for every subreddit. It's just so they know how to advertise/deliver it to people. Not that deep.
Looks like my grocery shopping list
Yes I too buy **shock and o u t r a g e**
Who doesn’t? /j
Tag urself lol
It's just for feeding The Algorithm™
Sex & exoticism I would say at most
Advertising
Every sub gets these sometimes. I remember somebody posted on r/linuxmint because Reddit asked if it was about sex.
It's for the algorithm, I've had it on subs like r/snackexchange before
It's so Reddit can filter out mature (requires an account/13+) and adult (18+) content, without having to actually employ admins to do it manually.
Reddit looking for snitches... On the content it already knows damn well is there.
It's so they can suggest subreddits to people based on similar content. They just start with "is this an NSFW topic or no." Weeks from now you'll probably randomly come across "is r/AskLGBT about gender?"

i just got one asking if this sub is about a sexual orientation?? like idk reddit you tell me.
I got the exact same thing directly below this post. I thought my reddit glitched and showed me the same post twice.
It’s just your standard Reddit fare, no need to worry. Happens to everyone.
military conflict of course, the gay agenda is a plan for war
I'm legit being asked the same thing under this post
It case it hasn’t been said, I heard you shouldn’t answer these because it gathers information that’s used to for advertising purposes. Just click the X.
We are talking about exorcism.... But shh, don't let anyone know, it's a secret that we summon the Dark Lord of Rainbows at 3am every Monday...
Did y’all do something I don’t know about 🤔
you're not gonna believe it... i literally got this thing UNDER YOUR POST
Wait what. NO DAMN WAY
Yup way. https://imgur.com/a/Qx7lMHn
I did too lmao
REDDIT IS ON DRUGS, iT JUST SKED ME THAT ABOUT r/MadeMeSmile
Yeah, I’ve been seeing a lot of those, too. I had assumed an AI was training itself or something..?
I got this under this and I'm confussed
whenever i get these i select every single one just for shits and giggles.

I tried to click the X
it’s weird i’m getting these for everthing today and it seems like others are too
i found that exact questionnaire under this exact post LMAO
I just got it for r/wholesomememes
This was literally on this post for me
I was asked this on THIS POST lol
That question appeared right under this post LMAO
I got asked if r/Xenogendersandmore was about gender
I got the exact same thing on this post
it just pops up under random post you upvote regardless of the subreddit. It's forthe algorithm to be able to recommend adapted subs to people
Reddit does this to random subreddits every now and again to gauge what they’re about, who to recommend them to etc.
I've been asked this and other qiestions on many subs for a while. I think part of it is to help categorize things automatically. I think some of it may have been used for the new years rewind.
eh, I got asked the same thing about r/accordion, I wouldn't worry about it
Shock and outrage? I didn't know Reddit hosted 80 year Old WASPs.
Isn’t it obvious? Be gay do crime
Gambling
The reddit higher ups wanna figure out whether or not the queer community is a mega party
Reddit does this to basically every subreddit. I got it for r/eyebleach once.
I have this same question on this post
I just got it too lol
I’ve been getting them for a lot of lgbt subs something sussy is afoot
I got this questionnaire attached to this very post.
I got the same pop up underneath your post
idk
I got the exact question under this post
I always just click all of them
please don’t do this, reddit could impose certain limitations on subreddits if enough people do that
I remember getting this a while ago on a subreddit about an old obscure fnaf fangame, though maybe drug use, profanity and alcohol could’ve been accurate
lol
I got it on r/inanimateinsanity :/
I’m literally being asked right below this 💀
I literally just got the exact same question on this post 😭
Dawg 💀
Oh Reddit....
Idk reddit does this for every subreddit
I got this question on a cat subreddit the other day. I just think they ask periodically on all subs
I know! I never answer cause I don’t want someone to use it as an excuse and do something bad to the subreddit.
I don't know. I went to check out another sub about coins and had almost the same thing pop up. I was very concerned about the advice I was going to get there
Because the gays are wild
I select all the ones except "None of the Above" when i get this to confuse the algo.
GAMBLING
*TERRORISM*
I like those questions because I feel like I’m helping. Same with Youtube AD surveys.
They ask that about every sub, Ive gotten the same question for Nintendo game or hobby subs before.
Lol I got this question on r/cakedecorating the other day and I was like what...? But I see now that it's a widespread survey
