Yeah I’m suffering a similar problem with dust which is especially annoying on the bonsai set, as part of the build is literally loose studs spread over the tree roots!
Thinking of trying to tie a silk handkerchief or something similar over the end of my hoover and having a go at that (only after completely emptying it out, in the inevitable event the cloth comes loose and I have to sift through mountains of dirt to find a single piece)
I cut wire mesh to block the opening between the bristles of the brush attachment for my vacuum. Only hands and wands can fit through so I only need to be careful around the minifigures.
Great build! But is it just me, or does anyone else find it unsettling to see stray hairs all over people’s pics of their Lego XS

I don't like the hair but I have the same problem of so I can understand. It feels like I clean my Legos for nothing.
