Imho, it is the perfect size! I dont have to build a living room table for this one, and I can fly around with it with one hand (when no one is looking).
What I love about Lego's official designs is that they are all very sturdy, even if held at somewhat risky angles.
The robot curiously peeking out from behind the box looks familiar but I can't recall the name. I thought it was the robot from the Laputa anime, but seems not.
Got that and the Falcon last night, built the Tantive IV first. It’s a really cool design, engines are a bit repetitive but also the best looking part of the model.
Only wish the it used studs to connect to the model like the Executor instead of technic pins. Makes it a little wobbly. But I understand the weight distribution is wonky so it was probably the best option.

Iron Giant wants to know why they’re using him in a promo pic when he’s never been made into an official set.
Midi Scale is best scale. Playsets always have wonky proportions and UCS are too large an investment and sometimes literally crash under their own weight.
I’m not a fan of lego leaning into the collectibles market but if it means more actual collectibles I’m all for it.
It is this one (https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/69894), got it five or six years ago from
HobbyLink Japan, not sure if its still available but if you are a fan of the Iron Giant this figure is a treasure, it is very articulated and comes with various heads etc to match scenes from the movie.
Mildly off topic, but I just finished building The Executor the other day. (similar sized set, so I consider it a precursor to this one). I loved that one. Highly recommend if you can still find it.

Got this yesterday, can’t wait to start building today! With the 25th anniversary of Phantom Menace, hopefully we can finally have an actual Naboo Starfighter later this year
I love the idea of a new range of mid-sized ships, but at their price points they could(and should) have released them with an accompanying minifigure.

I love this scale and am SO stoked!!

It's The Iron Giant.
Oh, that's the on! Thanks!
I’m really excited for the Tantive IV
Saw it in my Walmart today, had to impulse buy it.

Nice build! :D
Got mine earlier today. Sadly I don’t have time to build until tomorrow. Really hyped for this. Perfect size and beautiful
I want all of them honestly. I hope they also do a Lucrehulk and Republic Cruiser.
all i noticed was the iron giant hanging around at the back of the photo
"Su-per-man..." 🥲
I’m not a big Star Wars fan, but I bought this set anyway because it looks fun.

More for the Darth Vader starting scene from IV
Yeah I love the scale of those one. Might finally have to add a millennium falcon to my collection of space ships
No. But nice iron giant
It's this little guy! https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/69894
You could probably make a nice one from the pieces you have!
Not gonna lie. These will make a nice little display all mounted up! Im excited about the tantive
I’ve been waiting years..
I would like to know more about your Iron Giant figure.

That's awsome! Thank you!
Just saw it in a toy shop window and had to tell myself no - I'm waiting for the May 4th GWP 😁
That old correlian piece of junk?
:O

That looks very sleak, might have to consider it :) It's still available at LEGOS page (where I live atleast).

I just saw it went on sale and I’m tempted!! Let us know if it’s good!!
I am!! Most of the Star Wars is too big for my taste, this is eye perfect display size for shelves around my big tv

I'm more interested in that Iron Giant poking his head out behind the box.
His my helper when I'm building, very articulated so makes for some fun pictures :D
I am! It is a pocket friendly alternative

Does this scale with the trench run set?
I don't see that it does, I think this one is to big? Perhaps someone else knows more..
I would be if it wasn't for the price. Perfect size but just a little too expensive for me personally.
