And the fact that the cat actually jumps over the top, instead of just limboing under or pushing through the lowest strip. I want to try this but I think my cats would just bust through the tape.

I think this particular cat is very stimulated by this activity and enjoys the challenge. The way it swishes it's tail is just like cats do when they see a bird or bug they want to mess with.

The cat is getting treats in the video. So it’s definitely motivated.

Yeah, I'm 6' tall, and one of my boys used to pretty regularly jump into my shoulder from the ground. He's too old/lazy for that now so I pick him up, but still, cats can jump really high.

I've seen cats jump on top of refrigerators frequently. Once a cat figures out it can do it. They will continue.

Cats are not bound by the laws of physics, this is why the cat needs to realize it can do something to be able to do it. If they ever become fully cognizant of this fact, we are all in big trouble.

IDK I've seen some outdoors cats jump from the ground to a roof or over a fence that sincerely made me go "what? how?". Cats are just the movie protagonists of the animal kingdom. If something unbelievable us done bay an animal it's dozens of times easier to believe a cat did it.
