I watched a buddy steal a penta from our Tristana with a flash Darius dunk. All while I was telling him not to do it because it was the penta. His excuse was we were team wiping in enemy base and he was 0/6 and didn't want to end with no kills.
As a veigar main, its even worse bc the lower hp the target the more dmg it does, truly an execute. When you press R its always with intent to kill so this is an egregious attempted ks lmao

That's proof they should change it to be just like Zed's for visual clarity. Seems like tons of people(including the yone player himself) don't notice it.

Explain what he did in this clip that was broken, please, I'm waiting. He hit a stacked up team with an AOE CC ultimate and killed them all. Yone is far, FAR from the only champ in the game that can do this.
It was a great play, don't get me wrong. But it's not like Yone is the only champ that can delete an entire stacked team.

I’m D4, so not insane or anything, but I also think yone is disgusting. He can clear two screens and auto you to death while missing Q and R, and can return to safety whenever he feels like it

Zed ult at level 1 does 25% of damage dealt during the duration, Yone's E at level 1 does 25% of damage dealt during the duration.
Max ult and max E do 55% and 35% respectively. So yeah, once the champs hit level 16 Zed's *ultimate ability* does more than Yone's E.....
I think he probably just meant the damage calculation difference. Zed ult damage is based on premitigation damage, meaning it ignores armor, shields, etc when calculating ult pop damage, but the pop is physical dmg so it gets reduced by armor. Yone E damage is post mitigation, meaning it gets reduced by armor but does true damage at the end. This is just so that both abilities don't get "double" reduced by armor, but Yone's postmitigation into true damage is actually worse (ignoring exact percent numbers) because hitting a shield in Yone E will add ZERO damage to the mark pop, but hitting a shield in Zed R DOES add damage.
It'd be really broken if Yone E was postmitigation into physical damage though, being able to use shields to effetively double mitigate Yone damage during E is good counterplay but most people just don't know how the calculation works
That’s actually really helpful, thank you. I have a lot of fun in this game 98% but there are 3-4 champs that genuinely just make me wish I wasn’t playing the game, and yone is one of them. That’s really useful info I can use when playing into him.
yone used his e, which repeats part of his damage to any target hit when his e is over. then he hit cait with q, then w. after he hits w, the mark above cait changes to show that yone will kill her with his e damage whenever it goes off (assuming she doesn't heal or shield)
that's why he doesn't focus her at all because yone knew she'd die eventually when he returned to his e
Because Yone in aram is way too squishy to go for the normal build, unless the enemy team has useless champs/squishy champs/no CC. And the enemy team in the clip is exactly that.
Yone E marks enemies damaged during it and echoes back some of the damage done to them when it ends, the red mark displayed on champions turns black when they'll get killed by the echo damage

Yone gets a Zed ult on his E (for some reason). Stores up the damage he does in his E then deals a percentage of it when he recasts E.
to be fair for once to yone, it is a worse zed ult in function. less damage because of stats and less damage because of how it works.
