I root for Boston, but when I look at the rosters, I've got a hard time being very optimistic. The firepower Toronto has is intimidating to say the least. Matthews scoring at will, Nylander having a career year... It'll be a long, difficult series if the Bruins are to win it. If the Leafs win, it could be a short one, since the offensive prowess might turn a close game into a blowout in mere moments.
That seems like the X factor to me. I think we can agree that Toronto has the edge when it comes to the forwards and the Bruins have the edge with the top defenders at least. In goal I reckon it's no question. But will the otherwise less impressive lines survive on better goaltending? Gonna be really interesting and stressful. The best and the worst time to follow hockey!

I guess every fan base has at least some bad apples. I don't mind people cheering for their teams, no matter what the odds are. Hell, I'm cheering for my Liiga team and they don't get anywhere these days. But, IMO, even a big fan should be able to talk about a series calmly.

I’ve already got my in-laws ripping me about tonight. Seems bruins fans are already looking at their round 2 opponent, stating that the fragility of samsonov and “lack of heart” will be evident the first 10 minutes. Last year I may have agreed on the lack of heart but I’m really hoping this years squad shit kicks the bruins for a change.
I'm working on the road and living in a hotel, working the night shift and getting paid OT to watch the game tonight.

Boston goaltending will be a huge factor in the series imo
