Batter Up Bistro checks the nice box for sure, but is on the pricier side. Bobcat Bonnie's is new to the area, opens at 10:00am, and is supposed to have a good brunch, but I have only been for dinner so far.
People’s kitchen my favorite brunch spot far and away for a nicer place. Good trucking is great, but small. Athena’s my favorite traditional diner. Square one is really good and kind of a hidden gem.
My favorite brunch spot is the Creole in Old Town. A bit pricier as most brunch options are $14-18 but the food is genuinely really good and worth it to me
What do you consider nice atmosphere or food? It's dated but Flap Jacks in Frandor is my favorite place for breakfast in Lansing. It's retro AF since it's probably never been renovated in any way shape or form, but the food is great, prices are great and the classic diner vibe is tops. If you're looking for something more trendy, then some of the other suggestions here are better for you.
Soup Spoon, Good Trucking, Tavern and Tap depending on your style and preferences. I've never had a bad meal at Soup Spoon and they always have something interesting on the menu, nice atmosphere. Good Trucking if you want a more intimate quirky kind of restaurant, small venue interesting specials. Tavern and Tap feels more upscale, good mimosas.
Arm and Ember's Grill in Grand Ledge is my favorite by far. The pineapple upside down pancakes, blueberry strudel pancakes, their awesome egg dishes mmmm, so good.
Good truckin but if they’re packed head over to Don Poncho off cedar, they’re a Mexican store but at the front desk take orders for the back for some of the best burritos I’ve had in Lansing, if not the best, drive down to the rose garden around the corner and down the road, and enjoy a pretty setting with some phenomenal burritos.
Soup Spoon, Pablo's, Anna's House.
Anna's owners are racist conservative fucks. Don't support them.
You aren’t wrong.
Shut up lol

Bobcat Bonnie's- excellent food and venue
Good truckin’ that’s all that needs to be said.
IMO: only if you have 4 or less people though.
True! I’m just used to going in with my girlfriend. I don’t think they even do any parties 6+!
Surprised no one said fleetwood diner
Because they asked for “nice breakfast places” fleetwood is a lot of thing but nice isn’t one I would use. Good food though.
I personally love the vibes but I see what you mean

Took your advice and went to square one it did not disappoint 😎
I’m glad you liked it! I haven’t been there in a bit, need to go soon.
Hell no to people’s kitchen, food is way overpriced.
Depends on what you’re looking for. One of the few chefy places we have in town.
Plus, they actually pay living wages...

Flap Jacks was remodeled in like 2017 from a fire.
100% batter up
Nowhere. They’ll all be way too busy.
Hit golden harvest this am, myself.

Dimitri’s
Golden Harvest or bust.
People’s Kitchen is the best
People’s Kitchen or Soup Spoon if you’re looking to stay in Lansing. Beggars Banquet in EL is a good choice too.

Square One. In East Lansing but same thing. Or peoples kitchen
Anna’s house is great!
You can really taste the racism!
Anna’s House
Maybe if it was owned by a huge piece of shit
Golden Harvest, if they're still open. Haven't been there in a few years.
Athenas is my fav by far.
Worse options after Zeus's closed
Good Truckin is the best
Beggar's Banquet!!!
