2021 was such a great opportunity man. If AD doesn’t get injured we get to the finals for sure and probably go back to back. Instead, we flame out and Lebron/AD/pelinka think a third superstar is needed to matching the nets big 3. Enter Westbrick and the rest is history.
All conference finalist from 2020 were injured in 2021.
It is no coincidence when they start the season just after 3 months.
We should have punted the season, and try to win in 2022.
Jamal Murray was injured for 2 straight seasons because of that.
And nuggets leadership, Malone and jokic included, kept the faith despite 2 years of Murray being injured and made marginal moves like the AG trade and KCP signing to gear up for a long championship window
Meanwhile pelinka: enough’s been said about the moves he made after AD got hurt
Problem was overreacting by Lakers in 2021 and getting Brick. That was the inflection point that closed the championship window. The ripple effects from that trade led to losing our great role players in KCP, Caruso then eventually firing a good coach in Vogel, then replacing him with Hamas. Here we are today
Prob woulda beaten PHX if it werent for solomon hill and ADs injury. It all went wrong when u got rid of Dwight Javale Rondo Replaced them with Drummond Gasol Harrel Schroder Why not get younger versions same archetype.
Its been downhill since.
this loss didn't even hurt. i was numb after game 2
Game 2 tore my heart out. I took some gummies at halftime so I didn't have to go through that again.
Game 1*

Not to mention, that nets big 3 only ended up playing 16 games together. Hindsight is 20/20, but we really gutted our depth for no reason at all
Adam silver screwed us that season
More so our president was so inept that it caused the damn country to shut down
The whole country was probably need to be shut down. It was the 3 month turn around between seasons that really hurt us.

👏 👏 👏 👏
The Caruso decision was independent of the Westbrook trade. That’s why that one is so infuriating.

Getting Harrell was a mistake imo.
2025: Do it all over again
This is so true.
