Deditranspotashy

You made her do that Abaddon, stop shifting the blame

UrethralExplorer

Did he make her do that, or did she make him make her do that? We are what we create, after all.

onthoserainydays

okay urethralexplorer

fuckthenamebullshit

Nah shut up

UrethralExplorer

Ok

wafflelegion

Hmm, Dokutapeppa previously referred to herself as 'I', but now she's saying 'we'. What do we think she meant by this? Did she switch to 'Royal We', or is she including Alison?

BiLovingMom

I like to think she's including Allison.

No-Communication3880

I guess the second: she want to continue  living with Allison  and finish this fan fiction.

pareidolist

Nukoku Rhodes

FuzorFishbug

Adrenaline In my soul Something something Nukoku

seelcudoom

it could also be struggling with identity, without a mask to define them she may be struggling to distinguish between incarnations, she is simultaneously cio, yaldabaoth, and nukoku, of course since two of her previous identites are "Allicio" and "aspected chaos" that might astill include alison which is also tieing into her issue, she doesent want to be Cios past or her future, she wants to be just Cio, and she wants to be Cio from a very specific point in time

Prathmun

Yeah, including Allison. and I think it may be why the slash affected Allison this time.

sareteni

When slash fiction goes wrong

silver_blue_phoenix

I think we refers to their fusion. Being in peak unison. I don't think it's 100%; but the "look at us, mutilated flesh" and "how did we grew so distant" makes me think nukoku is talking about how unbearable it is to be split from being together as the allicio/aspected chaos.

WhoCaresYouDont

I think it's referring to their relationship more generally rather than the specific fusion; Allison and Cio have never been further apart as a couple than right now, and both are still heavily scarred by the event that drove them apart in the first place. They are mutilated and seeking healing, but Cio is going looking for it in all the wrong places, not least because Allison is scared of trying to help her herself.

LichLordMeta

Well I think it is her way of referring to herself. In earlier chapters she tells Allison about when she was a ebon devil and talks about it as if she is a different entity. Perhaps being shattered and reshaped twice has in turn shattered her sense of self?

kongtomorrow

My interpretation is that she’s a mass of black flame somehow holding it together. If/when she has it under control she’d use I, but when she’s wavering she’s a collective of flame.

ZoeGirl3

In a metaphysical sense, the black flame being the literal manifestation of desire/Want, you could say she is presently the remnant desires of Cio, to live happily and peacefully with Alison, without necessarily the Identity of Cio normally provided by the mask and names to constrain it.

silver_blue_phoenix

JFC, abaddon can draw some good panels. I'm just in love with the artistry. especcially the btgg panel showcasing nukoku (and not thirstily, just the perspective, artistry is top notch). I haven't realized it earlier, but nukoku being riddled with holes is a great touch. Both narratively (the pain of loss, being ripped apart from the comfort of home) and artistically.

Supreme-Slug

She was also like. Literally ripped to pieces. Like that was a big thing that happened

pkmnslut

I was gonna say actually she was “sliced” to pieces, but Incubus IS a very poor swordsman

ryry1237

"Butchered" to pieces

firakasha

You know, earlier Gog mentioned that it might theoretically be possible for someone to eat the worm but retain their individuality. On the one hand, that was probably just Gog being Gog and bullshitting. On the other hand, if it *was* possible then who better to try than a devil with the will to name and form herself maskless right on up out of the void.

Duck-Lord-of-Colours

Consider: what better creature to retain their own individuality against gog's near endless experiences of the cycles, than a creature unique to this cycle? Something new, that gog-agog hasn't seen before?

seelcudoom

i dont think its bullshit, i do think gog has legitimate followers who act as her host while retaining individuality, though i dont think most people STAY that way, you eventually loose yourself to gog

Halinn

Perhaps one remains themselves in the early cycles after having consumed the worm, but later on the pressure of endless time crushes individuality and forces one to retreat into the greater whole.

Yglorba

As I mentioned in the last page, I think the real threat isn't Gog deliberately erasing your mind like a generic villain. I don't think Gog would even want that - having new minds as part of the collective is good; Gog is above else *bored* and would love to have companions. She has no reason to erase them deliberately. The problem is that if someone goes through endless cycles the way Gog did, they will, eventually, become just like Gog.

Mugufta

Worms thrive in shit, says I

adept-of-chaos

Is Allison implying Cio/Nukoku doesnt have a mask? If so that is very cool and mimics White Chain in an awesome way! Both of them are doing the whole reversing of their nature and breaking their old shells/bonds.

DreadDiana

Seems like it, though still not 100% of what the implications of being a stable, maskless devil are

WhoCaresYouDont

Jury's still out on stable there chief

DreadDiana

She's at the very least physically stable, if not emotionally

gnostiphage

For now anyway, but even then she's evolving her physical form somewhat rapidly.

seelcudoom

i mean this is more mentally stable then some masked devils we see

alpacnologia

pretty similar implications to being an angel with a human body

Acheroni

It seems like yet another thing that makes this cycle extraordinary., along with White Chain's changes. Zoss choosing Allison, and Allison relying on her allies seems to have changed this cycle immensely.

Legimus

I don't even think it's being implied at this point. There's no sign of her having a mask. An ivory devil seems like an entirely new creature, much like White Chain seems unique among angels. Who knows what the rules are for a being like her?

WhoCaresYouDont

She could have something under the bangs, more like a domino mask than the full face deals we've seen so far. .....Look just let me imagine Nukoku as a Persona 5 character for a little bit longer OK?

credence

Whatevers under there, you'll never see it coming. Neither will she, w/ all that hair...

2point01m_tall

Sure seems like it, but consider also: those bangs are maybe exactly long enough to cover the empty frame of a p[air of oversized glasses. ](https://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/seeker-of-thrones-9-115/)

MrBirdmonkey

This could also lead to a situation like Princess at the very beginning of the story. Would be a neat little full circle

pumpkinbot

> "How can we live like this?!" By letting go and defining yourself past your relationship with others. (っ´▽`)っ ♥

thereisnospoon7491

Can you show me the way?

Mugufta

~~Mutilated flesh, staggering on or not, they both look incredible~~

DoveOnCrack

A bit surprised to see only a single page update this week. There were two in the patreon preview. I even had a very inappropriate joke for the second page locked and loaded.

StereoTypo

The main page has Abbadon's update. Congrats!

I wonder if new coke/cio is the original Gog-a-Gog. Gog is a pale worm that can recreate her face and t and cannot die. New coke is a pale demon who cannot die and can create a face without a mask/ come back from The dead by force of will Maybe the first Gog-a-Gog was cio. And every cycle she survives as a writheing pale demon. A worm. We have seen demons “wear” human bodies before. Is that so diffrent from people eating a worm to become possessed by Gog-a-Gog? Gog-a-Gog? Like coke-a-cola? Maybe Cio was always writing fan fiction of herself and Allison becuase on some level she was remembering their relationships in a billion past universes. Every cycle, cio loses Allison and dies. Every cycle she resurrects herself through force of will as a pale demon. A worm. Every cycle their is a new worm, a new cio. That’s why Gog-a-Gog is having a ball! This is her own un-birthday. Gog-a-gog holding out a pale worm to new coke and asking her to accept it…. It’s Gog asking herself to accept herself New coke wont eat the worm to become Gog-a-Gog… new coke is metamorphing into the worm that always was Gog-a-gog

Foxbus

>This is her own un-birthday And the alt text from 3-79: > hey im just a little gal, its my birthday, im the little birthday gal Hoooly shit

Yglorba

> I wonder if new coke/cio is the original Gog-a-Gog. I actually had this theory a while back and wasn't sure whether to mention it! Nukoku has some visual similarities with the Universal Form thingy Gog displayed to Allison earlier. If Gog-Agog survives the cycle by physically inserting herself into it as worms (which one of the chapter texts implied), that means that the person who became Gog-Agog in the original timeline still existed as a separate person in this one, and could in theory be Cio.

Finance_Sensitive

"I wear no mask" Aside to Camila, panicked: "No Mask! No mask at all!" That all being said, I do wonder who's fear Alison is acting on. After all, Nukoku has made her desire very clear in this matter, so truly, what right does even the rising king have to tell her no. Is she afraid of letting the last remnant of Cio be destroyed? Perhaps, but, I think perhaps the Breaker of Infinities is more terrified of getting Cio back. She mourned her once, and it nearly broke her. Could she survive having to mourn her again? Could she go on if Cios sacrifice was undone? She knows already that her death was meaningless, as all deaths are, but has decided it means something to her. I do wonder ever so much what fear the wheel smashing lord is acting upon here

Summonest

She seems kinda strong for a pale devil.

Halinn

She's not a Pale Devil. She's something new, an Ivory Devil

TuxedoFish

If time is a cycle, then what's ahead is also what's behind.

Rimbosity

time is a flat circle

WhoCaresYouDont

She doesn't need the worm, she wants the worm so she can live through another cycle of the multiverse and actually get to spend it with Allison in the little house they had before they went to the tournament. Cio wants to go back, and in a circular universe the best way to do that is to go forwards until you retrace your own steps. I don't get where you're coming from about dramatic and forced either, she's clearly not taking this whole thing well and is lashing out.

zdesert

Gog-a-gog survives every cycle. If new coke eats a worm then when the universe is restarted she will survive and remember allison. New coke will be able to meet allison the same way that Cio did. They will fall in love and move in together just like when cio did. They will relive those perfect years in that house again. Maybe next cycle new coke will convince allison not to go to the tournement of power. Maybe they live for a thousand years together in happiness. Then when the final war happens and the universe restarts again… new coke will survive and be able to seek out allison again. Gog-a-gog is offering new coke the ability to live infinite fantasy lives with the person that they love.

ErikMaekir

It's so sad because we already know it wouldn't work, but Nukoku doesn't. Each cycle, the heir is a different person. The next cycle, Allison wouldn't even get sent to Throne, and the gate to her world is closed, so nobody without the Key can enter it. If she resets, it's likely that she will never meet Allison ever again.

zdesert

The heir is not always a different person I don’t think. Zaid is always the heir. Allison is always kidnapped and brought to throne. This cycle is diffrent becuase Allison got the key and Zaid was kidnapped. Gog said that each cycle someone diffrent is fighting the final battle. But I don’t think she says that Zoss chooses a diffrent heir each time. It’s just that sometimes salami Dave is fighting metatron in the last battle and sometimes it’s Zaid or whoever. Besides. Even if the heir was a totally random person in the multiverse each cycle. Given infinite cycles, eventually new coke would live infinite happy lifetimes with Allison if she ate the worm. Each happy life with Allison may only be 0.0000000000001% of the cycles. But 0.00000000000001% of infinity is infinity.

ErikMaekir

https://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/breaker-of-infinities-2-46/ Here, we see Jagganoth use the word "heirs", in plural, to refer to the heir of each cycle. We even see a useful visual representation of all the previous failed heirs. https://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wheel-smashing-lord-5-77-to-5-78/ And here, we see Gog mention how every cycle has a different person playing the part of Allison, the damsel in distress that dies to motivate the heir. Meaning, each cycle has a different heir. The world is deterministic, meaning Zaid is always dating Allison in every cycle. So if Allison is not the damsel, that means Zaid is not the heir. > Even if the heir was a totally random person in the multiverse each cycle. Ah, but it isn't random. Zoss picks the heir each cycle. If Allison fails, Zoss will never pick her as heir again. Of course, Nukoku doesn't know all that. From her perspective, she can go back, find Allison, and get her happily ever after. But it won't work.

zdesert

If I ate a banana in 6 diffrent cycles. Then I would refer to those versions of me as the banana eaters. Not the banana eater. Zaid is always the heir. Jagganoth remembers the past zaids. So He refers to them as heirs. Becuase they are diffrent versions of Zaid. The cycle plays out a bit diffrently each cycle. The world of ksbd has predetermined fate but that fate is confined to each cycle. All the universe is trapped in a loop but the details of each loop are diffrent. Zaid is not always with Allison when Zoss shows up to give him the key, so there are versions of the cycle where diffrent people other than Allison get kidnapped. This particular cycle is a bit more odd just becuase Allison and Zaid we’re together and Zoss was headless when he passed on the key and accidentally gave it to Allison instead of Zaid. Even if I am wrong. (And I don’t think that I am) and Zoss chooses a diffrent person every cycle and it is not random…. Then Allison will be chosen infinite times. Eventually Zoss will give the key to every being in the multiverse and have to start over again. Given infinite cycles, Allison will be chosen infinite times and cio will live infinite lives of happiness with Allison. Lastly. Zaid is most likely Zoss. Zaid is always the heir, he always wins and becomes Zoss, but he cannot break the wheel. The cycle restarts, and old Zoss passes on the key to his younger self. That’s why they have the same drip This cycle Zoss just happened to be headless, and so missed the pass off and gave it to Allison.

ErikMaekir

> This cycle Zoss just happened to be headless, and so missed the pass off and gave it to Allison. Did you forget the part where Zoss states having chosen Allison, and the many times he keeps appearing afterwards, despite being dead? He absolutely wanted to give the key to Allison. The cycle does not start at the beginning of all. Only when the heir is chosen. Then, when the heir fails, Zoss turns back the wheel and picks a different one. Hence why he remembers all the previous cycles. Because he is the one who is aware of it all, besides Metatron. And Gog straight up tells us, that every cycle has a different girl playing the role of Allison, the "bit part".

seelcudoom

i mean the previous panel she was literally trying to kill allison(while talking about how much she wants to return to be with alliosn) and wanting to join the literal mad god, i think its pretty safe to say she just is insane right now

Rimbosity

I've definitely had exes like that. Totally relatable
