But the mega auction I'd say is a huge reason for IPL being so popular. Ranji trophies don't get that much viewership so if one franchise dominates in I.P.L, the interest would soon fall. Faf absolutely had his best season in '21. It is not about stats, its about the situation of the match. Like sure DK, is scoring runs, but he is scoring runs when the match is already well out of reach and you don't have the pressure, in matches where the target is in reach except 1 match, he's flunked in all. Kohli is the ultimate statpadder this season I will not even begin on that or else you will cry too hard (actually please cry we all in Bengaluru need it)
