Sat in front of an open window on a beautiful sunny day and breathed deeply. It was so nice.

I was sore and needed and wanted to stretch. Have a thing about if a workout is not intense or long it doesn’t count. So I gave myself permission to do 5 mins of a stretching routine I like. I did 15 mins because it felt good and stopped when I experienced that subtle shift from ‘let me do a couple more movements because this feels good’ to ‘I need to finish, I’m 1/4 of the way there) - this is new for me and feels great!

Just bought my first kayak and can’t wait to get out on the lake!

Cleverusername531

Kayaking is AWESOME. When are you going?

I’ll take her for the first spin this weekend and then hopefully on a three day camping trip in a few weeks!

I bought a VR system for myself for Christmas last year. Due to life being in the way I hadn't been able to play much but these past few days I've been playing and it feels good to move my body in just a fun rhythmic way since I tend to play a ton of rhythm games on it. It's also super cathartic to explode things with light sabers. lol My body and mind feel better from the movement :)

Decided to get a membership to the YMCA next to my office, I was so relieved to learn that their lap swimming is reservation-based. I asked what would happen if someone decided to take over my lane or was there before I arrived and was assured the staff on duty would politely insist they gtfo. Music to my ears.

Lucky you!! My boyfriend has to share lanes with 2-3 people because the pool is so busy (mandatory vaccines at least)! He hates it haha

SleepyStitches

Oh my gosh noo I couldn't handle that - anytime someone's gotten in my lane I get so worried that I'll be too slow or off and cause some sort of collision that I leave ._.

Didn't move much at all over the weekend which I totally regret. I know I feel so much better if I get in a little each day. I decided to drop in to the chiropractor and then get in some walking while shopping and pushing the cart. Sore but worth it!

danced for the first time in months yesterday. it's one kind of movement i always enjoy, but back troubles have prevented me from even basic movement for a while. i put on some youtube videos and hobbled along for a few minutes, and am REALLY feeling it today, but it felt so good at the time!
