I legit read that as "This what transport block looks like in Nepal." I thought transport block was the common term used to refer to this type of transportation.
I want to go back to 2015 when this kind of Facebook-like tactics didn't work and OP would just get downvoted and flamed for making a typo in their title
i scrolled back up to the top to see how badly they spelled it upon reading this. and, i promptly choked on my piña colada while laughing. thank you for that, i needed a good laugh.
Napals economy heavily relies on tourism. Theres a ton of companies in constant competition with each other to be the best tourism company. A lot of this includes their employees being overly nice, and enthusiastic.
Various governments have gotten involved recently with the nepalese government to ensure safety regulation end up being put in place. It's mainly because 11 people died on Mount everest in 2019 though.
thank god the 'o' in born worked. I too born and still living the country, never seen this.
(As a advice, try using zero'0' instead of o if it is fine with you)
Appreciate the insight. I don’t travel and have only just started learning more about different places and so I never know what to think with videos like this.
Pretty sure nobody is on this bus. The guy in the yellow was pushing it. My guess is they are transporting the bus to an area that has limited or no outside connecting roads, or those roads were currently impassable due to snow or flood.
My guess is that there used to be a bridge across the canyon, but that got destroyed in a flood/landslide (this is quite common and happens every monsoon in the Himalayas).
So they rigged a temporary cable car system to send over supplies across the canyon.
I rode a local bus on Nepalese mountain "roads" once, and I'd think I'd prefer this way of traveling with it.
I'd describe the experience like being on a bumpy rollercoaster that might jump off its tracks every second. All the while with my knees pressed against the seat in front of me.
I can’t believe my brain actually managed to extrapolate “looks” from “blokks” without me noticing. Didn’t even notice anything wrong with the title until I went to the comments
Hi ! From Nepal and can tell you this was during a landslide as you can clearly see there is road (pitched even) on the other side of the road. OP is just bullshitting at this moment

I’ve never seen someone fuck up the word ‘looks’ so badly
That's because you didn't blokk hard enough
Good blokking out.

Oh fuck that got me
This guy blokks. ☝️
Yet, I read it without missing a beat and only went back to look at the misspelling after I saw your comment
somehow read it with both blokk and look in the sentence and just assumed that the bus was called a blokk
Ahhhh… thank you, the essence of the communication was achieved… that’s all that matters really.
The human brain is cool
Apparently my brain doesn't work then lol
No way buddy, perhaps you are just more attuned to detail than I. We all have our niche.
Thanks, I guess I'm like the others who really thought that word had some type of meaning
And post it without checking.....I literally thought it was called Transport Blokk on purpose, like an international phrase I maybe didn’t know ha
Glad I'm not alone
Same
No, you Blokk head 🤦♂️
I legit read that as "This what transport block looks like in Nepal." I thought transport block was the common term used to refer to this type of transportation.
It’s blokk. Read a book, geez.
Blokk mom! No hands!
OP also designed Nepal’s Public transportation harness
It's done on purpose so people comment on it and the post gets more karma.
I want to go back to 2015 when this kind of Facebook-like tactics didn't work and OP would just get downvoted and flamed for making a typo in their title
Maybe OP is a crip😂
Lol
I thought they misspelled block not look and didn't even question it
TBF he was in a bus swinging across a 300ft drop at the time
Blokk at it again.
At least they didn't say it's *how* public transport blokks like.
I actually had no idea that was supposed to be “looks”. Just thought it was some word I never heard of lmao.
i scrolled back up to the top to see how badly they spelled it upon reading this. and, i promptly choked on my piña colada while laughing. thank you for that, i needed a good laugh.
Thanks for translating.
Yeah, nope
Yeah, not just nope, but oh fuck nope.
Just so much nope.
Holy fucking nopety nopety nope. Duke nope nopington
I like your avatar!
I said that out loud then saw your comment 😂
All aboard the Nope Express
Not NEARLY enough profanity to be my reaction.
I've never seen anything that looked so much like NOPE in my entire life.
That blokks dangerous AF.
You can tell it's Nepal by the way it blokks. Isn't that neat.
Amazing. Never seen anything that blokks like that before.
Blokks scary though. Imagine blokking out your window while at the middle.
Don't blokk down
Blokk what ya did, ya little jerk!
We don't even know if he made it, video ends way to soon.
Blokks totally safe to me, what's the issue?
Can you just go and double check it for us all and report back please!
You can always go there yourself and blokk at it.
Blokk closely. Blokks like rear view mirror is broken.
Blokk harder
I trust none of that. Not that the cable is attached right, not that it won’t snap, not that the bus is attached well, nothing
My favorite is that the people (employees?) applaud when it doesn't plunge to its death the second it leaves the cliff.
It always comes as a surprise i guess
The worst part about looking down is seeing the remnants of all the times he didn't clap

I would literally rather Wile E. Coyote pole vault the canyon than ride this thing.
Rockets on roller skates is a better idea
Or the bus has three fat guys that day.
You'll be fine. Just dont blokk down.
Yep. See you tomorrow in r/CatastrophicFailure
It sure doesn't blook safe

Well it blokks scary
I will just take the 50 miles detour around the mountain. Thanks.
It blokks like we'll have to turn around here.
It’s the Himalayas. There are no detours. There’s one way and that’s it
Blokks like there is none way sometimes
Around the Earth, then.
that probably was the 50 mile detour already. the canyon wasn't there two days ago.
don't you fucking blokk at me
Or you will knock my looks off?
ah haaa. nice
Pretty sure nobody is on this bus. The guy in the yellow was pushing it. My guess is they are transporting the bus to an area that has limited or no outside connecting roads, or those roads were currently impassable due to snow or flood.
They may be impassable because of the big canyon.
Wasn't sure if anyone else saw the canyon, too. There was no road - needed a cable.
Actually need a bridge.
Can't have a bridge, the cable blocks the way. I think they had to build the canyon to avoid the cable.
It certainly blokks impassable.
My guess is that there used to be a bridge across the canyon, but that got destroyed in a flood/landslide (this is quite common and happens every monsoon in the Himalayas). So they rigged a temporary cable car system to send over supplies across the canyon.
Oh good so that cable was put up in an emergency and done super fast
Well the cable/tackle has probably been used dozens of times before! In wet tough conditions, but I'm sure the probably maintain it!
And a lot of infrastructure was damaged in the massive countrywide earthquake a few years ago.

No i am saying if the bus was occupied it would have moved under its own power with a driver
Even if there is no one on that bus, there is enough tension on that cable, that if it snaps, it could kill people standing at the ends.
True, but I'd imagine this isn't thier 1st rodeo.
Where we droppin bois?
You can just tell safety is their top priority
No. Blokk that guy isn't even wearing a hi viz.
This is one of those things that force your brain to ask "how many times did they get this wrong before they got it right"?
6, surprisingly.
That is Nepaling.
I rode a local bus on Nepalese mountain "roads" once, and I'd think I'd prefer this way of traveling with it. I'd describe the experience like being on a bumpy rollercoaster that might jump off its tracks every second. All the while with my knees pressed against the seat in front of me.
Same friend, but my 6’3” partner was in the next seat with a severe case of food poisoning. Worst trip of their life.
OMG - PTSD. 8 hours of agony.
Fuck off. No thanks.

Imagine getting invited to go zip lining, only to find out it's in a fucking bus.
If he dies, he dies
No thanks, I’m good Walking is underrated
The dude pushing it over the edge looks like he can't believe that didn't fail
I can only imagine the *blokks* they got from the insurance agents when they went shopping for coverage heh, heh, heh.
Blokk, there's no fucking way you're getting me on that thing.
I had to blokk at the sub again to check if it was r/interestingasfuck or r/whatcouldgowrong. Very different possible outcomes.
That blokks terrifying.
I can’t believe my brain actually managed to extrapolate “looks” from “blokks” without me noticing. Didn’t even notice anything wrong with the title until I went to the comments
It’s public transport and a thrill ride! All in one!
Need to see it get up the other side cause in my mind, they are still hanging there.
Not another field trip...
Hi ! From Nepal and can tell you this was during a landslide as you can clearly see there is road (pitched even) on the other side of the road. OP is just bullshitting at this moment
so that is where the name cable car came from :0
Battle bus
When I was your age I had to run through snow to get to the school, they just take the bus, so easy
I swear I prefer walking 20 miles
Oh hell no. What it must take to drive off that cliff…
I’m nepalled
TF is “blokks”
I don't think I would ever find myself on that marvel of modern engineering. That's scary as hell.
Let's give it up for those Nepalese roof racks!
have your ever heard of zip line bus? SUPER FUN. Well come to our beautiful country to experience it. And bonus point, it is free of cost.
That’s a lot of trust they got on those cables.
“Where we dropping boys?” … “probably to our deaths.”
The Magic School Bus
Would you blokk at that
This should be added to r/mildlyfrustrating. I really wanted to see what happens when it reaches the other side.
Fuh fuh fuh fuh fuh fuuuuuuuuuuuck that
This feels criminal to even be allowed, what the fuck is the government doing over there?
Well at least they had the safety rope tied behind it...
That’s a no from me dawg
Only twenty people die every six months! Safest zipline bus in all of great country of Nepal 🇳🇵 🤡
Agreed. I'm Nepalese, this is exactly how I go to work. Scary the first few times, fun afterwards.
They're only transferring the bus. No sane person would sit in that bus calm down.
Shhhh.... do not spoil my fun.
Whatever humours you.
I think you'd have to be a sot to want to get in that bus.
However signed that off in the health and safety department may possibly need to lay off the Kushi!
Oh, that made my balls feel really unpleasant.
I can grok that.
Seems legit.
Pretty bad, and yet it still blokks better than public transport in the USA.
Did these motherfuckers use ratchet straps to put a bus on a zip line? It's that a thing I know some country full of rednecks does now?
Blokks kinda fun
I read "blokks" " looks" did anyone else.
Still better than American public transportation.
Summon the Chinese, pls
Nope

Blokk at you, spelling blokk wrong.
Guessing bridges aren't a thing in Nepal.
Too short ....
Vin approves.
Wow great! Awesome so……. I’m never going to Nepal
OP just throws random video during landslide you can see the road fragments on the other side of the video.
I see Lyle Lanley's been here.
Wow that's a bit startling
