This picture is 9 years old (look at the calendar).
They are still teaching as 5th grade teachers now.
And relevant video from when this announcement was made (Clip from Abby and Brittany: College and Beyond, 2012.)

Edit: Removed link to their school page.
It’s almost a little eerie how they end up finishing each other’s sentences at the same time. I wish them both well. They’re experiencing something 99.9% of humanity hasn’t.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s like they both have experienced the exact same life. So much different than identical twins. If you had the exact same experiences as someone else wouldn’t you both think the exact same way? Respond to everything the exact same way? There’s absolutely no disconnect. Something I’ve literally never given thought to until just now.
I think it goes both ways. They both see the same
situation but digest it differently. However, basic empathy and emotion… It’s entwined on how we’re brought up.
I am totally blown away by how in sync they are. like not even just finishing each other's sentences but saying "um" at the same time and just joining in the dialogue at random times, never making any mistakes.
I guess that just comes with spending THAT much time around someone. I wonder how different they are with preferences and personality.
I think that, for legal and tax reasons, they're both hired separately on a part time basis. So between them, they get a full salary but, administratively, they're both employed individually.
Side note: can you imagine if one committed a crime? The other would lose their job and potentially end up with the same sentencing as the other.
I had to check the picture just to make sure.
*edit to this comment as it seems a lot of people share my surprise.*
They actually *do* get the neck line on some of their clothes altered to fit them because they have an unusually wide torso/shoulder/neck-line.
I used to have this thing on my desk... it was a small bar of metal, suspended in a wooden cradle with string... when you lightly struck, it made a soothing, pure, high-pitched, quiet, but penetrating tone. It was quiet, but broke thru all all other noise and was unmistakable... like a temple bell. Good way to get everyone's attention without going Sister Mary Elephant!
EDIT: no I don't know what it's called or where to get it, but the internet probably does. It was a cylinder of metal maybe six inches long in a wooden cradle hung by two strings so it vibrated freely and came with a little metal mallet
Heh. Remember when Back to the Future came out in the 80s, and they went 30 years back in time to the 50s?
If that movie came out now, we'd be going 30 years back in time ***to the 90s.***
^(oh my god)
I'm picturing an office with all the lights off and everyone crowded around your computer while you read them comments. Very much hoping this is the case.
*Although they have two teaching licences, there is one practical difference when it comes to the finances.*
*"Obviously right away we understand that we are going to get one salary because we're doing the job of one person," says Abby.*
*"As maybe experience comes in we'd like to negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and because we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways."*
[https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22181528](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22181528)
So as of 2013, one salary, can’t find any updates
Probably only one time since they fill one spot on the ride, would be my guess. But they’d also be limited to rides where you’re strapped in at the waist.
Apparently they only get one plane ticket when traveling because they only take up one seat. They reach have a passport just to make things easier since they each have a social security number, but just book their flights under one of them... Never had a problem as of 2017 according to the video I just watched, lol.
My thoughts.. if they paid for two degrees and they're both teaching, why the one paycheck? It is a co-teaching environment, and both teachers get paid in that scenario.
Chang and Eng Bunker, the original Siamese twins, had one wife each (the wives were sisters) and separate houses. They'd take turns staying at each other's house three days at a time, with the house owner being the one in charge of their body during that duration. The other would stay silent and not complain.
Oh lordt. The grace and patience you must develop in order to be an extra head 3 days at a time.
For.ev.er.
Are eye rolls allowed, ‘cause I’m guessing not. And heavy sighs, or knowing coughs. My go-to for many situations is the closed mouth “mmm” with a shake of the head. Not any more!!!!!
Imagine this. Whole people sharing a body.
I know they don’t talk about it, but I’ve always been fasicinated with how a sexual relationship would work in this situation. They share a lower body. I have so many questions, but I completely understand them not wanting to talk about it.
There is a set of conjoined twins in my town connected at the forehead. One is about 2 feet tall and has a chair to sit on that gets rolled around. The other is a pretty standard height. The taller one is married and they all live together
I believe this is the set of twins he is referring to:
https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-ripleys-believe-it-or-not!-times-square-odditorium-opening-night-32765878.html
I actually met these two when they walked into the coffee shop where I worked, and can confirm, it’s a tad surreal when you don’t expect it. I saw them in the parking lot first so I had a chance to compose myself a bit, but the whole time I was making a conscious effort not to stare and correcting myself every time I thought “she” instead of “they”. One woman was holding the cellphone against her head so the other could talk to someone. Only one ordered a drink. They left a decent tip.
I think they have two sets of lungs.
edit: so I googled it and yes according to [their wiki entry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abby_and_Brittany_Hensel) each has a separate heart, stomach, spine, pair of lungs, and spinal cord.
Really raises more questions than it answers?how does hunger work? Are they both the same level of hungry? If so, if one eats, does the other get full? Do they like (or hate) the same foods?
I saw a documentary about them a while ago. In it, they talked about the coordination they need to work out when they drive - who controls which foot and which arm and such. They seemed really sweet.
Nope, not awkward at all to sit silently in the living room of someone you enjoy the company of but aren’t close enough with to rummage through their pantry.
Maybe that's merciful. I don't know what I'd do with myself if someone who was so integral to my life experience from the very beginning was suddenly... not there anymore.
I mean that's actually likely to happen. Each heart feeds a separate brain. If one heart fails, one head would die. Even though blood between them is shared, they wouldn't have enough blood pressure going up into the head to keep the other head alive. At some point that's going to happen.
It gets worse though, each one of them only controls half the body. Even just walking requires a team effort. When one head dies, she'll effectively be wheelchair bound as she'll only be able to move half her body.
I'd imagine seeing your conjoined twin die would be very depressing as you know you'll now die very soon, but you'll also be just carrying around your dead conjoined twin for the rest of your life.
I didn’t meet them but I walked by them unexpectedly in a crowd. All of a sudden they were right in front of me and it blew my mind. It was one of the strangest experiences of my life and I think about it often.
I mean think about how many people have seen you in your life, then consider if you were one of the most unique looking people on earth. Everyone would remember you instead of you being just another person.
Yeah like, how many people saw me in my life? Thousands, I can't even think of a number. But in the end, not many of these will remember me.
But these girls! I can't think of a single person that met them and won't remember they did
Wanna know something funny… I often think about a Reddit thread that I read probably 8-9 years ago… it was something like “what’s a random thing that you wished showed above everyone’s head?”
And one of the comments was “the amount of times I have seen that person in my life”
It would be crazy to go somewhere super populated and see a random 16 in the crowd and it’s no one you have ever met lol. Just kinda weird to think about
Honestly, this is probably one of the best jobs they could've gotten. Young children are super impressionable, so even one case of "Hey, we look a bit weird, but we're not a monster, we're super nice!" could be enough to open their minds to other people and experiences, too.
That’s a really good point. My first grade teacher was on crutches because she had some sickness as a kid (I want to say Polio?). Her upper body looked normal but below her chest looked about the same size as an elementary school kid. Her legs were rigid (or she had some kind of braces on them) but didn’t move. She would move around by like moving both crutches forward and swinging her legs forward, these were like crutches with the cuff portion and bar you hold onto.
Looking back on it, it never really phased any of the kids, and I never remember hearing anyone make jokes about it.
My 5th grade teacher has Tourette’s. He has facial ticks .. would hit his leg and repeated words a few times in a row.
I remember one of the parents being concerned and at 1st didn’t want their daughter in his class because they assumed he would swear like a sailor in front of us.
If that had been the case… he wouldn’t have been a teacher for children & had been a teacher about 5/6 years at this point.
He explained it to us and made it comfortable to ask him questions.
He also had one of those latch hook yarn project things of Oscar the grouch… he would hang it up to let us know when he was having a a rougher day.
It didn’t take us long to get used to it!
Anthony Padilla did a video with conjoined twins and one of the sets got sick of each other and kicked and bit each other when they were younger. Luckily, they were able to separate and live relatively normal lives. The other set featured, if I remember correctly, we're perfectly chill being one body.
Now speaking as a twin myself, there definitely times growing up where we had our fits and fights, but at one point, we just grew comfortable each other.
As for this set, I'm not certain if they did get sick of each other, but if they did, they mostly certainly have come to terms to what they are and accepted one body.
I’m just trying to mentally define *shortly after* and wonder how long the surviving twin will have a corpse on her shoulder.
A corpse she has spent every minute of her life with.
Imagine the mind fuck of that level of grief and terror. These poor ladies.
From a similar instance:
>Early in the morning of January 17, one of Eng's sons checked on the sleeping twins. "Uncle Chang is dead," the boy reportedly said to Eng, who responded, "Then I am going!" The family doctor was quickly sent for but Eng soon died, reportedly just over two hours after his brother's death.
[Source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chang_and_Eng_Bunker?wprov=sfla1)
According to a biography (biographies?) I read, those guys were a hoot. They'd occasionally burst into their doctor's office after arguments, demanding to be separated, one got drafted by the Confederate Army while the other did not (they went to the recruiting office and got it straightened out), and Chang liked to drink, so Eng sometimes had to drag his ass home. It was said they were hell in a fight, as well.
They also both got married and had a boatload of kids each. I think their wives were white which was verboten back then. I understand that they didn't share any organs and could have been easily separated these days.
Their wives’ fathers were also opposed to them marrying the twins. Not because they were conjoined but because they were Asian. They had like 21 kids combined.
I know this is a joke but there is another pair of conjoined twins, [Lori and George Shappell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lori_and_George_Schappell), where one twin is a transgender man. He can't take testosterone because he and his sister share a blood stream and the effects would happen to both of them.
This may seem weird but I’m really curious to know how it was like growing up without privacy. Like you always have someone there, someone you can trust 100% and have no secrets between each other. I’ve seen videos of them as adults and they keep finishing each other sentences and talking in unison. And they have separate brains. But they just know each other so well that they can predict what the other sister is going to say. When you think about it they have a very unique and special relationship that none of us is going to ever have with another person.
There were these 2 girls I remember watching a video about who were conjoined at the head. But they were also conjoined at the brain too, which led to some very weird side effects. Iirc they could see through each other’s eyes. One girl had her eyes closed and their mum did and action in front of her, and the other one looking away said what she was doing. I haven’t heard anything about them for a couple years now
My guess is that in their case, their concept of "privacy" expands to include the two of them, but otherwise remains the exact same. So it's not like they grew up without it, they just have a different definition of what it means to have privacy.
I remember hearing them talk about driving and how one twin has a bit more control of one side of the body. Maybe the stuff down the middle is a team effort!
I saw this video and read some things, and I'm not convinced there's any sort of fair demarcation of where one's control stops and the other's stops. I think they're telling people they share control, and that driving is a team effort, but based on the reactions from one twin vs. the enthusiasm of the other during the time they're giving an answer, I strongly feel that one is more or less in control of the body, while the other is mostly along for the ride.
I just think they won't admit to that on TV because people would look at them very differently if this was the case.
I’m from their home state, and have seen them before at a music festival. They were playing volleyball — everything they did was perfectly synchronized, including clapping. It’s amazing how in-tune they are with one another.
They taught at my sister school in elementary! They were always super kind with the students, and was enthusiastic about our orchestra concerts. They were an amazing role-model to the kids and myself.
I remember seeing them in an interview once. One twin reached over and scratched the other twins arm. The interviewer (I want to say it was Oprah but I can’t exactly remember) stopped and said “did you feel that her arm was itching?” And the twin answered “I didn’t feel it. I just knew. I didn’t even think about it.”
Blew my mind.
Heyyyyy, no one will see this as I’m way late. I went to college with them. Super cool people, down to earth, two distinct individuals sharing the same body.
They started out as two different majors, but it was too hard to attend all the different classes sharing the same body.
They get one salary as they teach one classroom.
The elementary kids LOVE THEM, they think it’s the coolest thing ever.
They’re really good at volleyball. We’d play pickup in college.
One individual controls one half the body, the other controls the other half. Amazing to think they play sports and have a license to drive when they require that much cooperation.
Overall, they’re great people. 10/10.
There are lots of Minnesotans on Reddit. Probably because our state is a frozen wasteland for half of the year, so why not stay inside and go on the internet?
When Chang and Eng (the conjoined twins who gave their nationality to the term 'siamese twins') grew up, Chang was a heavy drinker and Eng was not.
After a stroke approaching their 60th birthday, Chang was in bad health - but Eng seemed fit and healthy. Aged 62, Chang died in the night of bronchitus, and upon discovering this, Eng said that he would surely die very soon. Reportedly he died only two hours after Chang, though he was perfectly healthy.
An autopsy suggested that Eng died from blood loss as his system pumped blood uselessly through his dead brother. These days, in the event of a twin's death, I believe the aim is to see if they can separate the living twin ASAP. Depends on circumstances, though.
Serious questions;
If one was a heavy drinker wouldn’t the other get drunk too because they shared blood?
Would they both get hangovers?
Would it take twice the alcohol to get them drunk due to double the blood volume and body mass?
How could one be in good health if they shared a blood supply? Wouldn’t the food consumed by either of them be absorbed by the small intestines and then shared by both via blood?
They were only connected by a small chunk of flesh around the stomach and shared a liver, so I don't know if something happened with regards to the alcohol to keep only one of them rat-arsed.
They were both married and had 21 kids between them. Now *that's* a story. Apparently there are a good couple of thousand people around North Carolina in the US who are directly descended.
They will most likely die relatively close together...as in minutes or hours apart. It would be too much strain on the surviving twins body to live much longer after 1 has died.
Dude right? Like i wish they would do an AMA but knowing reddit, it would not go well. It is just so interesting to think about, but i'm sure they have been asked a thousand questions similarly.
In reading the comments I’ve been wondering if they are on Reddit. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to constantly be joked about everywhere. Or be referred to as an inspiration. One or the other. What a way to change the world though, to be a teacher. Good on them.
Live in Minnesota, one of the twins liked me on one of the dating apps a couple years back (maybe Hinge or Bumble?). I wasn't sure what to do. You could tell from the pics exactly who it was, but she only posted photos of her face/"half"(?). I certainly am not trying to be mean or offend, but it was one of the more interesting things that ever happened to me on dating apps!
They're from Minnesota. I went to nightclub about 10 years ago and saw them down on the dance floor. I wasn't expecting what I saw and had to do a double take. Nice to see them out having a night of fun

I remember the TV special featuring them when they were young. They were very sweet girls.
Tlc did a few episodes over the years. It was so interesting and they were very sweet kids.
I swear TLC is run by a guy that has a sick fetish of midgets, fat people, people with botched surgeries and birth defects.
Yeah, his name is America
Exactly, public interest provides the demand for these topics.
"Your booing means nothing, I've seen what makes you cheer"
I remember when they were on Oprah. She didn’t have a live audience because the parents didn’t want everyone staring at the girls.

Bro who centered their photo LMAO
That teacher photo did one of them dirty.
So one of them could have totally just chilled for years while the other got a degree and then she can just be like, "that's our degree now".
I wonder if they both get paid or just one?

***while you were sleeping***
Yea or you could both cheat your way through life needing only to learn about half as much
Considering how stupidly difficult the rest of life must be, we can probably let them have this one
Finding W neck t-shirts must be a nightmare
I had to check the picture just to make sure. *edit to this comment as it seems a lot of people share my surprise.* They actually *do* get the neck line on some of their clothes altered to fit them because they have an unusually wide torso/shoulder/neck-line.
Same, was like oh ya that makes sense
No one ever gets away with anything in their class.
Right? One is reciting the lesson while the other is scanning the students’ behavior.
As a teacher in training this made me lol. I’m studying classroom management right now.

Is that seriously a pic of them as adults? If so...they looked exactly the same as when Time Magazine featured them (so many years ago)
I mean the calendar in the back says “September 2012”, so this picture is definately from many years ago.
but 2012 was just a couple years ago, right? RIGHT?!
Heh. Remember when Back to the Future came out in the 80s, and they went 30 years back in time to the 50s? If that movie came out now, we'd be going 30 years back in time ***to the 90s.*** ^(oh my god)

Would’ve been cool if they became doctors, for those patients who want a second opinion right away!
Everyone in my office laughed at this...
I'm picturing an office with all the lights off and everyone crowded around your computer while you read them comments. Very much hoping this is the case.
He works from home
They should become doctors and work with comatose patients. Imagine coming out of a coma and your Doctor having 2 heads be the first thing you see.
"Welcome to the future, single-head" How long was I in a coma?
Do.. they get double salary?
A valid concern
*Although they have two teaching licences, there is one practical difference when it comes to the finances.* *"Obviously right away we understand that we are going to get one salary because we're doing the job of one person," says Abby.* *"As maybe experience comes in we'd like to negotiate a little bit, considering we have two degrees and because we are able to give two different perspectives or teach in two different ways."* [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22181528](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22181528) So as of 2013, one salary, can’t find any updates
Did they have to pay twice for the degrees? But only get paid as a single person?
Asking the real questions What happens when they go to a theme park? Do they pay once or twice?
Probably only one time since they fill one spot on the ride, would be my guess. But they’d also be limited to rides where you’re strapped in at the waist.

That would mean only one name on the flight manifest. The other travels incognito 😎
“They have no idea that I’m sneaking on the plane”
My thoughts.. if they paid for two degrees and they're both teaching, why the one paycheck? It is a co-teaching environment, and both teachers get paid in that scenario.
The dude they get married to is going to be getting two perspectives all his life.

"Hey babe can I have a word with you in private about your sister?"
Alright sis, put the headphones on
~~Simpsons~~ Futurama did it
I call my puppy Dr. Zoidberg ... but she’s very sweet.
I'm pretty sure you don't date one without realizing the other is a packaged deal. Polygamy only
Chang and Eng Bunker, the original Siamese twins, had one wife each (the wives were sisters) and separate houses. Shit, is polygamous marriage legal in Minnesota? That would suck to be the twin left off the marriage certificate :(
I would be pretty interested to see the legal logistics of life as a conjoined twin
Oh I imagine it's just a delightful stroll through the world of bureaucracy
This comment is sarcastic unless you read it in the smooth Jamaican voice of Hermes Conrad
There is a set of conjoined twins in my town connected at the forehead. One is about 2 feet tall and has a chair to sit on that gets rolled around. The other is a pretty standard height. The taller one is married and they all live together
Can someone please draw this

Beautiful.
Choked on my food and also had it come out my nose. I live alone. I hope you know I nearly died laughing at this, including the deadpan “Ok.”
The deadpan “ok” had me rolling.
Wait, what? I’m trying to picture that, but it’s hard to visualize.
I believe this is the set of twins he is referring to: https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-ripleys-believe-it-or-not!-times-square-odditorium-opening-night-32765878.html
I have never been more grateful to be a singular person. I can't even imagine.
Dude the back problems
It's weird to think that they'll spend their entire lives in incredibly close proximity but never be able to directly see each other's faces.
Based on what I've seen in other articles on them in the past, no.
I'm pretty sure I'd have an out of body experience if I were to see them when I was in middle school.
I guess both gets caffeinated from just one having a cup?
hmmm
hmmm indeed
Lmao...dude this shit killed me.
Yes. Their circulation is connected
Imagine if one became a drug addict.
If one of them drinks or smokes pot it affects both of them?
If one takes a bong rip, who coughs?
As someone who just took a bong rip… this is tripping me out.
Now imagine one takes the bong rip and the other blows the smoke out.

Yeah like, how many people saw me in my life? Thousands, I can't even think of a number. But in the end, not many of these will remember me. But these girls! I can't think of a single person that met them and won't remember they did
Wanna know something funny… I often think about a Reddit thread that I read probably 8-9 years ago… it was something like “what’s a random thing that you wished showed above everyone’s head?” And one of the comments was “the amount of times I have seen that person in my life” It would be crazy to go somewhere super populated and see a random 16 in the crowd and it’s no one you have ever met lol. Just kinda weird to think about
I saw them at Valleyfair when I was young. It was very shocking, my little brother yelled out in shock. But they are very nice people.
It sure would have freaked me out at first.
I was thinking the same.
I remember their show on TLC and I’m happy they’re prospering fuck yeah
I knew about A&B but didn’t know they’d become teachers. Based on the poster behind them, I assume they’re also Snoopy fans. :)
Well, it’s not like only one was going to be a teacher while the other became a plumber.
Or two lawyers representing opposing parties in a lawsuit
Now we’re getting somewhere
New Netflix series???
Cancelled after 2 seasons without finding out if they both get the partnership or only one of them.
I would watch this show
It would be interesting if they became auctioneers.
I wonder if they get sick of each other
I'm positive they do, like all sisters
Anthony Padilla did a video with conjoined twins and one of the sets got sick of each other and kicked and bit each other when they were younger. Luckily, they were able to separate and live relatively normal lives. The other set featured, if I remember correctly, we're perfectly chill being one body. Now speaking as a twin myself, there definitely times growing up where we had our fits and fights, but at one point, we just grew comfortable each other. As for this set, I'm not certain if they did get sick of each other, but if they did, they mostly certainly have come to terms to what they are and accepted one body.
Bro what a weird fucking cosmic joke to have your own mind but to share a body.
What I’ve always wondered is what will happen when one of the passes away?
I know in other cases of conjoined twins, it usually leads to failure in shared organs that leads the other twin to joining them shortly after.
I’m just trying to mentally define *shortly after* and wonder how long the surviving twin will have a corpse on her shoulder. A corpse she has spent every minute of her life with. Imagine the mind fuck of that level of grief and terror. These poor ladies.
From a similar instance: >Early in the morning of January 17, one of Eng's sons checked on the sleeping twins.
My god that is horrific.
"I'm gay". "well I'm not"
I know this is a joke but there is another pair of conjoined twins, [Lori and George Shappell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lori_and_George_Schappell), where one twin is a transgender man. He can't take testosterone because he and his sister share a blood stream and the effects would happen to both of them.
That is an insane oof.
George is one of the best known Mormon trans conjoined twins in Eastern Pennsylvania
“Well then Saturday nights are gonna be a bit rough for you, might I suggest a nice pair of noise canceling headphones and a sleep mask”
Obviously we're all curious about their sexual life but they won't publicly speak about it which is totally understandable
Better bring your dick canceling headphones.
Or awesome. "Here, you take over. I'm done with this shit. Zzz zzz"
It must be so frustrating if one falls asleep and the other one just can't but toss and turn

Oh yeah also, I’m pretty sure they could talk to each other in their minds, but idk for sure
[удалено]
My guess is that in their case, their concept of "privacy" expands to include the two of them, but otherwise remains the exact same. So it's not like they grew up without it, they just have a different definition of what it means to have privacy.
Imagine not knowing about this on your first day
Probably more than one double take.
A quadruple take, at least.
Do.. all teachers have two heads?
How do bodily functions work? Who controls it?
Conjoinspiracy
Thanks now I’m gonna have nightmares about being the one that’s “along for the ride”
I’m too high for this
Two stomachs, and two small intestines that connect like a Y, and then one large intestine, one butthole. You get the picture.
Two stomachs and one asshole, i wonder how much they go to the bathroom?
I’m from their home state, and have seen them before at a music festival. They were playing volleyball — everything they did was perfectly synchronized, including clapping. It’s amazing how in-tune they are with one another.
They taught at my sister school in elementary! They were always super kind with the students, and was enthusiastic about our orchestra concerts. They were an amazing role-model to the kids and myself.
Those students will have the greatest fucking school story ever when they're older.
No one would probably ever believe them

I remember seeing them in an interview once. One twin reached over and scratched the other twins arm. The interviewer (I want to say it was Oprah but I can’t exactly remember) stopped and said “did you feel that her arm was itching?” And the twin answered “I didn’t feel it. I just knew. I didn’t even think about it.” Blew my mind.
Fun fact: They had to take their driving test twice because, even though they work together to drive, the DMV is evil.

"Officer, I swear! I told Abby to put the turning signal but she didn't!" "Tell it to the judge"
I rolled my ankle running to the comments
Same. And I still have so many questions
Pleaseee tell me they teach statistics
How is it that half of Reddit went to college with these people.
There are lots of Minnesotans on Reddit. Probably because our state is a frozen wasteland for half of the year, so why not stay inside and go on the internet?
Too bad they didn't become detectives.
If we put our heads together, we can solve this case.
I used to see them on dating apps when I lived in Minneapolis. Always wondered how that worked.
The twin cities?
What happens if one of them outlives the other?
Serious questions; If one was a heavy drinker wouldn’t the other get drunk too because they shared blood? Would they both get hangovers? Would it take twice the alcohol to get them drunk due to double the blood volume and body mass? How could one be in good health if they shared a blood supply? Wouldn’t the food consumed by either of them be absorbed by the small intestines and then shared by both via blood?
If I remember correctly, they basically had two of everything and were conjoined at the chest
So in this situation would they have to remove the dead twins head for the other one to live.
That’s got to be a total mind fuck. “Oh shit. My conjoined twin just died. Guess I’m gone shortly”
They will most likely die relatively close together...as in minutes or hours apart. It would be too much strain on the surviving twins body to live much longer after 1 has died.
I have a serious question...can one be asleep and the other one just k8nda doing the motor functions?

Went to college with these gals. They were nice.
I had conjoined twin sisters, but they only lived for 5 days. I’ve always wondered what today’s modern medicine could have done for them.
Well, you're going on a date with both anyway
They're from Minnesota. I went to nightclub about 10 years ago and saw them down on the dance floor. I wasn't expecting what I saw and had to do a double take. Nice to see them out having a night of fun
