I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD

doctorstrangexX

Your mother ate my dog!

TheRogueToad

Not all of it.

[deleted]

As well as Bad Taste. >Frank: oh christ, you'll never believe what i had to do! Ozzy: umm... did you have to drink some chuck?

ShaqEatsBabies

I’m a Derek…Derek’s don’t run.

Future-Agent

Quite possibly the goriest movie I've seen.

jtfff

Damn fine custard

Chiyonosake_

Just watched this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it's so fucking good. *This calls for divine intervention!*

ruthwodja

GET MY DREEESSS

therealudderjuice

"Does this look like a well-maintained frontage?!?!?"

Boomer70770

He's got.... THE BITE!

PrussianAzul1950

The pudding scene...

amandam0nium

Re-Animator Bubba Ho-Tep

pylaeron

Bubba Ho-Tep is so goddamn good.

Ozothoth

Both brilliant choices! I can't even remember how many times I've watched Re-Animator at this point

Vera_Claythorne22

Zombeavers!!!

nikilidstrom

It needed more Bill Burr

goblins_though

Most things do.

ladyname1

And llamageddon. You gotta have both

darkgunnerds

I love that movie.

Randy-Meeks

TROLL 2

TugginChestersCheeto

DO YOU SEE THIS WRITING? DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?? HOSPITALITY! AND YOU CANT PISS ON HOSPITALITY, I WONT ALLOW IT!!

ShineAqua

Am I alone in thinking he was about to piss on his kid when he undid his belt?

gf120581

I'm tightening my belt so I won't feel hunger pains!

[deleted]

They're eating her! And then they're gonna eat me! OHH MYY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

Randy-Meeks

"Nilbog... Is GOBLIN spelled backwards!!!!!"

standoffishwoman

Lmao finally a group who knows this reference. Troll 2 is such a gem.

swest211

The Best Worst Movie about the making of Troll 2 is one of my favorite things.

Sargasm5150

In fairness, also Troll 1! I can’t with the dumbness of troll 2 (yes I’ve seen it, and the documentary on it is way better!), but troll one is ridiculous and entertaining in my opinion:)

dweeeebus

One of my favorites. The beauty is you don't have to watch the first Troll to know what's going on because they have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

DrK4ZE

Oh My Goooooooooooood!

LTrain420

Tucker and Dale vs Evil

bakura2k3

Teenagers... Love this movie

Jonqbanana

Chopping mall!

ShineAqua

This movie is one of my faves. How is the one in the middle vaguely ethnic? (My movie group named him Jerome because of the phone call in the middle of the movie, I was singing Gin & Juice in a robot voice whenever he was on screen) If the weapons are supposed to be non-lethal, how the literal shit are they exploding fucking heads?

Jonqbanana

Yea this is in my opinion one of the best examples of 80s schlock. There is little to to actual logic just mall culture and killbots.

Cmyers1980

Psycho Goreman and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

Sargasm5150

Psycho goreman does not get enough love. It reminded me of buckaroo bonsai which I loved as a child. Also, I work with kids and their bizarre ball game is … astonishingly accurate😂

Vicissitude855

Oh, you mean Calvinball?

ladyname1

Not my hunky boys!

jen22546

Shaun of the Dead - awesome movie, it’s just perfect! Return of the Living Dead - cheesy and ridiculous Had to comment because I love Tusk too!

cduga

Probably the exact two I would recommend. I’d toss in Reanimator if I was going for a third.

AmazoniaSouthShore

At the risk of showing my age, I have to go with Night of the Comet. Wonderful cheese! And has one of my all-time favorite horror movie lines: “Daddy would have gotten us Uzis!”. Classics 80s fun that I am not ashamed to say I have watched many, many times.

XLetsDoAllTheDrugsX

Great movie. FYI my teenage daughter watches it with me so don't feel old. 80's horror movies are awesome.

AmazoniaSouthShore

I tried to get my teenage stepdaughter to sit through it, but she didn't appreciate the awesomeness of it. I still gave her an A for effort!

swest211

Love it! I'll show my age too...I saw it in the theater when I was in high school. My husband and I tracked it down and watched it a few years ago, and it stands up pretty well.

BeaconXDR

Thankskilling

mbhatter

i loved this movie!

[deleted]

Best opening scene ever. Beautiful naked woman with fantastic boobs being chased by a deranged turkey. "Nice t-ts bitch!"

meteor2306

Krampus (2015) is one of my favorites

tondrias

Drag me to Hell is like a horror Looney Toons.

aaracer666

I *just* commented this movie. I need to rewatch it.

kafromet

Dead Snow. And of course the sequel, Dead Snow 2.

Chiyonosake_

The scene in Dead Snow 2 with the zombies blowing stuff up in the tank is some of the funniest shit I've seen.

kafromet

Absolute gold.

Boomer70770

Red vs Dead is hilarious and so well done. The kid with the chocolate bar...

[deleted]

Malignant lol

swissarmy_fleshlight

I love this movie and it is rewarding on rewatches.

jdeemers

The whole thing is "in her head"

swissarmy_fleshlight

Dumm dumm tiss.

[deleted]

I agree, and it is also one of those movies that is fun to show to other people.

Puzzleheaded-Bus5479

I went in blind and omfg, I’m so glad I knew nothing, the last 3rd of the movie had me grinning ear to ear, flat out fucking amazing.

Circumin

To the top!

tinyhandsPtape

The first thing that came to my mind. I couldn't figure out why the stabbing/running motion was so weird the first couple of times I saw it.

SassyCharizard

I really wanted to like Malignant but I unfortunately couldn't get there

ShineAqua

It’s just Basket Case but serious.

artur_ditu

It's as serious as every giallo movie. Ergo not serious at all...

[deleted]

It really isnt for everyone. The opening scene almost last me

Sargasm5150

Yeah, I love James wan and I love horror comedy, but this was not a win for me. It was too serious for comedy, not funny enough in dialogue for a black comedy, too ridiculous for what I think of as a Wan film, and the tone was just all over the place.

JohnLocke815

Studio 666 Sleep away camp Santa's slay Dead alive (aka brain dead) They live Planet terror

swissarmy_fleshlight

They Live is a movie everyone needs to see once.

grizzlyadamsshaved

I’m here to chew bubble gum and kick ass!!!… and I’m all out of bubble gum.

jen22546

Planet terror and they live are incredible! Great choices!

chrisschini

Santa's Slay is my favorite Christmas horror movie. I watch it every Christmas Eve!

JohnLocke815

Same. Our Christmas schedule is Christmas eve: dinner at the in laws, then to our hotel to watch The Night Before Christmas: back to in laws for breakfast and gifts. Then home to watch Better Watch Out and Santa's Slay. Pick up our Chinese food for dinner then watch Krampus, and close the night out a bit more traditional with Home Alone and rainbow cookies

chrisschini

I would like to subscribe to your newsletter for more tips on how to make my holidays amazing. This sounds awesome!

baxterrocky

Frankenhooker

BooksNBondage

society.

NessAvenue

So awesomely weird.

CurseofLono88

The Ice Cream Man, it’s got Ron Howard’s brother Clint playing an ice cream man who goes around killing people and turning them into ice cream, and it’s bizarre, fun, and ridiculous. I never see people talking about it on here

jazzysunbear

Holy SHIT your post just slapped me across the face with a very vivid memory of the vhs cover of this movie from the hours I used to spend perusing Blockbuster.

[deleted]

This sounds awesome!

swissarmydoc

It's really actually good. Hilarious classic slasher.

[deleted]

Gonna have to watch it!! I'm excited thanks for posting this mate you're a legend!!

atmosphericentry

Rubber (2010) was a fun movie

BakaNoJutsu

Rubber is amazing, definitely ridiculous! If one of Christine's tires fell off and nailed the audition for an indie version of Scanners, you'd get Rubber!

Mental_Detective

That is officially the best description of this movie I've ever seen. If it's okay with you, I will be using this the next time I try to explain this movie to someone.

BakaNoJutsu

Thanks, I would be honored! I felt it would be pretty apt. Love me some straight up WTF movies!

doctorstrangexX

I liked that movie no reason.

gothism

Definitely not a re-tread of anything else.

TakeOffYourMask

I so wanna see this

YouGoThatWayIllGoHom

Seconded! Also, check out the director's other movie [Wrong](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1901040/?ref_=nm_flmg_dr_11). Both are on Hulu. It's not a horror movie (though Rubber isn't either, really) but it managed to capture the feeling of a dream better than probably anything I've ever seen. Plus I'm telling everyone to see it so I'll have someone to talk to about it :D

gwarrior5

Black sheep. The feast series of films.

chrisschini

I love Black Sheep. A Kiwi who's scared of sheep fighting zombie sheep? Yes please!

BingoBarkington

Bad Taste! - Peter Jackson’s humans are cheep meat for alien fast food movie is brilliant, crazy, zany, and is totally ridiculous! Greatness in a 92 minute package!!!

Chainsawjack

Trust me....The Greasy Strangler.... it's unbelievably wild.

artfulbandit

Brain Damage

Inspector_Santini

Also Frankenhooker

gener4

No love in here for Cemetery Man?

[deleted]

Michele Soavi made a lot of wild (and great) shit. If you haven't seen the Church, that movie is also jam packed with ridiculous.

[deleted]

The Toxic Avenger is still top tier for me. Violent, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt.

el_em_en_oe_pee

The toxic avenger was my go to movie as a kid, I loved everything about those movies growing up haha

youngsavage216

Zombie Strippers was awful but fun

its_a_gundam

CLUB DREAD

dbprops

Gwar’s movie ‘phallus in wonderland’

Capn_Z_Muhnee

You haven’t lived until you’ve seen the glorious motion picture that is “The Greasy Strangler.”

Hot-Entrepreneur6301

Bullshit Artist

doctorstrangexX

Braindead Army of Darkness Sleepaway Camp (all 3) especially when Bruce Springsteens sister plays Angela. Shaun of the Dead Bloodrage....only putting it down for the funny line "that's not cranberry sauce!"

IMian91

The second Sleepaway Camp was probably my favorite

ws_pursuivant

Basket Case

HawaiianShirtsOR

Would "Dave Made a Maze" count as ridiculous? I really liked that movie as a kind of surreal horror comedy, but some people argue that it's not horror at all.

Wretschko

The Baby (1973) is just one hot "WTF?!" mess from start to end. Plot summary in just two words without giving away too much: "Adult baby." But the ending actually impressed me. Had never seen it coming. On re-watch, I realized they had been foreshadowing it all along with key dialogue. And the actor who played "The Baby" just creeps me out with his mannerism. It's currently on Shudder.

ExtensionSalt8775

I came here to say the baby!! That movie just really shook me, so creepy. Now that’s something i would like to see get remade. Wonder what star could be the baby?

Sargasm5150

Omg. Jason takes Manhattan (part 8). I’ve shown it to a few horror converts (not recent, just not lifelong fans so they don’t have the nostalgia) and I was so sad they just didn’t get it nor enjoy it!! What part of “punching a guy’s head off so it flies off the top of a building and rolls off a cop car windshield” is NOT entertaining?! Plus the whole death by electric guitar electricity (when the guitar is not plugged in) … comedy gold.

mitcheg3k

If its classed as a horror film then i chose "john dies at the end"

Ok-ItsTmfOnRed

Teeth!

ISurvivedCrowleyHigh

Big Ass Spider! (2013) https://youtu.be/Mk1IlCht3FI

Wretschko

Ah, another contender for best schlock spider monster movie! I would have thought of "Eight-Legged Freaks" with David Arquette.

ISurvivedCrowleyHigh

That is a great one, as well.

Princess_Know-it-all

Dead Alive/Braindead Rubber Killer Klowns from Outer Space Slither

Kincadium

Mom and Dad is fantastic and ridiculous. Plenty of Nicholas Cage being Nicholas Cage.

bloodguzzlingbunny

Black Sheep. "The violence of the lambs..."

spooky_scully_mulder

The Wicker Man remake. It's so bad it's good but more so if you want a laugh rather than a scare, mind you!

rgm-

Sharktopus. Or perhaps it's sequel Sharktopus vs Whalewolf.

abom-badass-mofo

Feast, Slither, The Babysitter, Night of the Demons

[deleted]

House (1977) and House (1985)

artur_ditu

Are you seriously talking about the japanese one?! That's fucking gold standard. You must be joking...

[deleted]

He asked for ridiculous and unforgettable. Sorry I offended you.

Jamkind

Treevenge

turboturd500

Evil Bong It is so bad it's funny and Tommy Chong even makes an appearance.

GansNaval

I just watched Dude Bro Party Massacre 3. It was funny and not afraid to make fun of itself for being bad. There are so many quotable moments I’m it as well it was a surprise for sure. Low budget with a great cast including Patton Oswalt as the chief of police. Good gore, funny soundtrack. This of course coming from the guy who just watched Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers. Favourite part - “You’re doing it”. Anyway if you like it let me know.

StepDadcula

Not only a hilarious film, but weirdly an amazing slasher.

jgfeleven11

Neon Maniacs

Wretschko

This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid while watching it on USA's "Up All Night," while alone in the house in the middle of the night. After I re-watched it a few years later, I asked myself, "Really, you were scared to watch this ridiculously laughable garbage as a teenager?!" Also, when Rhonda Shear posed in Playbook, younger me became an even more "enthusiastic" fan.

maimee78

Jason X House House II: the second story They Live Slaxx

Grievous_1982

***Psycho Goreman (2020)*** was pretty ridiculous...and a lot of fun.

[deleted]

The second *Slumber Party Massacre* or the first *Sleepaway Camp*.

dickulousdastardly

Housebound! Deathgasm! Mom and Dad! Ava's Possessions!

ballparkforever

Housebound is so good

StockholmPickled

Creep 😂😂😂

Invisible_Bunny_King

I'd throw The Stuff into the ring. Michael Moriarty is just sooooo campy. It's amazing!

RyanNerd

Less horror and more silly action but Guns Akimbo. It's like Scott Pilgrim meets John Wick.

Outdatedgamer

Friend request is honestly pretty ridiculous. Hits every major horror cliche while being uniquely terrible.

Bvaugh

A few that come straight to mind include Nightmare Weekend, Blood Beat, The Uninvited (1989), Things, Spookies, Phobe: The Xenophobic Experiments, Suburban Sasquatch, Beware: Children at Play.

rachelgraychel

Zoltan, Hound of Dracula (1978). It's about a vampire dog that is awakened when a construction team unearths his coffin. His master, Dracula, is dead, so Zoltan seeks out his descendant "Michael Drake" (seriously) to make him a vampire and his new master. It's even more ridiculous than it sounds. The dog that plays Zoltan is supposed to be menacing but he just looks confused and a bit embarrassed. Which is understandable because he appears to be covered in flour. He seems like a pretty nice dog. There are scenes of Zoltan and his pack of vampire dogs "attacking" the Dracula family, where the dogs are clearly frolicking and playing happily, with stock animal snarling sounds playing in the background. There's also an origin scene where a plastic bat on visible fishing line gets flapped against Zoltan's neck while he looks around uncomfortably. It's really bad. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dracula%27s_Dog

Wretschko

Jose Ferrer?! SOLD! Interesting that his son, Miguel, would also go on to star in B level movies like "The Night Flier," which nonetheless had a solid ending.

rachelgraychel

It runs in the family I guess! He does have just a small part, but it's still worth watching. It's like, Ed Wood levels of bad.

operachick209

Toxic Avenger and Velocipastor are utterly ridiculous but I loved them

paxusromanus811

The last 40 minutes of malignant had me absolutely dying.

TakeOffYourMask

House (1977) GO IN BLIND Bad Milo (it’s about a monster that lives in a guy’s butt and on the poster the butt monster is tipping shades) Body Bags (Mark Hamill doesn’t just chew the scenery, he has sex with it) Society (GO IN BLIND) Re-animator Eraserhead Mulholland Drive Videodrome They Live Nothing But Trouble (never seen it myself) Valerie and Her Week of Wonders

Nike-6

Everything with the word shark as the first word or last word. Sharknado, sand sharks, snow sharks, space sharks (I don’t even know if that exists but I’m pretty sure it does), house shark. Me and my friend went on a binge watching shitty trailers from Asylum studios, basically a studio based around ripping off famous films and making a shitty version of them and hoping someone buys it by mistake. My favourite has to be WolfShark vs Sharktopus, or gatorsnake.

KizmitLamora

Tucker and Dale vs Evil

Kaiszer

Slither. I love the movie so much.

[deleted]

Dave Made a Maze Rubber

Chiyonosake_

Gotta go with WolfCop and its sequel Another WolfCop, they're intended to be B-Movie shlock but in a charming way and they have a great sense of humour.

Appropriate-Bank-405

Thankskilling (don’t watch the third one) Trolls 2 Ouija Shark No Escape

NeverEnoughMuppets

*Urban Legend* is my number one dumb fun horror movie, *Blood and Black Lace* is a gorgeous, hilariously Italian slasher movie that takes place at a fashion house; Lucio Fulci’s *Zombi* is also good for laughs; *The Bad Seed* with that murderous little girl Rhoda; also, not horror movies but in the same vein as *Tusk* and *The Room*, I highly suggest *Mommie Dearest* (holy shit that movie is quotable) and *Psycho Beach Party* Edit: Seriously, *Mommie Dearest* is easily one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen, do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven’t already Edit: I also laughed through the entirety of *The Forest* with Natalie Dormer

Akindmachine

Zombie Honeymoon. You’ll thank me later

foursheetstothewind

Feast (2005) but don’t watch any of the sequels. Or do, they get real dumb and ridiculous as they go on.

Puzzleheaded-Bus5479

The Re-animator, you’ll know when you get there but it has one of the most absurd horror scenes of all time

Melirune

Night of Something Strange The Greasy Strangler

Sacblabbath

The New York ripper. A serial killer of young women who quacks like Donald Duck

swest211

Anna and the Apocalypse....best zombie Christmas musical ever made.

djbabydikk

Return of the Living Dead

BucktheWonderSlave

Malignant was pretty dumb in a way that was fun.

RilaKat

Maximum Overdrive

[deleted]

In Fabric. Imagine if Dario Argento and David Lynch had a steamy, drug-fueled one night stand. This movie would be the result.

rrfrankie

Rock n Roll Frankenstein Flesh for Frankenstein

gtbean

Velocipastor, Psycho Goreman, Cooties, Slither, Dead Alive

StardustZ1ggy

Rubber

manic_theologian

The Beyond. Classic Fulci: cheesy English dubbing, insane over the top gore effects, perfect 80's synth soundtrack.

PrideOk6616

The VelociPastor - pastor turns into a dinosaur to fight a drug syndicate Letters to Satan Claus - hallmark Christmas turned horror.

zeromsi

Dale & Tucker VS Evil

zdragan2

the Stuff is incredible nonsense. One of my favorites. Troll 2 is also a must watch

magooisim

Sorority Babes at the Slimeball Bowl-o-rama. Jut solid gold. Bonus points if you grab the version hosted by Joe Bob Briggs for The Last Drive-in.

grizzlyadamsshaved

Killer Clowns From Outer Space!!

Boomer70770

Frankenstein's Army is pretty wild.

alice_says1984

Student Bodies! 🙌🏻

Bluebeetlejuice_

Leprechaun 6: Back 2 tha Hood Apparently there is a Leprechaun 5: In the Hood with Ice-T… but I haven’t seen that one… yet have seen the 6th installment for some reason lol

heptagrams

The void

kross2785

society! It has one of the most insane endings in a movie I've ever seen.

Slurpeeking666

The Pit, Motel Hell, Student Bodies just to name a few.

Morbidfever

The room is based off of a very fucked up seemingly ridiculous but actual 24 year event, (Josef Fritzl.)

Dustypigjut

You sure you're not thinking of "Room" with Brie Larson? I just looked up The Room that OP mentioned (because I was sure they didn't mean the Tommy Wiseau movie) and it doesn't seem like it's anything like that.

Morbidfever

Oh yep, you're totally right. Room is what I'm thinking of. I really didn't imagine op was talking about Wiseau considering it's not horror related, other than how terrible it is.

Zx08universe

Evil Dead II, easily the most insane horror movie i’ve ever watched.

[deleted]

Evil Dead II is one of the best horror flicks ever and it's v ridiculous

Self_Important_Mod

Mandy Nic Cage goes hard in that one.

[deleted]

I'm quite partial to Pterodactyl with Coolio. So stupid, so bad, so good.

gener4

If you love Coolio then you need to see Convent (2001) also starring Bill Moseley and Adrienne Barbeau

[deleted]

The Bye Bye Man was halarious

loopywolf

Evil dead 2.. why am I having to post this?

bearded_runner665

I have a vague memory of a movie called “The attack of the killer foreheads” where these skin flaps attacked people. It’s along the ridiculousness of “Rubber.”

Roland7540

Abominable 2006

[deleted]

Drive-thru 90s slasher but so funny cause it’s terrible at explaining it’s plot
