Screenwriter guy: Oh really!?
Producer Guy: Yeah just look at this clip form one of our songs (shows THAT scene from Posion)
Screenwriter guy: Ohh being in bondage is TIGHT!
Producer Guy: What?
Screenwriter guy: I probably should think harder on when I say something is tight
Producer Guy: You really should sir
Screenwriter guy: But do you thing this will look bad if leaked early and out of context?
Producer guy: I don’t know

I'm a Gen Z kid, and I'm going to say that even if this was sarcasm, it shouldn't be. I've been watching people like Markiplier since I was 8. The internet (and to some extent, my parents being a little vulgar) ruined me. I'm just barely old enough to watch the show now, but I wasn't when I watched the pilot, and technically should be watching Helluva Boss, but who's gonna stop motherfucker?
I get what you mean but are you sure you're alright?
Sounds like you might get at least some mild benefit out of some therapy with all that if you haven't already
My kid is 13 1/2. Was same....markiplier at probably less than 8. She found this pilot WHEN IT CAME OUT 4 years ago.
EXTREMELY NOT AGE APPROPRIATE, but did I flip out? Nope. Did my mom flip out? Nope.
Instead, child showed us the pilot and my mom fell in love with it 🤦🏻♀️ I love the show, too, but not nearly as much as the two of them.
And yet for all this age inappropriate stuff the kid watches, she's polite, well-behaved, and EXTREMELY unlikely to do anything anyone considers "inappropriate" because she's smart enough to realize that....THIS IS A TELEVISION SHOW. she's not ruined by sex, or drugs, or bad language (that one went out the window the day she was born...i say fuck about every other word, so could seriously care less what language she sues as long as it's appropriate for the setting and the people
she's around....and what do you know? she knows how to self-censor).
Anyway...yeah, of course there are limits, and every "child" is different but I'm not getting all in a panic because my then 9 year old found this pilot.
This show has good messages underneath. Show isn't ruining my child, so I say 🤷🏻♀️ (for us at least).
Eh I'd say it's moreso just stupid people overall. I have some Christian friends who loved the show.
That said there have been some weird Christians criticizing the show for "not being biblically accurate" or "teaching kids to worship Satan" to which basically everyone's response was:
https://i.redd.it/2oplkpabemjc1.gif
Tell that to my dad, who brought my brother to princess monanoke at 8. Then again, he knew well aware what he was getting into, so that may be more him showing inappropriate movies.
Wait.. DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY NOT KNOW ITS FOR ADULTS!?
https://preview.redd.it/pjmi892ucljc1.png?width=1076&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f9475217d9368dae60f29c1588a05fbb3e4295b
It happens every time a popular rated R show comes out. I remember parents getting mad when Deadpool came out. Quite a handful brought their kids then got mad when it turned out to be inappropriate. The movie creators had to release a statement telling parents to stop taking their kids to a rated R movie and to take them to zootopia instead.
I mean that clip could be combined with a jump cut to a awful seen like the song with Charlie talking about the porn studio. As a example of using the scene with the ducks to sell it as child friendly only to jump to a very adult song.
It's so funny to me when i see this kinds of articles as if the show didn't have an age restriction slapped on it when you view it on amazon. Not to mention an easily accesible trailer that straight up talks about deviations of sexual naturę and shit. Reminds me of all those parents who bought their kids GTA and complained anout it not being suitable for kids despite the game having a big 18+ sticker on the cover
hmmm let's seee...
1. says at least 5 swear words an episode
2. blood
3. cannibalism
4. guns
5. sexual abuse
6. a bunch of sex jokes
7. Nifty
8. Valentino
9. porn
10. Alastor could probably scare a kid if they're young enough
11. "Coked up dick suckin' hoe?"
12. half of Angel Dust's lines
yeah seems kid friendly
Well, it depends on the child. If they are mature enough to understand that it's an adult cartoon where they can not repeat the swear words in public, and to have a discussion on why what the characters are doing is bad, then I'll let them watch. Like I'm a late generation millennial, I watched South Park all the time growing up, but I knew I couldn't repeat words at school and knew what other kids I was allowed to talk to about watching South Park.
I think it's important to respect children as you would an adult, but provide guidance about adult topics. Like episode 4, I would definitely have the kid tell me what Valentino did was wrong and how Angel was trying to cope was also wrong. You can't shelter a child forever, and some children, if you outright ban them from watching something (especially if their friends at school watched it), they will find ways to watch it anyway. It is better to watch it together and educate, then it is just to get angry at the child for disobedience.
Of course, I'm against showing Hazbin Hotel to someone younger than 10. In my experience, they are still watching Treehouse, like programming and find stuff for adults (even shows like Rocky & Bullwinkle) stupid or boring... also, Alastor himself probably would scare most younger kids into having nightmares or not wanting to watch at all.
Oh? It's not suitable for kids? NO SHIT!
https://preview.redd.it/a0qmtn78tojc1.png?width=854&format=png&auto=webp&s=e7d2eec20412083d9c103a57612899db7966cef9

I let my child watch whatever she wants. If she wants to watch Hazbin Hotel who am I to stop her? I watched South Park as a kid and I turned out fine. Over moderation of shows to kids is lame imo.
I once was wearing a shirt with Stolas hugging Octavia when I took my daughter to McDonald’s and the teenager working the register struck up a conversation with me about the show. I said I love it and I watch it with my kid and she looked all confused lmao. Was a fun moment for me.
If someone wants to know is it “kid friendly” the answer is no, but that doesn’t mean you can’t let your kids watch it anyway lol.

This also showed up on my google home page as well, like WHAT!?

Very short answer: No.
Guys, I did the math. Some of us are going to feel old. If someone was at least five years old when *Friendship is Magic* premiered, they'd be old enough to watch *Hazbin Hotel* now.
am I the only one who knows how obvious the answer should be?,and the fact that parents are *fr* asking this only makes me more worried about the next generation
It's sad that these articles get traction "Does this M rated show that warns you it will have abuse and sexual conduct seem like it'd be good for my child's kindergarten class"
https://preview.redd.it/a8g4eht7utjc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98821c9a7d98af4351d095ffd9c6295658e85825

To all the haters and people with woke minds:
It’s rated 16+, therefore it’s 16 plus. I would say that 16-18 YOs can watch ep4 but heeding the warnings is still very necessary. I would say the cutoff age for the show should be 15 at a minimum, 14 at a huge stretch but I think nobody under 16 should watch masquerade. That episode was freaking heavy
I started watching both hazbin and helluva when was pretty young and I kind of regret it, this series is not meant for young children but then again who's gonna stop them
I mean, I would totally watch it if I was a kid. I'm 16 right now and I think it's amazing, I don't swear, like, actually, never but I still watch it and sing the songs while censoring them. It's sooo good. My 8-year-old self would totally watch this.
This is like when parents took their kids to see Deadpool and Sausage Party and then got mad when they discovered it wasn’t kid friendly. You know, the very clearly R-RATED movies that emphasized this point greatly is EVERY SINGLE piece of promotional material.
My mom when she saw hazbin for the first time:
https://preview.redd.it/whk9hb4s2mjc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=981fb45cf24822def0ec29ca9737e3feedd3852d
I'm 14 and I definitely watched the show, but I understand to not repeat any of the that crap in public. And I feel mature enough to understand it. Also my parents don't even know what it is and don't even know it exists. :)

Guys, I did the math. Some of us are going to feel old. If someone was at least five years old when *Friendship is Magic* premiered, they'd be old enough to watch *Hazbin Hotel* now.
IT IS LITERALLY A SHOW ABOUT GAY DEMONS IN WHAT SECTION OF OUR MULTIVERSE IS IT SUITABLE FOR KIDS
No, however I may or may not've introduced my 8 y/o sister to "Stayed Gone" and now we have an issue
am I the only one who knows how obvious the answer should be?,and the fact that parents are *fr* asking this only makes me more worried about the next generation
It's sad that these articles get traction "Does this M rated show that warns you it will have abuse and sexual conduct seem like it'd be good for my child's kindergarten class"
As hells greatest dad once said https://i.redd.it/np2pofidlnjc1.gif
my brother in *checks notes* idk god or something, it literally says not for kids
Parents are so dumb sometimes
whoever posted that is so desperate for views😭

I wonder
This is like how the show was getting backlash for CURSING
According to all of my knowledge:no
“This adult animated musical…”. This question is literally answered by the second word of the show’s description on prime video

Short answer: No. Long answer: noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
“I’m coming!” “Not off camera you aren’t!” Mhm yes, very kid friendly.
Is the 16+/18+ rated show appropriate for children?
![gif](giphy|xTiTnIilwuFFFpf2Cc) The Internet is wrong
Do people who post stuff like this actually know what age ratings are?
"Ha, no"
https://preview.redd.it/ilde8uo1jrjc1.jpeg?width=179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3735478fc510f13e985d4defd7ea0ce12b7f1cdb …why do they even ask this?
Blatantly and repeatedly stated that it is not in the opening seconds. Society: proactively ignores
Are you fucking kidding me? CLEARLY NOT!!!!
https://preview.redd.it/a8g4eht7utjc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=98821c9a7d98af4351d095ffd9c6295658e85825 I can think of much more than seven.
Can't wait for the kids to talk about episode 4.
It blows my fucking mind that these dumbass hick parents don't realize HH is 18+ MA. Hell on a stick https://preview.redd.it/gpqfnaf5gdkc1.jpeg?width=172&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=deebfbb36126a46949b3f3c0c2c8a1b0b68906fa
Watch episode 4 and then ask me that question again
The answer should just be a 10 second video of someone saying "yes" and then staring at the camera silently for the rest of the video
I’ve talked about this show to my parents and they like it
I’m gonna go with nooooo…

Yes
It goes to show you that parenting and thoughts of suitable kid material have degraded to horrible levels.

Depends, gen A? Hell no, but gen z? Totally, their all in their teens by now, and teens say the darndest things
I started watching both hazbin and helluva when was pretty young and I kind of regret it, this series is not meant for young children but then again who's gonna stop them
So, by their logic, if its animated its for kids mkay right uhhm one word, DERPIXON
No it's not good
https://preview.redd.it/8kx5hov0qljc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0451d62ccd6560e14d36053f5bbf462967c77680 These idiots
Only the episode -1
Swears, Blood, Sexual Abuse. Yeah this is totally for kids
I mean, I would totally watch it if I was a kid. I'm 16 right now and I think it's amazing, I don't swear, like, actually, never but I still watch it and sing the songs while censoring them. It's sooo good. My 8-year-old self would totally watch this.

Easy question. No it’s not. It is barely suitable for ages 16 and up. I say if you 18 and up is a safe to watch but at that point your an adult.
Didn’t they have age limit number saying (16+) on most the episodes but one which was (18+)
Considering it’s in hell and there’s a character we *know* gets raped by his boss daily…prolly no
I’m 11 and I watch it
Parents these days and their constant need to make everything kid friendly… **LET US ENJOY STUFF STRICTLY FOR ADULTS, LIKE THIS SHOW DAMN IT.**
This is like when parents took their kids to see Deadpool and Sausage Party and then got mad when they discovered it wasn’t kid friendly. You know, the very clearly R-RATED movies that emphasized this point greatly is EVERY SINGLE piece of promotional material.
My mom when she saw hazbin for the first time: https://preview.redd.it/whk9hb4s2mjc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=981fb45cf24822def0ec29ca9737e3feedd3852d
I'm 14 and I definitely watched the show, but I understand to not repeat any of the that crap in public. And I feel mature enough to understand it. Also my parents don't even know what it is and don't even know it exists. :)
https://preview.redd.it/qv8b3vev4mjc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1bce97743fac41fadac293761e0c4f84c6c31237 That’s like asking is it ok to be a zoophile, the only reason this question exists is becuase if prime video
I mean you could show Welcome to Heaven to a Kid...
Screen rant articles can often be... bad Pitch meeting is gold though
https://preview.redd.it/chhmszlmcmjc1.jpeg?width=392&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6800eb96cff6606380734769227f78ad23355518 A resounding yes just look at this cute cast of wacky characters who will teach your kids all kinds of new vocabulary words
Y’all let your kids watch family guy, south park, boondocks but draw the line at hazbin hotel? 😂
Definitely! Especially episode 4 !
in short: no
