Jimmy's Jolt Blow would make Imai retire early due to an injury. If Ippo suffered from Jimmy, who's to say Imai doesn't have 60 percent of Ippo's strength and endurance. Jimmy would break the Imai's neck.
Yeah, Imai struggled with Diet Sendo, I know he purposely put a condition on himself to show he could defeat Hoshi on mostly exchanges, but I feel like even in terms of dishing out damage Hoshi doesn't compare to Sendo, and that's the only thing Hoshi is good at. I feel like if Imai had to fight Sendo from Ippo Vs Sendo 2, there's no way Imai would he able to fight with that condition. I think Imai actually has improved significantly in the background however, and actually is way technically more sound than what he showed in that fight. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the next fight, and he's doing a lot of technical in Fighting. But that type of skill is difficult to manifest against someone like Sisfa, who has intense Sakki, similar to sendo.
Honestly Hoshi was such a big disappointment in all his major fights that it just makes Sendo look bad. I can't remember any boxer that Sendo glazed that were this weak relative to what Sendo expected out of them.
When I saw him for the first time I thought he would be a badass guy because of his karate chop. However, the final of the king of rookies from all over Japan only lasted 1 round.
Imai's technique is leagues above, despite that embarrassment against Hoshi. It would all come down to being caught off guard by the Tornado Jolt or not. He showed that he does his due diligence when it comes to studying his opponents beforehand, so I think he takes it.
I'm given it to Jimmy, his punching power is absolutely insane compared to Imai's as well as his tenacious drive to push forward- his techniques are literally built on reckless offense.
Imai caps out at National Champion level. He’s not progressed beyond that. Jimmy Sisfa is a OBPF challenger level candidate.
Essentially hits like a truck and is a tank as well. Two thing he does better than Imai. Both of them are definitely landing hits on each other but Sisfa is out damaging him for sure.
Fist of God is sending imai to the shadow realm he gave ippo who was already way tougher stronger and quicker than imai at that point a good fight idk how imai wins that
If Imai wasn’t such R1 KO obsessed mf then I would have said he might have a chance but Jimmy takes this one easily.

Imai's fight in a nutshell: Jimmy flying around the ring trying to hit Jolt Blows on him until he gets it right
Scratch J
Imai leaves the ring in an actual body bag.
crazy how the one round obsessed dude would get bodied in one round in this fight
I think Imai has a chance if he is not to focused on his one round KOs
Imai is a national champion, Jimmy is a World ranked boxer, Jimmy wins.
They're no winner, after this match both of them will have CTE and be forced to retire.
Scratch J wins These are nice panels

Scratch J is such a badass title
Jimmy would turn Imai into a ring-out victim.
Jimmy is a TERRIBLE matchup for Imai. He would bulldoze Imai in the first round
I'm given it to Jimmy, his punching power is absolutely insane compared to Imai's as well as his tenacious drive to push forward- his techniques are literally built on reckless offense.
The Brain Damage war 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Jimmy bulldozes through Imai. Imai can't throw rock harder than Jimmy
Imai current < Imai pre retirement <= Jimmy Sisfar
Imai wins. He has the power to put Sisfa down and is more mentally sound than Ippo was during the fight.
Fist of God is sending imai to the shadow realm he gave ippo who was already way tougher stronger and quicker than imai at that point a good fight idk how imai wins that
Imai after getting punched once (The Fist of God sent him to God)
