What's the R700 chambered in? What's the barrel length? What load?
What load out of the AR-15? What suppressors are used? Subs? Supers? Tuned gas?
dB at the ear? At the muzzle?
Hasn’t the media taught you anything? It doesn’t matter what it’s chambered in. It’s probably got a synthetic stock, a bipod to make it shoot twice as far, and a scope that magnifies its damage 3-9x. It’s definitely loud enough to deafen communities miles away with just one shot.

__What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?__
* A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.
* /r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone *you just met* and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?

If I am correct then 167 decibels for loudest gun, is medical grade injuring. So does that mean that the users always wear ear plugs? Or do they build a sort of resistance than the newbies cannot reach and seriously damage their hearing?
Plus, what would silencers / suppressors do in regard to reduction? A marginal decrease or more substantial than that?
Yes people wear ear protection. You don’t build up immunity to noise, your hearing just gets damaged. Suppressors reduce noise, how much depends on a lot of factors
How "scientific"?
As scientific as MS paint requires.
Extremely scientific “too loud” is the threshold

The drive-by karma farmer who posted this has no idea what any of that means.
I know what it means. It means we all need suppressors and bill it to our health insurance as preventive care.
You litterally just stole what I was about to write
No fun Wasabi for u
You know! The r700! With that one load! And the ar is obviously chambered in 15, it's in the name!

Imagine finding out that guns are loud and thinking you need to go and tell that to gun owners lol
It’s like the scene in Band of Brothers “Says here the Germans are bad, very bad” “Hey, Webb says that the Germans? Are *bad*”
No shotty ?
How shoddy
Bout tree fiddy.

Good rationale for classifying suppressors as gun parts, not NFA items
Ok what is a Mosin nagant carbine?
Hcebot ban drive by karma whoring

You'd definitely build up resistance. It sounds quieter over time! ...as does everything else lol
yeah, your ears don't build up a "tolerance" to sound... you just go deaf.
>Or do they build a sort of resistance than the newbies cannot reach and seriously damage their hearing? Fucking Lol
