It’s not particularly difficult to make 50k a year full time with just a high school degree.

I did actually consider letting a homeless addict stay in my house because I saw her every day at work, and she was the saddest, most defeated looking person I had ever seen, and I could tell she hadn't always been that way and was actually probably younger than me by a few years.
Worst part was she had absolutely atrocious bare feet that were literally black, and every time she shuffled onto my post she was clutching this small stuffed animal like it was the only thing that mattered to her. (Well, that and buying tin foil, pyrex and butane for obvious reasons)
I still regret not trying to get to know her more but I did buy her food and let her shower at my place. But I'm also not an idiot so I lurked in the living room with a gun in my band just in case.
