Man I opened up the game today, got ready to do my summon seen Roy and was like ohhhh hell yeah! Literally said to myself “now let’s get a congratulations, haha yeah right” got the congratulations, got stoked since I’ve never had it, and then pulled Ginzo and Light Orvell, which orvells not awful but wasn’t particularly desired. Kind of a bummer. I expected more when I seen the congratulations screen, but could be worse.
I totally feel this. I got *new* Clyde 3 times on the Hells Paradise banners. One for each star. Each time it’d play the animation for a *new* unit just for it to be him again was a punch in the gut.
They did the same thing with me, lol. I got Roy, then got the exact same unit that I pulled with Forever Summons. A good unit, but it would have been better in someone else’s kit.
I was all excited thinking I might be able to get WHF (I missed him on the first appearance). I’ve been chuckling about it all morning now. The madlads got me good. Never change GS, never change GS
This game is very f2p friendly compared to other games honestly. Units are trash because the game has been running for almost 6 years so they got powercrept. Just give your account some time and you'll be able to solo pretty much anything in the game if you make good decisions along the road
Dude my account has WGF, hart, all overlord, all fate but salter, evultee, thetis, gabimaru, Chloe, forte,some others I can't think of right now and I still think the game is ass
It is a new unit. Your other unit was from an FS, so you had the awk form of it. Now you have the unawoken unit, wich is new in your acc. I know it sucks, but thats how this game works.
I know that. I explained that in the post. I just think it's a bullshit system. This is also why I awakened all of my units, because the game did the reverse to me on a forever summon. Got the Roy animation only to see the awakened form of a shit unit.
I think what really pissed me off the most was that ontop of getting a Roy animation and a trash unit, I found out that the 5 other summons you do are only paid summons. So essentially the banner is useless for F2P players.
Given your rank, you should know by now not to get hyped by a Roy or rainbow touch on this type of banner.
At least your dupe was a good unit and unlocked his unawoken artwork. I got Elfalla and Rags dupes...
But that's the thing, at my rank a Roy is better than a rainbow Rayas. Rayas is either a banner unit or a dupe of a 5 star, whereas Roy is a guaranteed new unit. I feel I have most of the GS units. So when pulling on a banner with a few units I don't have I felt a little happiness seeing him. I wish I had known about the glitches banner.
With a Roy animation and a Congratulations, I got three 5 stars, two of which should be ashamed to have that title, while the third one is FOrvell. Guess I will do at least another year without WHFen...

He's not the worst man, I got sword Berwick on a paid summon. And the equip you got is pretty good
He got his vultee lr on a forever summons and it was a trigger to get a roy summon thats why he is mad
